This isn't my day! (Open, MT/PMT Attn Blackhelm Confederacy & VATO/Lynion Allies)
OOC: Note for everyone: Lynion is going to leave this world because it can no longer support itself on Earth. It happens towards the end of the war or during the last part of the war. I'm trying to make this the last war Lynion will have.

Jack of Spades, Matthew King was sitting at the airfield on the island which was home to the Imperial Fungi and its weird and wonderful creatures. He looked around as an Interceptor suddenly landed and quickly turned off its engines. Matthew got up from his chair as the pilot rushed over from the Interceptor and over to Matthew. He looked up as the pilot collasped before him.
"What the blazes is going on?" demanded Matt as he picked up the pilot.
"Griffincrest warships have entered our waters and are preparing to engage and invade Fungi," replied the pilot.
"That's suicidel! Even I know its suicidel! What about VATO?" snapped back Matthew.
"We intercepted the transmission that they sent to VATO and it was only a question mark," replied the pilot.
Matthew looked enraged as a pair of Wedge Tailed Eagles landed beside him. He looked up to the creatures as he turned to face the nearby minators. He stormed off to the radar station. It was just like what had happened. Radar was picking up Griffincrest warships about to storm Fungi.
"Get me VATO," ordered Matthew.
Vamperial Order HeadQuarters
"Now, if we can get off political for a moment," started Vamperial Headmaster Lee. "It has come to our attention that Griffincrest has decided to storm the Imperial Fungi and refuse to come to our requests. Because of this VATO Forces are to protect Fungi for possible invasion! When the treaty was signed, we all agreed that we aid each other in times of war and that day has come!" finished Lee.
"Does anyone oppose to this?" asked Vamperial Grand Headmaster Woff.
"Just one question sir," asked a Vamperial Knight as he stoo up. "With respect sir, I admire Lee and I'm not questioning anything, nor VATO nor the Vamperial Order. However, I would like to ask how are we going to bring them down?" finished the Vamperial Knight.
"Griffincrest Forces have refused to our terms and conditions. They've refused to apologise to Fungi and they aren't going to take the only chance they'll ever have. Their greed for oil will lead them down to path of destruction. The three orbital batteries, Werewolf, Vampire and Diablo are in position and they just reported in they have their targets fixed. They will strike from the heavens and sink the enemies capital ships, the Giant Squids and Sea Serpents will engage the enemy fleet by dragging down the fleet and those that survive the onslaught will be eaten by the Great White Sharks," replied Lee. "That is how we will fight them and this will be their end to bullying younger nations!"
News Bulletin in the Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion
"This is Sandra Williams reporting live on Lynx Radio Network," started a female voice over the radio. "Just moments ago, a conflict has arosed after Blackhelm Confederacy Forces have refused to leave Fungi waters after demanding Fungi to hand over a large percentage of its reserve oil. Because of this, VATO Forces have gathered together to defend Fungi from possible invasions. Its not known what the Military have said, but I've being informed that many men are flocking to enlist in the army, navy or air force to do their bit for their country. However, its being rumoured that an unarmed civilian ship was sent out to greet the enemy forces. Then again, its just a rumour. This is Sandra Williams reporting live from VATO HQ for LRN," finished the woman's voice.
Somewhere inside Fungi Waters
A small civilian ship had stopped in front of Griffincrest Warships. The day was young as a pirate got out to speak to Griffincrest fleet. He wasn't interested in talking or making a pact with BC, he just wanted to avoid another war over something as stupid as oil. He got onto the radio as he prepared for a possible boarding on his small yacht. He looked around as he placed several C4 chargers around the ship.
"This is Macus Zee calling Griffincrest Fleet," started Macus. "I've being asked to request that you turn around and leave Fungi Waters, airspace and its island. I know you're after the oil based here, no-one is an idoit and the Fungi weren't born yesterday. They're willing to let you go if you take this only warning and go back to your homeland,"
Macus prepared the mutli flares as he was willing to give his life to make the position of the enemy fleet. Griffincrest Forces were being asked to turn around and if they didn't, then the Fungi were unlikely to give quarter to their enemies. This wasn't the first time the Fungi did this nor did they took anything as a surprise. VATO Forces had already gathered in Fungi and now, it was only a small time before the war really started.

"Admiral! VATO is in trouble. Bring your fleet to Fungi." shouted the Defence Minister across the room.
"Now thats sudden," replied the Admiral, who was beginning to drink his coffee.
"By all cost, prevent our allies from being defeated. Minimize casualties."
"Right away, Sire."

The newly acquired destroyers, battleships and aircraft carriers approached the Fungi waters. The seas was peaceful and quiet, but the Admiral knows that this will not be the case hours later.
"Contact VATO. We're here. For war."

Greetings,
In a few more hours, our fleet will be near to your coast. Awaiting orders.
Good luck.
Admiral William Timothy
Packs of Giant Squids and Sea Serpents were heading towards the frontlines as they suddenly stopped. They looked around as they noticed ships sailing towards them. One of the Sea Serpents ordered the others to halt as it went to investigate the identiy of the warships. The serpent rose out of the waters like a towering statue as its head looked down upon the warships. Its two tentalces traced along the water line as it started to talk.
"You can't be the enemy," hissed the serpent it said as it pointy ears and scaly skin made itself noticible. "The enemy is further north. Hmmm...you must be Royal British States Naval Warships. You seem lost at the moment. My name is Kev by the way,"

"God, what a monster are you! From Fungi, I presume"
"And you are?" asked Kev as two other Sea Serpents formed up behind him. "If its VATO you want, then dock in..."
Kev looked up as a Vamperial Aerial Destoryer joined them. It was a flagship of a small squadron of other aerial destoryers as another six joined it.
"RBS Forces, we need you to dock at Johnson Harbour so we can give you an update," came a voice over the intercom.

"Right away."
The RBS fleet sailed towards the habour.
The Admiral landed and looked around.
"Quit your hollering" bellowed Mark from his lookout post on the "Tanker" Adventus
"Quick come here, there be trouble abrewing down in the Vampy/Fungai lands"
came a quick reply from somewhere down below
"right right---" was all Mark could say before he hopped down from his post, landing with a thud amounst various soft supplies and equipment "better tell the captain now wont we?"
Before he could get an answer, mark broke into a run as he headed to the bridge
"Hi ho captano" said the two of them
"What do you two want this time, and please for the love of god tell me you kept your pants this time" Said Admiral Ross
"We didnt go anywhere near the tables sir" Said Jack in a cheeky voice
"Ya we didnt" said Mark
"Then what be your problem"
"Well, i picked up various radio chatter, and from the news and some unorthodox sources that Vampy/Fungus lands are in some trouble"
"SHould we move on over and check it out sir?"
"Aye, Hoist the flags, prepare the speakers, and change course we gotta check this out" Replied the admiral as he sipped from his drink
Not to long later the "merchant fleet" moved into the edges of Fungai waters, south of where the GC was at.
ooc: as you can tell, things are very lax on my ships >.> <.<
"Admiral William Timothy I presume?" asked a vampire. "My name is Vamperial Headmaster Lee King. I'm in command of all VATO Forces here in Fungi while the fight is waged. Now, I need to know your numbers so I can figure out where to station your warships," finished Lee as he walked with the admiral along the docks.
Along the northern Coastline
More packs of Sea Serpents and Giant Squids were massing nearby as they came across some unknown warships. It wasn't BC warships because they were further north. Three sea serpents rose from the waters as they towered over the warships. One came forward as it bowed its head towards the height of what seemed to be the flagship. It looked around as its tentacles traced along the waterline.
"Which nation are you from?" asked the sea serpent.
"Holy fucking shi---" was all one careless seaman could before he fell of the side of one of the escorts upon seeing talking seafood.
"Holy fucking..." was the collective statement of all those on the bridge, they expected to see werid things but not talking fishes! though some where eager to point out they wernt fishes so to speak, but squids and serpants.
From a speaker new the front of the tanker a voice emitted after coughing a few times
"Oh hallo thar, we hail from the Mostly Isolationist Nation of Kewen,we heard a little news reel and came by to check out whats all the trouble about, i take it you be the resident Fungi/Fungai errmm...Sea Creatures/Navel Force?"
Royal British States

"I have 5 destroyers, 3 battleships and 2 aircraft carriers."
The serpent bought its tentalces about as it lifted the sailor that fell over the side of the railings (OOC: I presume he went overboard) as it gently placed him on the deck of the warship. It raised its tentacles away from the ship as it avoided any contact with any other human.
"This is the 10th Pack Fleet," replied Kev. "This is Fungi waters. Hmm...I've being told to keep an eye out for Allied Forces. Hmmm... I'm not sure what to do with allies. Head towards the nearest port. Most of the island is swarmming with VATO Forces,"
Back at the Port
"Alright," replied Lee. "You'll be fighting alongside the 5th Imperial Aussie Fleet. They're stationed on the west side of the coast which is 10 kilometres from here. They'll be at around 40 to 60 warships strong. Be warn, those guys can be slightly crazy during battle and they will protect you if you need it,"
"Aye, we will do just that, thank you for the directions ermm... Fungi Pack Fleet"
The Kewen Fleet began to head vaugly in the direction of a Port

OOC: Now we're going to wait for BC.
The harbour was busy as Imperial Australian warships left the harbour. Among them were eager sailors and marines prepared themselves to engage a fleet that is rumoured to be stronger than there own. Moral was average as the light cruisers, destoryers, frigates and heavy cruisers ventured to their battle position.
Lee looked around as an allied fleet was docking into the harbour. The coastal batteries watched them closely as the last of Lynion aerial warships took off to their battle position.
OOC: We can only position our ships and wait for BC to come.
The kewen fleet sailed into the harbor, most of the weapons on the Flagship were concealing giving it the appearance of a small oiltanker with a airstip and light defenses, while the escorts on the other hand consisted of 5 Piji Arsenal Ships 8 Battle Axe Crusiers and a hidden complement of Hopper Micro subs on the underbelly of the tanker.
The fleet slowed down and avioded any of the fungi creatures and steered clear of the other warships to an extent as a small 12 meter steel hull boat flew from the top of the tanker and plonked into the sea before speeding off into the direction of a suitible dock, it seemed the kewen fleet was unwilling to ancor down right now.
Lee excused himself from the RBS admiral for a few seconds as he went over to the Kewen officer nearby. He looked down on him as he helped him up onto the docks while he scanned the warships. It looked fairly simple and they would be part of an Imperial Australian detachment.
"You must be the Kewen commander? Listen I'm sorry but we're going to be quick," started Lee. "I'm Vamperial Headmaster Lee King commander of all VATO Forces stationed here. Now, I need you to sail your ships alongside the VATO 6th Armada. You'll be expected to protect the capital ships as well as the dreadnought that'll ounch holes through their capital ships. Don't forget, its got four aircraft carriers so don't be scared to ask for support," finished Lee.
"Quick to the point, i like tvhat" stated ross as he brushed back his black hair
"Simply put, whats in it for us, were what you would say a mercenary state were isolationist when it suits us."
"I understand your mercs," replied Lee. "However, for the first part of the battle I need extra hands to escort the main capital ships to the battle. From there, break off in packs and hunt down the enemy warships. Air support will always be on standby for anyone. The battle will start...when the batteries open fire," finished Lee. "Payment will be close to USD$1 billion if you can escort the warships to their position and then hunt them down in large packs,"
"Hmm,seems like a fair enough offer, well you have yourself a deal there when do we leave and whats the ETA to the fireworks?"
"You leave as soon as you get back to your squadron. The ETA is about an hour which is enough time to get those capital ships in place," replied Lee in a calm voice. "Most of the ships are already heading out to their position. Good luck man,"

Claudius Griffincrest smirked a bit as he looked at the reports of several tiny nations beginning to assemble their miniature fleets in defense of a nation quite apparently mad eup of mutants. He issued an order to the Admiral of the First Fleet, Lucius Ironclaw, to be rebroadcasted throughout the rest of the fleets present. Any subhuman was to be treated as such and destroyed. Subhuman prisoners will not be taken. Human ones, however, will be treated as usual during a Griffincrest invasion.
Meanwhile, in space, the Griffincrest Orbital Forces were beinning to strike, blinding VATO forces prior to the strikes on the surface. Hundreds of Griffincrest Hunter satellites, coupled with dozens of solar sailors, began to move on the satellites and other assorted batteries, especially the ones from Lynion. Thousands upon thousands of missiles would soon be streaking through the cold empty space, and smashing into the enemy orbital assets, which would soon be no more than large pieces of junk, floating down to earth.
Back on Earth, four Griffincrest fleets were getting ever closer to Fungi. At the same time, another two fleets had broken off and were moving towards Lynion herself. This was a truly massive deployment for Griffincrest, 3/5 of her total military was sunk into the conflict. It was felt, however, that this would be necessary. Victory here would open up several new oil fields, as well as force the conquered nations to use Griffincrest oil, thus making up for cost of the deployment.
Hundreds upo hundreds of ships bobbed up and down over the waves. The larger ships in both strike forces, the one headed to Fungi as well as the one headed to Lynion, began to arm their Khan missiles. With a range of several thousand kilometers, they would be able to fire several volleys before any VATO fleets could return. The conflict would be over quickly, of that, every Griffincrest admiral was sure. How many men and women from the nations of VATO would need to be killed before that could happen, however, was another story.
Before the fleets met, Admiral Ironclaw sent one last message, in an attempt to stop the bloodshed before it began.

To All Nations Involved,
Stand down. This is not your fight, all we ask for is thirty percent of their oil. Unless you wish to see your fleets shattered, soldiers and sailors massacred, and soon your nations destroyed, you will attempt to convince the beasts of Fungi that the oil is not worth this war.
Thank You,
Lucius Ironclaw

For too long has the Griffincrest Corporation preyed on the small, oil-bearing nations of this world. We hereby declare that so long as the Imperial Fungi exists, we shall support them to the fullest extent. We have lost one weather observation satellite due to missiles detected to have been launched by the Griffincrest Orbital Forces. May the forces of Imperial Fungi never surrender.

In Lynion
"As of this day, Vamperial Law has being enforced after enemy warships have being sighted coming towards Lynion," started a females voice over the radio. "Because of these actions, High King Vamp was forced to return to Lynion while leaving his grandson King Taishi Ci, in Roma V. Vamp returned only to be greeted by a deserted port city and no Royal Family except for the Imperial Guardians. It was said that last night, Lynscert Island picked up heat signatures over Lynx Island which can explain the sudden dissappearance. Eye witnesses have reported that something out of a Star Wars movie was seen abuducting much of the population on Lynx Island. However, claims by Vamp have clearly rebuked that it isn't something before should be worrying about." The female's voice stopped for a moment. "Because of the recent crisis, men, teenagers have being flocking Lynscert Island to join the military ranks to help repel the enemy forces. This is Sandra Williams reporting live from Lynscert Island,"
Volzgrad
04-09-2008, 02:28
For too long had the Griffincrest Corporation raped nations of their oil and natural resources. No matter the cost in lives and materials, they WOULD be defeated. The Volzgradien Liberation Navy would make sure of that. Across countless ports and docks, the mighty Volzgradien Fleet massed for this battle of epic proportions. Countless, aircraft carriers, dreadnoughts, destroyers, frigates, submarines, and even the Volzgradien Airships were now sailing out toward the open oceans of Fungi to do battle against the Arch-Capitalist foe.
"If we can hold for 14 hours!" shouted Vamp as he entered the Vamperial Order.
"Sire they're not coming! It's just a bloody legend!" snapped back a Vamperial Kinght.
"Sire, something has entered the Solar System," replied a runner. "Its very faint but it looks like something is on its way,"
Vamp turned to the Vamperial Knight as Lee, Jian and Woff gathered with him. Vamp suddenly cough for a moment as something was attempting to get out of his system. It wasn't a happy sight but something was trying to get out of him and it wasn't vomit.
"We need to hold for 14 hours!" shouted an extremely deep voice as Vamp got up. "14 hours and we will be gone. And while we're at it, we'll take those BC warships and give them to the ocean floor to play with! Now, make preparations for any possible attempt to invade us,"
Vamp went back to his normal self as a report came in. He sat down on one of the chairs as he cupped his head for a few moments. Jian, Woff and Lee read the telegram as Volzgrad was coming to Fungi aid. If Fungi and Volzgrad could become friends, then they wouldn't have to worry about the brothers and sisters they were leaving behind.
"I'll make it so we can hold for a day," replied Woff as he left the room to prepare Lynion of a possible invasion.
"I'll go down to the radar station and make sure our SOS gets out to the people from the stars," replied Jian as he left for the Radar Station.
Lee looked at Vamp as he waited for a response.
"Volzgrad can help us turn the tide of this war and so can our brothers and sisters," replied Lee. "I've got faith in you Vamp because there was no other way we could've repel the Japanese Forces in 1942,"

Aboard the aircraft carrier CNS Raul Enchante
Off of Catawaba
Fleet Admiral Josiah Starkey set down his reading glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Worse than you thought it could be, eh, sir?"
Starkey glanced up at his Commander of Air Group, General Matthew Quigley, who was leaning in the hatch way. The admiral waved his CAG in. Quigley came in and perched on the side of his commander's desk.
Starkey leaned back in his chair and pointed with his glasses to the folder on his desk. "That...that pile of...of..."
"Osik, sir?"
"Crude but effective, Matthew." He shook his head and set his glases down before rubbing his face. "I can't believe this. All my years at sea, in the navy...and that..."
Quigley shrugged. "Lynion's known for being unorthodox, sir."
Starkey lowered his hands and gave his CAG a tired look. "Permission to speak like you weren't a general, Matthew."
Matt snorted. "They pull stuff out of their exhaust nozzles, sir. I'll bet they're fielding Nessie and a schools of prehistoric marco-tuna against the Gee Oh."
Starkey leaned forward and pulled a sheet off the top and handed it to Quigley. The Air Force officer perused the sheet and smirked. "Oh, this is priceless. Heh, right on about Ness..oh, Giant Squids...nice touch, funny how they got some while the rest of the world's barely seen a dozen. And Great White Sharks, probably to break any sort of military decency and eat shipwrecked sailors rather than take them prisoners like civilized people."
Starkey sighed. "How do they domesticate all of these...mindless predators?"
Quigley shrugged and set the document down on the pile. "Who knows?" He got up and turned to the door. "My guess is on 'pulling it out their exhaust nozzles.' I've seen'em do some wierd osik before, admiral. Sparrows that could reach four hundred miles an hour...a freaky bunch of jota that would have the best mage in Cat's Keep scratchin' their head because it don't make any sense."
As Quigley was about to walk out the door, Starkey leaned foward to sit back upright. "Hey, Quigley."
Matt turned his head. "Yes, sir?"
"When did you visit this place before?"
Matt smiled enigmatically. "Oh, it was a long, long time ago." He turned to leave again and stopped. "If yer makin' notes for SubRosa, tell the spooks they ought to look into General Vamp. A little bird told me that he's still at fault for a murder back in '43." With that he walked out of the admiral's cabin and left him with little more than he'd begun with, most of that being questions rather than answers.
Starkey sighed again and plunged back into the intelligence provided by SubRosa, the nickname of the Catawaban Intelligence Service, about this newest conflict. They'd forwarded it to him for his professional opinion and analysis. He thanked God and the Miraade, they weren't going to get mixed up in this one. If the scuttlebutt about General Quigley's sanity were true, his time in this place must have been what sent him over the edge.

"Report!" demanded Vamp.
"We lost Werewolf and Vampire sir," replied the runner. "And those signatures are still a good 11 hours out from Earth's orbit,"
Vamp thought for a moment. He looked around as he realised there might be a few things they could use.
"What about Lynx?" replied Vamp.
"Its still on the other side of the world," replied the runner. "It'll take a few minutes to get here and give us support but we can't get our hopes to high,"
"Have the Lynx send out a distress call to the signatures and pray to God that they'll get here earlier!" demanded Vamp.
"Yes sir," replied the runner as he went back to the Radar Station.
Vamp looked back as he started his thoughts for a moment as Lee and Woff entered the chambers again. He looked up as he wondered if civilians were being evac.
"Most of the population has fled further south to Australia for the time being. However, we do have a proposition that's being given to us," replied Woff. "The Pirate Alliance is willing to throw everything they've got against BC to hold them off from invading Lynion,"
"Tell them they can, but also tell them I doubt we'll get through this alive," whispered Vamp as he looked out into the Union capital. "Is it possible for me to get back to Lynion?"
"No sire, the Vamperial Order Headmasters have come to Union to step up our operations. What about the ones in Myakka?" replied Lee.
"Leave them there," replied Vamp. "If we're subjected under BC's foot, then we're to depend on them to retain the honour of Lynion and her people,"

Onboard the Lynx in Space
"Hey Mike," yelled Edward from the control panel. "It seems we got a response,"
Mike came over as he floated past the wondering cup before looking over Edwards shoulder. They were picking up heat signatures just out appearing past Jupiter and worse, they lost contact with the other two orbital batteries. They repeated the distress call before static came over and the holographic device came alive with an image of someone.
"You must be the people we're expecting," started Mike.
"I am Admiral Lankan of the 22nd Lynion Battle Fleet. We've being intercepting your SOS calls when we came to the system a few hours ago. How long can you hold?"
"Well...with all the static and the enemy coming closer, I think 6 hours at the most. Is it possible you could send something to protect us? They'll be after us next," begged Edward.
The figure looked around as he nodded his head.
"We'll send a heavy cruiser to get you out of there," replied Lankan. "In the mean time, we're about 6 hours out,"

OOC: Yeah, I know. And its also the entire Fungi navy they have. Just 400. BC: this is the last fight Lynion has before it leaves Earth. It can no longer support its population on Earth. Simple when you think about it. If you want to make it that this war never happen you can.

Since when a single nation can have thousands & thousands of missiles? Godmode.
I have twenty-five missile cruisers, arsenel ships really, that have a hundred and ninety-two missiles each. That's a grand total of 4,800 missiles. That's just my missile cruisers, mind you. Most of my smaller ships have a two-thirds or a third that number...rough estimates have my missile load of ships above patrol frigate class (I put frigates below cruiser but above destroyers and corvettes) at 12,000 missiles.
So...thousands and thousands...yeah, easily possible with just my navy.
We are in space, there is nothing in the way of our satellites, they merely must be on the same side of the planet.
Actually you don't really need to be on the same side of the planet. If you're really good at your math and knew his satellites vectors and alititude, you could figure out the trajectories to fire missiles into an orbit where they slingshot around the planet and take out his sputniks.
Alternatively...you could use anti-ballastic missiles from your ships to take out his satellites from inside the theater of combat.

This is modern tech...it is satellites with missiles, and solar powered craft with missiles, along with missile armed Soyuz's.

[OOC: GC, I don't fucking care what you say about your military. You still cannot just magically poof thousands of satellites into the area above his nation without resistance. OOC: Now without Lynion, we cant continue this war I presume. Unless BC sends in his "thousands upon thousands" missiles again.
OOC: Sorry for the leave guys, computer went down for a moment. Now, there's two things that can happen.
1) BC: you can either contiune on the war and fight a nation that is going to use everything it has to the best of its abilities and by God, I'm going to use everything to stop the invasion force. BC, take this like a man/woman and do what your greed has forced you to become.
2) BC can admit that this war was pointless and we can go back to the way of life we had. He could also apoligise to Fungi for his/her actions against Fungi.
3) Tip for BC: when you're about to wage war over something as stupid as oil, take some time to think about the enemies tactics. If you don't like their tactics, technology or their use of equipment, then don't even start the war. If you don't like Lynion brothers and sisters coming to their aid, then you take it up with them and not me.

OOC: If BC wants to continue this war just because of 30%/35% of Lynion's oil, then I have to say that BC's stupid.
OOC: He wanted 30% of the reserve oil and Fungi offerd 35% of the oil reserve. This is BC's basic idea of how things should run. BC wants the entire oil supply and if people won't hand it over, then he force it but he doesn't like the taste of his own medicine.

OOC: I'm going to publicly call bull on most of this farce. And most that that baluha'malele'he is going in Lynion’s direction.
And Lynion you have the gall to chastise Blackhelm?
I can kind of see your non human allies - the Kraken, Minotaur, the werewolves, and vampires, but bringing in FT isn't kosher, not when the other player (s) aren't using the same. You really should categories yourself as Fantasy Tech, rather than MT given your heavy reliance on such.
You need to take a tech level and stick with it. You need to lay out the ground rules for your non humans - strengths and weaknesses and stick with them.
You are an 08 nation versus an 06 nation with considerably more experience than you. ( and boy does it show )
and so sorry RBS, Stoklomolvi, thousands of sat launched missiles are very much possible -just as are thousands of ship launched ones - I run PMT - just as RT2 does and from a very small fleet of his, he hit me with a simul -launch of over 5 K worth of missiles- and I answered back with 4.800 plus so no the thousands of missiles is not impossible
and no they don't need to be on the same side of the planet, or overhead, take a look at Catawaba's post about trajectories and such.
And solar sail tech is easily achievable early pmt, the tech basis is sound just needs to be an investment made
And sheesh I can't believe that I’m defending Griffincrest...
ooc: look, i hate griffin creast as h as the next guy.. wait vi dont hate him at all ^.^ but lynion bringing in aliens is GODMODE. pure and simply. RBS thousands upon thousands upon thousands of missles ARE NOT IMPOSSIBLE. look, i have three aresenal ships right now sitting in lynions port right? well them three has 50 missle launchers each which fire 150 missles in total + 20-40 depending on how my tanker is rigged up. Now i have several of these fleets so 200 x 8 = 1600 Cruise missles! now, yea thats not as much as many thousands of space missles, but THOUSANDS of missles are a possiblity.
and im not defending BC because i like him, i am defending him because frankly i find the case agaisnt him to be a totaly shitfest to be honest. his defenese budget could be in the many trillions. and if a nation devoted every cent to missles with its military budget, america right now could probably have that many missles, ggod knows the cold war proved how many missles could be built quick fast.
so yea. thats my two cents and RBS dont call someone who has more experiance AND a incredibly large ass nation who can feild x amount of missles a godmode unless you have the facts to back it up. ask someone like lynion if its really a godmode your the only one going on about his missles. everyone else is going on about his satalites.
main points.
Missle spam is real
Aliens is godmod.
Lay off of BC a bit
get a good case togethor

BC: I've realy stuffed this one up. And for 30% of oil? Gosh thats stupid and Fungi can always get it back anyway. Do you mind if we didn't do it again?
I just don't know why I'm stuffing this one so bloody (censored) up! How about, instead of a war happening, fungi gave you 30% of its oil reserve? I know it sounds like I'm giving in, but I'm 100% convinced I'll stuff it up next round.
RBS: Don't take this the wrong way because everyone needs to know when to fight and when not too. And with something as stupid as this, then its best to think about the long term outcome rather the short term outcome.

Just 30% of Fungi Reserve oil is all you'll get as long we state that this war never happened.
