In response to this highly trained security crews were designated to each and every civilian vessel. Gun traps, booby traps and special equiptment that self destructed once the user died were issued. The shipbuilding companies were also ordered to mass produce small fishing boat sized remote controlled torpedo boats with one gatling cannon on it. These were designed to be easily captured and for the most part useless. Their main purpose was to bankrupt the enemy. In additon to that all airliners were temporarily commandeered by the government and most South Lizasaurian civilian planes were grounded, all those that remained all had fighter jet escort. The South Lizasaurian leaders declared that flights were suspended in order to save foreign lives, since they were the target, the enemy might end up shooting South Lizasaurian airliners and civilian planes. They also urged all friendly nations to continue their flights to and from South Lizasauria that way air travel isn't fully restricted. Every civilian ship also had mandatory submarine escort.

The nation was outraged and the people were screaming for blood. The names of the deceased were posted and family members of all ages went forth and wept at the sight of the names of their friends and loved ones. First came sorrow, then came anger. Angry remarks were uttered, roses and flowers were put before the names of the lost by their loved ones each bearing the flags of their heritage. A large screen revealed the numbers or dead, missing and wounded. The number wounded and missing dwindled as those their deaths either occurred or was confirmed.
