Igor: "Lets get right down to business than. Our two nations have a very interesting opportunity for cooperation that can lead to great economic benefits not just for the whole world as well as ourselves. What I am talking about is connecting Eurasia and North America through underground railway and superhighway network. Once constructed it will potentially increase trade between our countries 10 fold while at the same time greatly decreasing the cost and time of transporting goods. We can also incorporate this with the great Eurasian line networks that already exist providing much quicker access to goods from North America to Europe and Asia and from Eurasia to North America. We will need to discuss this further with our Eurasian line partners but I am sure most of them will find this beneficial to themselves. This also offers a great prestige building opportunity for your young nation. We should finance and create this project together. Let us connect Chukotka and Alaska, Eurasia and North America.

If you agree to contribute funds to this project we would also like your help jump starting the Great Global Trading Line project that will incorporate the already existing Eurasian line as well as the similar network in North and South Americas that still needs to be created. Some of our "partners" on the continent have already expressed their interest, unofficially for now of course. Think of what kind of money your economy will be making with the goods of 4 continents going through it. We'll need to hold more expansive talks with the rest of the global community on the GGTL project after we finalized the Chukotka-Alaska Line project. What do you think?"

"The idea of a tunnel under the Bering is excellent idea, and idea of a global trade network interest us greatly. Nome could be a good choice for the entrance to Alaska."

"Good, we should probably sign some paperwork today that would establish a joint corporation to manage the project and relocate the necessary funds. My advisors tell me that the project should take no more then two years to complete, they'll build the underground tunnel in sections and then lower those to the ground. But Im sure that the people that we appoint to the corporation's board will be much more qualified on the specifics."

"We have plans for a highway from Nome to Fairbanks. The project could be part of this plan. We have capable people to oversee the project. So, let's begin with the international community."

OOC: Just FYI, the Bering Strait and with an average depth of 160 feet. It'll be possible but expensive and time consuming but well worth it, I think.
