Today in the Upper Forum of Sarrowquand the 6th Speaker Joan Sasane commented upon the unfurling chaos in Gammagusta. She stated that "whilst details are sketchy it is with sorrow that we learn of events that have the potential to shorten so many lives". She also voiced concerns over East Laos's rapid deployment into the area, whilst members of the Inovation party have claimed that such speedy intervention may well forestall further violence. Sasane and other key members of the Conservationist Party have criticised East Laos over the potential escalation of the conflict and willingness to deploy against an unknown foe.
1st Speaker Silinky failed to comment on this issue and her party, the Speakers party, suggested that they were waiting for more details on the situation.

Nathan Tiberus Fields Sat at his desk looking at some documents that have found their way to his office, The door across the room opened up and a sleek, clean, and fancy female assistent walks in and drops a freshly copied paper on his desk above a letter from the World Assembly and walks out.
"How on earth did my family ever handle so many problems?" whispered an annoyed President.
Nathan Read the letter carefully and the intercepted messages to the nation of Midland, he thought it over and pulled his laptop towards him and began to compose a message to the regional president of Midland.
Encryption Level: 1 [Maximum]
From: The President of Razorl, Nathan Tiberus Fields
To: The Regional President of Midland
I have heard of your situation and have come to decide to send peacekeeping forces to your heavily populated areas on your command. However I wish to inform you that the griffencrest corporation should have an eye kept on them for reasons I wish not to worry you with for the moment.
Now I shall send you the data for the forces.
Peacekeeping forces shall be comprised of:
300 soldiers equiped with low grade military arms
7 C-130 Hercules transports
and 1 Neptune-Class Cruiser
Encryption Level: 1 [Maximum]
" And now back to the pressing political problems of my life " whispered Nathan under his breath.
(OOC: you ask how razorl intercepted the messages? No one Even tried to encrypt the messages!
To: The Government of Midland.
From: The Ursavian Ministry of War.
We are willing to aid your country against this rebellion. We will, however take no actions outside civilian centers in need of military protection until we are given more information on this strange, new terrorist group that is so willing to cut lives short. Due to your situation, a military programmed under the code-name Guardian Angel has been set in effect as of two hours ago to your country’s territory. Thus 3,000 Ursavian Naval Marines have been dispatched in order to secure an area where any and all civilians can find refuge from the war that is now attacking your country.

Thank you, all who have lent a helping hand to my people in this time of need. I, as of September 4th completely shut down the entire region for WA officials to Investigate. My country has been hit by terrorist attacks from a neighbor country. We are Members of the WA but we can't find relieve. as of August 30, 25,497 citizens have innocently died and hundreds of thousand misplaced and homeless.
The moment that letter had been wired, men were coming on to the beaches of Gammagusta and making setting up an impromptu safe-zone on the coast-line. It was being guarded by 3,000 Ursavian Naval Marines who were given optimal equipment given the general climate of Gammagusta. They started setting up machinegun nests, barbed wire, trench-lines, temporary guard towers, and various stations for aid of both soldiers and civilians. The place started to look more like a military fortification more than it did an aid center for any civilians in need.
Once fully set up, a message was sent out.
"Attention to all Midland government officials, civilians, and military personel; an Ursavian aid-station has been set up along Midland's coast-line in order to provide medical aid, resupplying, and possibile relocation if need-be."

The SubRosa analyst assigned to review and give opinion on the doings of the Griffincrest Oil Corporation generally had a lackluster post in the world of the Catawaban intelligence. There was always a lot of intel that moved across his desk. That intel was, however, fairly run of the mill, well comparatively.
Every week the analyst looked at forests and hard drives worth of reports that all said the same thing. Griffincrest invades a small country for oil. Griffincrest forces a small land to capitulate for oil. Griffincrest flattens a small island to drill for oil off its shores. The outcomes and methods were always the same. The analyst supposed that the field operatives and signals technicians could just take the same report and change names, and he'd certainly never notice.
That was until this day. He pulled a Griffincrest communique to Midland off the top of his ever-filling In box. He scanned it, assuming it was much of the same, a demand that the smaller country give up the oil, its shorts, first born, and its little dog too. However half way through, the analyst stopped and started reading all over. He read it over and over, trying to make sense.
His reading became frantic and uncoordinated. The world spun. He clutched at his chest and fell off of his vaguely ergonomic chair. He twitched, shuddering and banging against his cubicle walls. His neighbor, a young man who was assigned to analyze intel coming out of Tanaara, rushed to the older man's side. He tried to understand what was wrong, to help.
The old man twitched, shook, and slowed. The words "It must be a trick...this can't be possible," were the last the young man ever heard his neighbor say. Even though he knew it to be a breach of protocol, the younger analyst pulled the crumpled communique out of the man's cooling, still hand. The young man read quietly. Befuddled he set the communique down and looked at his deceased coworker.
The other analysts were now gathering. One, brave enough to break the silence, spoke. "What...what happened?"
The young man looked up slowly. "That gorram Griffencrest...Bob couldn't take it...it was unexpected and diametrically unlike what he'd been used to...Griffencrest killed Bob with kindness."
