Fyrfjord, Colony of Borenesia, Kiravian Empire
Fyren Redwōd, Secriatist of State for the Kiravian Empire, waited at the Government airfield outside of Fyrfjord, the second-largest city of Borenesia.
It was amazing that he'd been called out here on two accounts. The firrst was the fact that he hadn't been negotiating any alliances lately. He usually delegated the task to some mid-level diplomat instead. The second was that this meeting wasn't taking place in the Empire's capital, Kartika, as such conferences normally did. Fears of Oceanian invasion had prompted Imperial authorities to cut off travel into the homeland, meaning that Redwood had to schlep out to the northerly archipelago on a naval frigate, and would have to return in much the same manner.
His thoughts were interrupted when he saw the plane approach the airfield. Redwōd straightened his posture next to the waiting limousine, and waited for the Royal British diplomat to land.
