Only 1 week had passed since the death of the Emperor; the autopsy had revealed that he died from a stroke. His daughter, princess Dora who would soon be crowned Empress had returned from Neo-Ixania. It seemed that everything had just stopped: stores were closed, public transportation hadn't been working for days. The industry was still running, though. The streets were filled with mourning people, especially at the gates of the Imperial Palace.

The princess hadn't been able to do anything after she had heard the news of her father's death. Now however, she thought, was the time to get things done. She wrote an open letter to the leaders of the world and started making the arrangements for her father's funeral.

You are most welcome to attend my father's funeral, to be held here in Neu Berlin, and the crowning ceremonies. My father was a beloved leader of his people, he saw us through a bitter civil war, and made the Empire what it is today.

Accommodation will be arranged at the Royal Plaza Hotel, a five-star hotel in the middle of the city.
