Bulgislavia

(OOC: Ok firstly huge appolygies for being absent especially during such an eventful time in Bulgislavia.... its just that SPORE is so addictive :P anyway Can we just fast foward to the victory of the Bulgislavian Party of Labour?)

confused fighting continued through the month. the fanatics were dying out quickly though it was never descovered who was aiding them or controlling them. Omar Milencu was wrong in his assumption that the fanatics fought for him. the BCF or government forces collapsed quickly on all fronts and they were forced into exile where Nicolae has formed a government in exile. The Bulgislavian Party of Labour has captured Terevesti and he appears to have the support of the majority of the populace. However some pockets of resistance still remained

Some loyalists (Mainly the foriegn forces who supported the BCF) has taken some territory with the aim of re-instating the BCF

Omar's foriegn supporters were still controlling some area's to the north of the country on the border of Bulgia but with Bulgia supporting Dinu and his party of labour Omar's power base will quickly crumble

the fanatics are all but wiped out

Currently the BPL controls most of Bulgislavia

............................... The Economy ..........................................

The Economy is in ruins and the country is on its knees. the cities have been bombed, fanatics sabataged the factories, its revolution torn and war torn. There were already food shoratges before the war's but now the situation is much worse. its a huge humanitarian crisis
The country still has energy shortages with frequent power outages. the army is poorly trained and currently it consists of volunteer militia who support the BPL

..............................................................................................

Dinu was standing at the ransaked Palace of Milencu. (Under the old Milencu dictatorship the gifts they recieved from foriegn visits were shown here but after thier overthrow is was ransaked by the population)

He was on the balcony. before the square below him was 30,000 people with another 60,000 citizens squezed into the avenue further up

"My fellow Bulgislavian's, we have suffered for a long time, everything is a mess and the job ahead of us is truly overwhelming but we cant give up, I love Bulgislavia, I love communism. I truly believe the two can go together and work well. We can all work well. We have to pull this country up off its knees, we will rebuild. This is the beginning of a new era. Who is with me in the grand task of standing beside the party of labour, standing beside thier nation to construct a great place to live a great country. Things are going to be different...." There was an eruption of cheering and applause

Dinu was only 28 yearsold and he was not every charasmatic infact he was shaking quite a bit during that short address but what he lacked in charisma he had in popularity and support

"Get a message out to all factions in the country to peacefully lay down thier arms, leave thier country and send a representative to a conference on a peaceful arrangement. I dont want any war" said Dinu to one of his advisors

Within 20 minutes all factions had been contacted with the message

#1 An immediate end to all hostilities

#2 Send a representative to a conference in Terevesti on a peaceful end to the crisis and a talk on all of the countries problems and its future

#3 for all foriegn factions to leave Bulgislavian territory (Though it is not nessasary for any factions that have the approval of the BPL)

Official Communique from the Volzgradien Government

The peoples of the United Republics of Volzgrad give the new Communist Bulgislavian Government their full approval and support. In fact, we are currently readying for a national parade celebrating this momentous occasion. With your nation secure. 4000 of the 8000 Volzgradien Railway Guardsmen stationed in Bulgislavia will return to Volzgrad. The remaining troops will act as peacekeepers and as humanitarian aid workers. As we speak, a fleet of 20 Fulier class Aerohaulers are being readied to deliver food, clothing, building materials, and weapons to Bulgislavia. If possible, we request that our troops remain in Terevesti as they have already set up a formidable base of operations within the city.

I myself will be attending the conference along with 3 of my advisers and 10 guards. If you have any requests or questions, then feel free to ask comrade.

Signed,
