Basically this rp takes place after the end of season two of the show, Heroes. I'm a big fan of the series and its' intriguing plot, characters, and twists. The possibilities are endless for this rp. Each character will have their own story arc which will fall under a general, interweaving arc having to do with an ex-member of The Company, an individual with a deadly agenda that could have global implications. The rest of the story involves normal people around the world discovering their abilities, coping with them, and deciding what to do with them.

You can be anything ranging from an individual with emerging gifts, to a member of the Company, to anything in between. You choose.

Name: David Lasker
Age: 26

Brief Bio: David Lasker is a graduate of film school who is currently working for a production company in NYC as a writer/amateur director. He comes from Albany where most of his family still lives. He is a rather intelligent man but not overly so. From an early age he developed terrible headaches which later developed into migranes. He is currently dating a med student by the name of Claire Henderson.
Abilities: Telekenisis

Age: 17
Height: 6'7"

Eyes: One blue, one purple
Brief Bio: Born to Swedish parents as a British national, Thom is currently a student enrolled in the Welbeck Defence Academy, Leicestershire. With an avid interest in the armed forces since he was young, Thom is studying to enlist in the army as an Engineer when eighteen.
Whilst he has a close group of friends, even they don't know the truth about many strange events that have occurred during his adolescence.
Abilities: Able to change a localised area's temperature (i.e. able to set things alight/freeze them)



'Cos I love Heroes as well, and thought "why the hell not?". It seems the series has very few British "Heroes".

Hair: Black, slightly spiked
Eyes: Green
Brief Bio: Born to a couple from Pelagious, Ustio North, Matt's parents were killed when he was 19. After that, he went off the rails and became involved with criminal gangs. During a chase with the police, he discovered his abilities. He was recently sighted in Stier.
Abilities: Invisibility, Electrokinesis

Name: Karl Thorn
Age: 42
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 138lbs
Hair: Short, Black
Eyes: Blue
Brief Bio: Karl is an American of German oragin. His Grandfather served in the SS but his family fled East Germany in the aftermath of WWII. He shares some of his ancestors beliefs in racial purity, but now with the emegence of humans with powers it has expanded to include the entire human race. He enrolled in the Marines at 19, and served for fifteen years before receiving an honerable discharge. He then was recruited by the company, as a man who could be relied on to 'clean up' after a botched job.
Abilities: None, as he's a geneticly normal human. He is however a profesional soldier.

OOC: I hate to once again be the curmudgeon, but seriously, if you want to do a Heros RP I'm sure there are much better places than here. None of your characters even come from your nation.

Not So Brief Bio: Born in Ireland in 1985, Jerry Moved to america after a short time there, along with his parents, They opened up a multipurpose (We sell just about everything we can) store in a small Town in the aderondacks (SP?) He currently runs the store, and his parents are happily retired in California. He Hunts alot. After gaining his powers, he continued to live normally, but uses them whenever nobody else could possibly see him.

Abilities: Zero Point Energy Field Manipulation (Gravity Gun-like abilities) and Spontaneous Regeneration

Brief Bio: Ivan served in the Russian Army, after serving his time he went home and started a farm, he lived in Moscow until he got the idea to move to the U.S to expand his education,
Abilities: Can turn his skin into metal

Never saw Hero's but it looks good so if i do this RP then maybe I might look into it more

Brief Bio: Charles Kingsmen is a genius level thug from a backwoods town in Kentucky.though never tested,his basic I.Q. is estimated to be at least 235.he has scammed his way to a rich lifestyle of drugs and women,with his friend in crime Ted.easy to anger.
Abilities:can control peoples minds simply by making eye contact.double black belt in 3 martial arts.

Height: 6 flat
Weight: 195 lbs
Hair: Dirty Blond, Shaved
Eyes: Green
Brief Bio: Joined the USMC at 18, he enrolled in scout-sniper training, on a mission in Afganistan he was captured by the Taliban and endured months of torture before being rescued by a Recon team. He lives in NYC and is looking for a job.
Abilities: EXTREME reflexes, to the point of catching a bullet.

Also, Zinaire, if you hate raining on everyones parades - simply don't! I've come across you in a few other threads and you're always pissing on someone's chips as i see it. Kulik's been on since '06, i'm sure he has his reasons for posting it here.

I've lodged a report on the moderation forum, if they feel this is out of place, I assume they'll take action and if they don't, I'll slink away with my tail between my legs (so to speak).

The mods aren't omnipresent. I don't think any have been online.

More to the point, back when the old "Company 1989" Character RP was around and continually at the top of the forums, the mods never got pissed about it, Ergo, I doubt this would be problematic.
