Among the ancient Iranian people, a semi-nomadic group has marched through the west by 1000 BC, in search of a new home, establishing themselves into the northeast of the Greek lands, forming the Odinochnians. Slowly, they have built a minor confederation of tribes, evolving from a small group of nomads to a whole nation which established a symbiotic relation, both forced and voluntary, with sedentary civilizations near their domain, due to their ineptness in agriculture trading livestock and meat in exchange of agricultural goods.
Thus, they have specialized completely in animal husbandry, and due to their position amidst the Greeks and Assyrians, into warfare. In 630 BC, a failed attack against the Assyrians has pushed their civilization into impending defeat as the storm of their revenge marched into their territory. The Odinochnians have been defeated, with a few managing to retreat into the far west, to the mountainous regions of the southwest Balkan. After their loss, their civilization slowly begin to reestablish into small villages, acquiring a symbiotic relationship with Illyrian cities from which their ensured their survival through trade.
In 590 BC, the Chiefdom of Odinochnia was formally established, as the Chief Taxakis proclaimed their commitment to be a free people. On the other hand, their eastern counterpart has began a process of sedentarization and formed clearer and more definitesocial strata, as the Assyrians were expelled. Such factor made the Kingdom Odinochnia to lose its shared cultural identity with the still nomad Chiefdom of Odinochnia, separating a same people between those who became "civilized" and those who didn't.

The Odinochnian society is formed by three basic classes, which are far from stratified due to its nomadic nature: the warriors, the breeders and the priests, and rarely imply into differences of wealth, but rather into the way peers perceive them and into their primary tasks for society. The three classes are interchangeable, although hard work and dedication is required for a breeder to become a warrior or priest, and not all have the determination or will to ascend to a position of higher prestige.
Warriors have most prestige, and form the ruling class and the basis for future Chiefs. Breeders also encompass other functions accessory to their ensured survival.
Priests organize the worship of their fire God Tabiti and of their other deities, and also are the crafters of Odinochnia, trained since their initiation into the art of goldsmith to construct holy symbols, jewels and sculptures, and thus they are also the artistic class of their people. Finally, they are also responsible for the spread of knowledge and for philosophy. The consumption of Cannabis is common among the sages and soothsayers of this class to enter into a state of trance.
Away from the usual three classes, sometimes, specially during wars, slaves might temporarily exist. However, due to their very nature, they cannot maintain slaves, and thus the same tend to be traded as soon as they are captured, putting into question whether they truly compose their society or not.
Like hinted, there is very little difference between genders, to the point that both men and women dress equal, and young and unmarried women have the same rights of men. Married women assume a duty to their husbands which forbids them to go into war, and a mutual contract of loyalty, but otherwise maintain all the other rights of their society.

The Odinochnians lack a navy, and have a under-equipped infantry, specially due to their nomadic life connected to horses, and thus the staple of their forces always lied with cavalry. They are infamous for their art of crafting poisoned and barbed arrows, deathtraps to lure enemies into, and as proved in the east, where even after the Assyrian conquest, bands continued to operated in asymmetric warfare, they are masters of mobility warfare, justifying their capabilities into hit and run attacks, envelopment, encirclement and their extremely inferior siege warfare skills, for they lack any siege warfare equipment like catapults, ballistas, except for improvised horse-drawn tree trunk rams.
The Odinochnian infantry is basically made of spearmen armed with iron-tipped spears and with little more than studded leather armor, intended as a purely defensive force to keep enemies occupied for the cavalry to flank and encircle, and infamous for their propensity to retreat into an envelope. Although decently skilled, if still inferior to Greek foot soldiers, their equipment is far from optimal, and usually their ranks are made of those with poor riding skills, meaning that the foot soldiers lack the same prestige of the cavalry. Small iron axes and short swords complement the armament of the foot soldiers. Usually, they have horses available to accelerate their deployment, although they do not engage into combat mounted on their horses.
There are little to no foot archers, being usually the least skilled of their archers, who lack the needed dexterity for horseback archery, and serve a mostly defensive function in support of defending foot soldiers. They are usually unarmored, and have little more than a short sword, or even a mere knife, for self-defense.
