I have been angered by the scaremongering and slanderous ways of the United News Office! We have never said that we are not feeding them, infact they are getting two warm meals a day. We tried brokering a deal with your government, but they did not listen. If they had, over a thousand holidayers would be home in the United Government by now.

This is called THE NEWS! It is not government run (I don't think, and if it is, TUG your an idiot.) it can be distorted if they want it to be, if you go up against the right to free speech, I can rally a whole thirty people to blow your nation into a crisp. Technically no, I was telling someone that they shouldn't encroach on free speech, and also Aletes, As I stated, I was just telling him he was on dangerous ground by protesting against free speech. I personally wouldn't invade people based on that alone (Yet I do invade people lots of times) I was just saying if I wanted to, I could get at least thirty other nations behind me.

OOC: Try reading the actual post, Burtilana was sending his side of the story to a competing news outlet. That is in no way "going against free speech", which lots of nations do everyday. I suggest you stop your lame ass threats against nations that can destroy your nation with ease. Also, I doubt you can assemble any real coalition here because Burtilana is not impeding free speech in any way and even if he was most people don't care. I don't see people lining up to invade any of the hundreds of real dictatorships on NS.

OOC: There's a difference between freedom of speech to preach the news or for outright slander.

I don't know about you but a news channel causing mass hysteria and using flase reports to frighten TUG's population into thinking their being invaded is beyond just slander it's outright outrageous and if anyone is in the wrong IC it's The United News (what an imaginative name) who would most likely IRL be liable for shutdown or a large scale lawsuit.

Hmm, I misread the post, I thought it was OOC for a sec, K. And also, most of the threats I make are either sarcastic or just outright jokes. This is why I always put an OOC: before them. If I were to make a real threat, I would RP it using IC, and also, you wouldn't believe what some people will assemble for ;)
