(NOTE TO READERS: This will take place after the events of the kidnapping thread with Myakka and I. )
With Yui gone, all Kaori could do now was work and love her children she still had. It wasn't easy, everyday she thought of her lost baby. Her first born Yui was her pride and joy. Before her marriage and having more wonderful children she lived for Yui and only Yui. Now she just wanted to work to try to keep her mind off it. When a request for a diplomatic summit came up, Kaori felt pressed to do it her self, rather than leave it to the Sec. of State. She spared no expense to meet up with the dictator, she planned on flying her in, knowing CDA didn't do Air travel, as well as giving her room and board, even though they were coming from widely diffrent spectrums of ideology, and two vastly diffrent countries. It baffled most as to why, but sometimes countries just want to meet across their barriers.

Rosalina arrived. She seldom made long distance state visits her self, but she felt diffrent. "Madam, Kaori, or shall I adress you as Madam Oda? It's a pleasure at last. I'm horribly sadden by your daughters loss, having my own daughter, I'd feel pretty horrible my self. We kept our eyes open but he obviously wasn't found with us."

"Thank you Ms. Rosalina, you can call me Kaori if you wish. I appreciate the sympathy. If we can get down to business, I've done some research, CDA is a very intresting place. You call your self divine, be that as a will, so what is it we can do for you?"

"Well, first, we want were hopping you could align your selves with us. We need allies, not to mention we need military equipment. We want to keep our selves defened. We have a wonderful contract with Kirav, and that we are happy about. But I feel I don't want to burden one country. Few wish to align themselves with dictatorships it seems. Not to mention swift relief from natural disaster. I think our relations with Neo-Ixania have fallen flat. We need some more friends."
(ooc: all respect of course to Neo ;) )

(heh)
"Hmm, understood, very understood. Relations falling flat never keeps a nation reassured. Well I don't see why we can't. We are a free nation like you, with a right to relate to who we please. I understand you don't wish to modernize your country, my parents feel that way about our old farm, as do most Motokatans. But if you need a modern military with out overdoing your Kiravian ally, it's something very feesable. So is the general natural disaster releif. You have plenty of hurricanes and floods it seems."

"I knew I liked Motokata, and you. A girl from humble beginnings. Just as me. You know how it is truly. What ever you can do for us, I wish. If you need a military base I can do it for you. We also have plenty of agriculture if you want to trade. What can you trade for us?"
Motokata
17-09-2008, 04:52
"We have a wide variety of crops, from grains, to rice, to cocoa. I'm not sure how much more natural resources we can use, other than lumber."

"Huh, that's understandable. What about silk? Cotton? We have an abundance of those? we also have many spices and herbs for medicine."
Motokata
17-09-2008, 04:59
"Silk huh? I like, and we ceritanly love our exotic spices. I think we can give a nice trade with those. We can give you whatever you need in exchange. Military equipemnt will be on Motokatan good will."

"Ah you are very kind. One day you must come to CDA, you will be the minority there certainly, but I would give you a warm welcome. I'm very excited to see your country."
Motokata

"I most certianly will visit. Probably just me, I think my husband would be slightly uneased. I'm glad you are excited to see Motokata. Forgive me, but you look as you are ready to go for a swim. Is it really that customary to dress like you do?" Rosalina was in a black bikini which was rather revealing.

Rosalina laughed. "Oh my Dear, no offense taken. We aren't called a bikini state for nothing. Heck some show up stark nude. Women more than men but it happens more than you think. Year round hot temperatures, frequent floods and rain storms, we don't have much in the way of cloths. Farmers ware overalls yes, often shirtless, girls and boys alike. Some also like Kimonos we've imported. Which reminds me, Kimonos are a hot commodity if you have them by all means, export them."

"I'm glad. I certianly wasn't intending to insult you. Every nation has a culture quirck. Even I'm your backcountry farmer who wears her overalls half-naked. Motokata is pretty warm year round as well. The northern part is really chilly. What about your country?"

17-09-2008, 05:23
"Oh we're pretty much warm through the entire country. Only high mountains see snow."
Motokata
17-09-2008, 05:27
"I see, it makes sense, Ms. Rosalina. I think I too can dress like that upon my visit to CDA. Especially if it's so warm. And I would love to meet your own daughter, I bet she's adorable and strong if she's like you."

"She's actually born from a surrogate, but she is a lovely child. And I'm sorry to bring up again, but your lost child was very lovely too."
Motokata
17-09-2008, 05:33
"Ah you're very sweet. My Yui was wonderful. I miss her. Hold tight to your little one, you never know when something can rip her away from you. Protect her."

"I will. With all my strength, I will keep my daughter safe. My if I had to face your child's captor, I would kill him my self."
Motokata
17-09-2008, 05:37
"You had no idea what I wanted to do to him. But that's not important right now."

"You're right, I'm sorry to bring it up. Come, tell me a little more about Motokata."
Motokata

"Well Motokata is pretty tame but still rather dangerous in some parts. I wouldn't advise anyone on wandering deep into the south jungles by themselves with out protection. The cities and towns are relatively safe but we still have our crime problems. But on the more positive side we have thriving business. I know you your self are more Socialist in your leanings which I suppose is better than communist, but you are a girl of God, that I can tell. Motokata has a free religion policy so long as they behave. We aren't really a democracy, were something like an autocracy, I have most to all the power, I'm in office for life basically, unless the entire nation calls for me to be removed, but it has to be everyone.
I've told you about our climate and natural resources, and you know we are 90% Asian-human. We have a few more like you scattered but not many. We have thriving industries in weapons development and auto manufacturing. We also started a new Space Defense Research Program. You know as well as I do that one has to protect themselves."

"Yes, I am a socialist. You are a capitalist, aren't we a match made in heaven." Laughter from Rosalina escaped. "Well Motokata sounds like a good solid country, with it's share of problems. Even CDA has it's own share of them. But I can see we think the same, we both belive in a long simple leadership with out the fears and worries of who the next schmoe will be."
Motokata

"I can agree with that. I really fell into her by default, with my late husband's passing and all."

"Ah how terrible. Losing a loved one it tough, I had a sister at one time but that's all in the history books now."
Motokata

Kaori didn't feel like she should press for the history lesson, so she left it at this: "I'm very sorry. I think we have more in common than we thought we would. Come, I'll give a small tour of Motokata. Would you care to fly, or we can go by car."

"Car would be nice. I also hope to engage in some of your local culture."
