All Uiri Military Bases in Il Korea

Protests began all around the country when news spread that the nation of Uiri was to move 12,000 troops and many 7500 aircraft into the region. A number of Il Korean citizens showed up to all of the bases and designated military bases that were currently housing the military forces of Uiri. A number of protestors brought signs with them with phrases written on them like "NO UIRI" "GET OUT NOW". There were also pictures of the Uirian President on large posters. They were deliberately lit on fire so the News Agencies would air them on television channels throughout the world.

Il Korean Capital, Slum Neighborhood

At a small abandoned building in the slums of the Il Korean capital, members of the Il Korean Intelligence Bureau (I.K.I.B.) met with members of a criminal organization. The members were consisted of a number of Sicilian and Calabrian criminals, with ties to the Mafia in Italy. For years they had been on the run, and now they had setup an empire in Il Korea. Their ties were to a local colony of muslim Albanian guerilla fighters. The meeting was to discuss a possible ambush and attacks on numerous Uirian military bases in the country. A large amount of russian made assault rifles, rpgs and explosives were purchased by members of the Russian Mafiya organizations operating within the region.

Il Korean Military Bases

The Air Forces went on call, and immediately sent a call to all pilots within bases and on leave to report to their aircraft immediately. The Navy called up all the pilots, and launched 60 F-18 Hornets and 20 F-35 Lighting II. The Air Forces, once mobilized, would eventually have 300 F-16 C/Ds, 75 F-22 Raptors, and 100 F-35 Lighting II in the air. The Marines were called up to mobilize, and began prepping for any type of attack they could face. The Army also was called up and began preparing all of its forces. The Navy's Destroyers were ordered to take aim at all targets under Uiri that were in the country. Their Tomahawk cruise missiles were loaded and ready to fire if the command were to be given. If the Uiri Government cooperated with Il Korea there would be a peaceful solution. However, if this Military presence based in the country showed any form of defending itself or attempting to attack Il Korean forces (whom by the way have fired no shots and are simply patrolling around Uiri bases), then there would indeed be hell to pay.

OOC: NO, We have been in since you joined OSAFU. So either this is retroactive or I don't know, you only realized now that my troops are in your nation. You agreed to let me in by joining OSAFU.

Don't you dare use Uirian. It is Uir and why the President instead of the Prime Minister? Just curious why you chose one over the other.

TO: Il Korea

I thought that you were an ally of the Uir. I honestly did. We said in the OSAFU charter that we would not use the bases to invade your nation. Which is why we won't use the bases to invade your nation. Your region? Perhaps there are other OSAFU members in your region. I cannot guarantee that. I can guarantee that our forces will be removed from your nation however, we would like to hold talks before making any decision.

If you had been the one to support the liberals before we had gone to support the Imperialists, indeed it would have been different. We would have gone with you and assisted the Liberals. However this was not the case. We had announced our support for the Imperialists and in blatant enimity you chose to support an opposing faction. In any case, I believe a diplomatic talk is in order in order to sort out this fiasco. What do you say?

Various Uir Bases

It was strange that the Il Koreans would drop by for a visit. Normally they announced themselves and it was higher-ups visiting. Nonetheless, the Uir soldiers welcomed in the Il Koreans. The Uir offered the soldiers food and a choice of coffee, tea or sodapop. It was nice to be able to actually meet soldiers who they would, as the Uir soldiers thought, one day be fighting alongside against a common enemy. These were their allies and they let them in.

OOC: I am compltely aware that your troops are in my nation, which is exactly why I have planes flying around their bases. Now, I don't really give a flyin f**k what your nation is called an how it's pronounced. This is just a game to me and it's not really my top priority to remember how to pronounce the title of your citizens, but I've noticed you've complained about that to a number of nations, so I guess that's your problem because you picked the name not me.

We were not aware of who you supported. As a country that embraces Democracy we simply chose that faction, because we believe that is the best way to live. We had no intentions of opposing you, and do wish to be allies with you. We welcome and look forward to any talks that our two nations can have. We have supported you in the past with other potential engagements and wish to do so in the future. Your forces do not have to leave our country. But let's try and sort things out with these talks.

The air patrol slowed down drastically, as Il Korean forces only left a handful of what was originally sent into the skies. It was simply an over reaction made by their government and military officials.

OOC: Planes around bases, kewl as long as you don't attack. I can understand you wanting to keep tabs on my troops. I guess I must sound more pissed off than I really am about the whole Uir thing. Its just a quirk about my citizens. ICly, anything other than Uir would be grounds for war. Heads up. Oh, and if you really want to piss them off call them Urine - it sounds like it could be a demonym and is also the term for a bodily excretement.

TO: Il Korea

That is what we hoped. We too are a democracy, and while this is the best form of government, when we intervene we expect a little bit of a return on our investment if we win if you know what I mean. And so the right-wing authoritarians are who we usually pick. This meant choosing the Imperialists over the Fascists because they had more support. I shall be flying with Vice-President Sumoson to Romeo Land Base (located on the Sea of Japan in Rason). We hope to meet with you there.

The Airbus A319 took off from Gogari Initer-Natonal Éropor en route towards Romeo Land Base in Il Korea. Mr. Aposon went over the notes about the conflict. He thought it was probably an honest mistake and that it would be able to be sorted out diplomatically, however such things were not always easy. He hoped that Uir business in Il Korea would not be effected.

The Vice President fit the meeting into his schedule after cancelling a couple of meetings with some members of the Department of Transportation. Exiting his home dressed conservatively in his suit, the Vice-President entered the convoy of black SUVs left the building and headed towards the base. Extra security was setup around the military base to provide security for the Vice-President.

"How do you think this will go sir?" asked Jhoon, the personal assistant to the Vice President. "Hopefully, everything will go pretty good. We don't need to fight the Uirs (I hope that's correct for plural? If not I can edit it), they're a huge power. But we'll see how things go." replied the Vice-President.

Upon arrival to the military base, the convoy pulled up in front of the main gate awaiting the approval from the Uir Military to enter.

OOC: Uiré, it doesn't matter, it is a mistake which could be made by anyone who doesn't know Uir language structure.

IC:

The plane landed, having been escorted by two Rafales based at the base and landed without an issue. The President got out, followed by the Vice-President. Colonel Kimason came to greet the two, who were effectively 6 and 5 ranks his superior respectively. This visit was only expected by the Colonel who had been told but not told anyone else at the base.

Meanwhile, the convoy carrying the Il Korean (if you use plain Korean, just say so) Vice President was let in by the soldiers. He seemed authentic enough and the each soldier still did have their FAMAS just in case. a VBL directed the convoy to where the President was. Aposon tensed up, ready to take out his Beretta 92 should an attempt on his life be made.

OOC: They aren't 100% you are who you say you are. Mostly Paranoia.

The Il Korean Vice-President had a relaxed composure. He had a smile on his face and greeted Vice-President Sumoson. "How are you sir? Pleasure to see you....I am Vice President Hwang." he said. His praetorian agents were armed with pistols and light body armor.

"I be con-ten-t tan-k you. I hope tat we may reach a com-p-romise p-leasan-t for all in-vol-ved par-ties." Sumoson answered, his Uir accent flooded through. Usually his english was better was these were tense times. "I am President David Aposon. I am in char-ge of foreign affair-s an-d defen-ce. Shall we go in-to te main facility?" his accent started to show as he started to speak more.
