“My king the RIAF has just confirmed that Lamonian aircraft has entered our airspace.”

“Thank you is everything ready for the arrival Lamonian president and his staff?”

The King asked?

“Yes sir”

“Upon arrival they will be brought here and the first of the meet and greet and then lunch.”

“After that is the introduction of your staff for the trade and alliance talks, after they will be shown to their room before the state dinner tonight.”

“Good I’m glad everything is in order.”

The king turn to see who was coming in the room and seen his queen.

“My king, my husband stop harassing the help about the details everything will be fine. I know it has been awhile since we have had guests, everything is going to be fine you worry too much sometimes my love. You mother had the same problem with your father too. Like father like son.”

The queen smiles and gently grabs the king’s hand and walks out to the garden.

OOC: Imbrinium, this will be our thread for the "Lamoni explores the World" visit. Agreed? Oh, and Neo-Ixania will be playing Adelaide.

IC: LAF 1 had just entered the airspace of Imbrinium, and met the radio challenge of the air controllers, receiving a heading for their destination. The two most important people on the aircraft were President Stinson, and his wife, Adelaide. This was their first stop on their world tour, and they were both excited to see a nation that wished to ally themselves with Lamoni. If the terms were acceptable, then they would even be agreed to.

Looking out of one of the windows, President Stinson saw the countryside of Imbrinium as the Presidential Silenkov SL-12 aircraft ( http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=563130&highlight=Lamoni ) moved farther into the interior of the country. It looked like a beautiful place, he thought.

"LAF 1 to Imbrinium ground control, requesting clearance to land." The pilot was as professional as always, and was looking to get his charges safely on the ground after the flight.

"What do you think of what we have seen so far, Addy?"

Adelaide looked out the window of the plane to see the rolling plains of Imbrinium with a smile fixed upon her face while her mind was fixed upon visions of what she could expect during her visit. It was nice to know that she would be able to go on this world tour with the man she loved because she had always wanted to take part more in his work instead of just being a mere office girl; she wanted to be involved. "I'm quite content with what I've seen so far, Andy, and I must say it's rather beautiful so far; I'm just happy to know I'm able to come along on your tour."

Adelaide adjusted herself on her seat and smiled. "I just hope we can see some of the nation after all the political parts have been dealt with. I think we can have some fun in these nations that we will be visiting; we must take advantage of it all."

"I agree, Addy. All work and no fun would make for a dull trip. Hopefully, we will not only be able to learn from these new experiences, but also to have fun while doing so." Andrew went over to his wife, and kissed her. "And just think of all of those new beds that we will get to try out, Addy." Stinson flashed the sly grin that only his wife ever got to see, and the two of them stood near the window, watching the land roll by underneath them.

“LAF1 this is Cormond international tower you are clear to land on runway left 2 descend to 2000ft and hold. Upon landing you will be escorted to Cormond RIAF airbase side to off load.”

The queen Itala Amanda asks her husband.

“My dear is president bringing his wife along?”

“You know I believe he is I don’t know for sure but I believe he was”

“I surely hope so I would love to show someone around our country and culture of our people.”

“OH, don’t forget my queen we have the ball tomorrow night so if the first lady does come she may not be prepared for a ball.”

“I haven’t forgotten, wonderful I get to do what I do best and that’s shop” with a huge grin on her face.

“That’s fine my dear Itala but this time please don’t out shop your guard detail like last time,” the king said jokingly.

“I’ll try but no promises”

“LAF1 this is Cormond international tower you are clear to land on runway left 2 descend to 2000ft and hold. Upon landing you will be escorted to Cormond RIAF airbase side to off load.”

"Roger, Cormond International Tower. Descending to 2,000 feet, and holding for landing." The co-pilot was busy announcing that they were ten minutes from landing in Imbrinium, and President Stinson settled down to one of the comfortable chairs and strapped in for landing. While he was looking forward to this first part of their multi-national trip, he could wait for the plane to land.

The SL-12 smoothly landed at the appropriate time with no trouble; which could be expected from a new aircraft which was on it's first non-test flight. When the aircraft reached the place that it was meant to stop, President Stinson unbuckled the seatbelt, and stood waiting for when he would exit the aircraft in the presence of his wife.

It did not take long at all for Stinson to feel the warm and tender hand of his wife taking hold of his and to see the pearl white teeth of his wife's smile while her lovely eyes gazed upon his face while her hair, luscious and well kept, blew a little in the wind. Adelaide felt happy that she was finally able to plant her feet upon the soil of Imbrinium and was hopeful to have a good time in a nation she never once visited before. As a child, she would have heard her teachers tell her about how there were so many nations in the world and how some of those nations operated very differently from the Ixanian Empire. Being in Inbrinium made her remember those childhood days. "I'm glad that we are finally on our feet and on the soil of Imbrinium! It's about time...I'm hopeful to see new places and meet new people."

She adjusted her suit before smiling; Adelaide had chosen to wear a simple but dignified business suit for this visit. She smiled at her husband before walking around a little to scan her surroundings.

A gentleman walks up the LAF 1 to greet the honored guests in the background a band plays the Lamonian anthem.

The gentleman walks up the red carpet with royal honor guards on either side of it and awaits the president to walk down the steps.

There are crowds of waving people in the back ground taken pictures and news crews reporting the arrival of the Lamonian president.

President Stinson walked down the red carpet after his Vremya Guards (OOC: think US Secret Service) had checked to make sure that there were no threats. The Vremya Guards took his security very seriously, Stinson knew, and he didn't argue with their procedures.

He could basically see what amounted to an airport, (though the honor guards certainly did their job of LOOKING impressive) and those were mostly the same the world over, he knew. Still, it was his first time in Imbrinium, so maybe he would see something different. The familiar strains of "Lamoni, motherland, we love thee" were being played; and despite the fact that it was part of the diplomatic protocol for a visiting head of state, he liked the fact that they were playing it for HIM.

Stinson could feel his wife following him, and he smiled and waved for the cameras. There was going to be a lot of that on this global trek, he knew, and it would help to enhance the image of the Free Republic, which was the whole point of the tour.

Still somewhat lost in thought, President Stinson walked up to the man who was coming towards him, and waited for the man's reaction.

The gentleman walks up to president Stinson and introduces himself.

“Good morning president Stinson I’m Chancellor Maria Gus, I hope you and your wife have had a most pleasant flight to our great country.”

“My I show you to the motorcade the king and queen are both looking forward to meeting with you.”

As the Chancellor turns to escort the president and the first lady the honor guard drew their swords and crossed the over the heads as they walked under. DSS agents opened the doors of the limos that they would be taking to the palace.

As the motorcade pulled off, Chancellor Gus started with what was on the list of to dos.

“First there will be a short informal meeting between you and t he king while Queen Amanda and you wife take in the city and the shops for some shopping for tonight’s dinner and ball.”

“I know there is little time on your tour and we have a lot to show you about our great nation.”

"Greetings, Chancellor Gus. Our flight was most pleasant. Lead on to the motorcade."

Like a good guest should be, Stinson was impressed with the honor guard crossing their swords above the Chancellor, as well as himself, and his wife. With Adelaide in tow, President Stinson followed the Chancellor to the motorcade, where he entered one of the vehicles, along with his wife.

"I am looking forward to meeting the King, even informally, Ms. Chancellor. I'm also sure that my wife will enjoy the time spent with the Queen while shopping for various items in your fine nation. What can you tell me about Inbrinium?"

Adelaide was amazed to see the welcoming ceremony but didn't think it was too amazing since she expected them to have planned some way or two to show them how much they were welcomed. Adelaide warmly greeted the Chancellor with a smile and then walked with her beloved husband towards the limosuine with the smile still upon her face as if it were stuck. "I am rather pleased to be here in Imbrinium and I look forward to seeing more of this nation, Miss Gus. I also do not mind shopping with Her Majesty although I do hope I get a chance to meet the King and learn about him. My focus during this world tour is to make new friends and learn new things."

Adelaide took her seat in the limosuine and smiled. "...My husband was rather looking forward to visiting Imbrinium to start our world tour off and I was very happy to hear of his plans to start one. I serve as my husband's secretary so I will often be seen following him and helping him with his work. It's my duty as a secretary, Miss Gus, and I love helping Andrew with his work. It's really fun to spend time with the man you love. Miss Gus...what do you have planned for us?"
