Ahmed sat on his roof, smoking Haxiz. They looked eastwards across their tiny town,home of a thousand people, and from there they could see the no-mans land between their governers, the Christians, and the land held by the exiled regime of the Dar-ul ummar islamists. every now and again they would hear a crack of gunfire or an explosion. But after fifty years of wars civil and colonial, he, at sixty, had gotten used to it. they knew that the Islamists would never get to their village

But suddenly, an explosion rocked their house, this time from behind them. They looked round, and the house across the road had been destroyed. they heard more gunfire, and Ahmed's son came out with two AK-47s. Ahmed climbed down his ladder and took one of the guns. "Who is it? Is it the Zansk?" asked Ahmed. His son shook his head. "It is our supposed protectors, the Christians. they want all muslims out of their Zone." Said his son.
a tank came rolling round the corner, and the men ran round the corner, dodging an explosion. They joined up with ten other muslim neighbours that had come out to protect their village, and ran westwards.
eventually they came to the market square. The rest of the group stayed behind while Ahmed peered round the corner.
He saw a men in military uniform and crosses on their chests holding guns up to the heads of maybe sixty men.
One of the militiamen paced up and down, barking in arabic;
"You muslims are poison to this land. for a hundred years you do what the fuck you like with us, rape our children and wives, and kill those old enough to fight. You banned our religion, and when we held true to gods word you organised pogroms. Guess what? Now we're in charge. Kill them, men."


Ahmed quickly raised his rifle and shot the leader in the chest. Ahmed's men ran round and started shooting the soldiers, who dragged their hostages behind abandoned market stalls and shot them.

Suddenly a strange whooshing sound came from the sky. It was a jet. Ahmed didn't have time to hide as the air strike shattered his bones and charred what was left of him.

An Undisclosed Location in No-Man's Land

The two members of the Black Guard both looked over the edge of the naturally formed ditch through powerful sets of binoculars as a street was lit up with a lethal and eye-catching airstrike. They had been sent to come in contact with the highest-ranking Christian soldier...without that man even knowing about the plan. That was the hard part about their plan. They only had one uniform like the ones being used by the Christian soldiers and they didn't know who the highest-ranking man was. They'd find out either way though. So both Black Guard members, one clad in a uniform like those used by the Christians, made their way to the town.

It took almost two centuries during the Middle Ages for our nation to be liberated from the filthy clutches of Islam. OOC: Didn't you just come out of a bloody civil war AND a massive invasion? I highly doubt you still have the force to police your own ruin of a nation let alone invade another. Especially when that nation is now under my protection.

OOC: He'll never learn. He never does. When dealing with Hataria, you have to leave sanity and reason behind.

Zanski did not order this attack by our allied militia the Saint Johns Army, but will do nothing to stop it and will carry on building up their army. The Christians in Mhoudia are our closest allies in that country and we will always stand by them. Zanski will send over 6000 civillian volunteers to aid them, but will not directly take part in the offensive.

we accept your monetary donation, but the SJA is armed, equipped and trained by the Zansko-Gharrakan National Forces. It seems you are passionate about this, and you may wish to send civillian volunteers. if you accept this offer the SJA will make a division just for your citizens.

Which he understood, his eyes did things to people's souls, or to their minds or whatever your religion said your conscience was. When he was young, it was compassion, it turned people from careless monsters to heart warmed individuals- it changed them for the better. Yet as he slowly became used to the casual incompetence and meaness of life in general, his look changed. He still looked at people's inner chemicals, their souls, but instead of giving emotion and good feelings- he gave the hard cynical stab of a romantic whose flame was swept under the rug.

The one's eyes who meet his, Paul van der Orange, were technically insanse. A inner light within them ensured that whomever saw his eyes, knew undoubtably that either he answered to a higher power, or that he answered to the voices within his head. Few understood that it was both and also that he didn't understand or feel the need to understand the differences between the two. However, while technically insanse, this man of religion had always several good ideas and at least one great one.

The proposal was up to vote- the vote, ironically, relied on him.

"God wills it." Was his only answer.

Fal Dara, it seemed, had thrown itself in the ring, may God protect the righteous- I suppose.

Fal Dara extends a 'blank check' offer to Zanski in all manners of its country's border integrity- indeed, Fal Dara is willing to go as far and send several battalions of its best troops to ensure that international pressures do not overwhelm the devote.

All we need is a green light.

The Al-Hamasi terrorists had ways of getting to Zanski. Some were ferried there by planes from Muslim nations. Others were moved by truck into Zanski territory. The first thing they did was recruit. When the first terrorists arrived there was not a building on a street with some sort of Islam message on it. They put up posters for a Arab "Human Rights" company. They recieved a flood of new recruits.

Also, my people hate muslims. They are fighting two wars against muslims.(this, and a small rebellion by non-arab muslims inside Zanski proper.) The border with Mhoudia is sealed tightly, with a million soldiers guarding it and minefields everywhere. You would have a very tough time getting through alive. Airports in Mhoudia only accept military flights and selected diplomats.

1200 Hours, Zanski Airspace

A deep rumble and roar filled the formerly calm sky as the lumbering forms of a Volzgradien Aerohauler and a pair of Aerofrigates approached their dropzone. Inside these flying behemoths, countless VCID Stormtroopers readied their equipment and souls for the upcoming Holy War. Recruited entirely from the Catholic Cossacks of Central Volzgrad, they are some of the most devote and powerful soldiers in the world. With a very clear sky and almost no ground obstructions, the Arabs below knew full well what fate was about to come down from the sky. While the two Aerofrigates began to patrol the LZ, the massive Aerohauler began to descend ever so slowly. After what seemed like an eternity, the craft touched down softly on the dirt and parched grass of Zanski. Wasting no time, the massive ramp at the back of the transport gondola swung open, allowing hundreds of VCID Stormtroopers to stream out. In the distance, one could see several other squads of Stormtroopers parachuting out of the Aerofrigates.

While the overall objective was to secure the area and eliminate any hostile Arabs, it was only logical that a base camp needed to be set up. Construction equipment and pre-fabricated buildings were quickly unloaded and set up. Meanwhile, the Stormtroopers began to erect large barriers of razor wire and tank traps to stop any would be suicide bombers or hostiles from get into the compound undetected. Unlike other forces in the world fighting Arab Insurgents, the Volzgradiens cared little for International Law and made no fuss of shooting anyone who looked even remotely suspicious. While the strike force had brought only a few dozen tanks, they had countered this weakness by bringing several hundred Mobile Assault Guns and Infantry Fighting Vehicles. While it was almost laughable to think that these Arabs had AFVs, the Stormtroopers had made sure to bring Recoiless Rifles and other anti-tank weapons just in case.

Zanski has had no part in the assault on Mhoudian terrorists, it is the Mhoudian Christians. They are wholly self-governing and it is much safer to have them on our doorsteps than a bunch of extremist islamist nutters. So we will defend them, and the moderate muslim communities of Mhoudia.
