Peoples Republic of Bulgislavia 1946-2008, 62 years of communism over

Bulgislavia
28-08-2008, 11:46
Its been a turbulent couple of days in Bulgislavia. First an invasion beginning on the 24th August

the 25th saw a revolution which forced the ruling Milencu family to flee the capital, but even thier thier escorts left them and effectivly made them fugitives

The 26th saw thier capture where they were transported to the port city of Lomona for trial

On the 27th the Trial began. the Milencu's refused to acknowlege any of their crimes and they were executed by firesquad. The BCF have taken temporary power and have declared an end to 62 years of communist rule
............................................................................................

The trial of the Milencu's were shown on TV around the clock and then at the end of every time the trial was played the photographs of their portraits were shown on TV. Then a message from Alin Popec leader of the temporary government spke

"Remaining Milencu loyalists you can stop fighting now, lay down your arms. There will be an Amesty for any fanatics that lay down their arms by the 1st of September. Stop the fighting and return home to your loved ones"
.............................................................................................

Immediatly hundreds went to the export wharehouses in Terevesti thiere tones of produce were prepared for export. The Bulgislavian's were denied these goods in the name of reducing national debt under the twisted Milencu reign.

Bags of coffee beans, banana's, oranges. they were flooded onto the streets and everyone was celebrated. The street celebrations only being disrupted by the rare gun fire from a rouge Cigouriva.

The Bulgislavian council of Freedom have also announced for the country to hold its first ever free Elections in over 62 years. The Elections are to be held in mid to late September.

They have also began a round up of key political allies of the Milencu's and have them under house arrest. Members of Milencu's family have also been arrested

................................................................

In the city of Timescu (not to be confused with the destroyed town of Timesna) Dinu, the Milencu's adoptive son was still in house arrest

Hundreds of Timescu citizens were outside his house holding candles and his picture close to thier hearts

"Let Dinu go! Let Dinu go!" they chanted.

It is true that out of all the Milencu's Dinu was the only popular one which made everyone joke that the "Evil Gene" only ran in Milencu blood which was why Dinu was good.

"Please Dinu tried hard to give us all a good life. Yes his parents were monsters but they were not his real parents!" pleaded one citizen

The Police holding him in house arrest allowed him to speak.
He walked out of the apartment block. The crowd gave some space for him to talk

TV crews and camera's were picking up the moment

"I have lived with the Milencu's they raised me and rescued me from the Orphanage, they were my mother and father which is why I do mourn for them despite thier behaviour. I must also admit they had many faults and could of acted in a better manor and I am sorry on behalf of my parents. As for the BCF. They are holding me against my will because they feel threatened. You all must remember the BCF sat in the National Assembly under the Milencu's rule, they are the former party members who still want power. This is why I call for a general strike all over the nation to call for the BCF to hold immediate elections and resign" The police immediatly began to drag drag Dinu away and the people tried to grab Dinu chanting

"Free him! Free him!"

"I have a right to be here!" yelled Dinu the police then dragged him inside and began beating some of the people with thier battons

The Royal British States congratulate your nation on our freedom from Communism but we do think that the way you treat your former rulers is a little too harsh. I would like to offer Dinu asylum in our nation if your nation do not give him his freedom.

"No. I shall watch. It may be interesting to say the least."

Concerning the house arrest of Dinu FORMER administrator for the city of Timescu. In accordance with the will of the people we have arrested all members of the Milencu family who held power illegally. You all must remember that Ion was a very paranoid man and so to stop any threat of a take over he surrounded himself with his family putting them in high positions of power. Vasily Milencu head of the Cigouriva will also be executed by firing squad. Currently there is an Investiagtion into the way Dinu ran Timescu and into any abuses of power. All Milencu property has also been turned over to the state

Yours sincerely
Alin Popec Temporary leader of Bulgislavia

"I knew I would be facing a question like this. The Town of Timescu represents over 50,000 citizens compared with the 5.4 million Bulgislavian's that want the Milencu family out of the public life and political picture. Omar the Milencu's truly hated son has fled abroad. It is currently unknown where he has fled too but we suspect we wont see the end of him. For national security all members of the Milencu family must be arrested. The Cigouriva continue to fight all over the country to restore them to power... Next question please" said Alin looking over the crowd for another raised hand

Across the northern border, the Bulgian Popular Republic was sitting, dumbfounded. Neither Life-President Grigore Istok nor recently elected Communist Party leader Prime Minister Lubmila Kronyatensko knew what to say. One minute the PRB was there, the next...

The Securitat and the reformed People's Army, however, were acting... even if it had taken them a couple of war-losing days to mobilise, during which time their forces had been exposed as embarrassingly inefficient and over-sized. The Friendship Tunnel between Bulgia and Bulgislavia was being rigged with demolitions charges, and any Communist escapees hurried across as armoured cars arrived in increasing numbers and command tried to decide whether or not to try seizing the Bulgislavian end of the tunnel.

Besk, the Bulgian capital, issued a belated statement calling for the Bulgislavian masses to rise-up and restore their revolution and roundly condemning all involved in the new regime as both class traitors and agents of foreign espionage. The likes of former Prime Minister, the reformist Costel Nechita, sweated under house arrest as the prospect of revenge reared its ugly head.

The Bulgian embassy, meanwhile, prepared to become a centre for espionage activities of its own, aimed at the defeat of this disagreeable and embarrassing new order.

"Well personally I dont think anybody could stomach the dictators for too long before they would decide even to kill them. Infact they had thier chance to escape and they didnt also as stated by Iani in the closing statments of the trial it would be an insult to the Bulgislavian people to continue to let them live, by anychance are you a hardline communist state?" asked Alin

"I would also like to call on my neighbors for a great favour. You all saw footage of cramped, small flats, shortages of everything, food queues, starved people, children with bloated stomaches scavaging on the sidewalks, the country was bled to death and people are starving. We realize a large humanitarian crisis is on our hands and since the fall of the Regime over 20,000 Bulgislavian's have swamped the border fleeing into any of our neighbors, such a crisis is to be expected when a poverty stricken dictatorship collapses. We would like to ask our..... Friends the Bulgian's to the north to help take in the Bulgislavian refugees as we cannot provide for everyone in the country. More Bulgislavian's are also expected to flee across the border in the coming months into our three nieghbors"

WOAH! Where the hell did that come from?

RBS, that's a really bad move - need I remind you that you have no authourity in other nations and the prisoner is still a Bulgislavian, and you only have ten million citizens, whereas Bulg has over 1 billion, so his military will be waaay bigger than yours, even with your colonies.

Also, since the attack would be unprovoked, other nations - such as myself - will have to step in to stop you.

"Well they were on thier way to flee to Bulgia which would of been happy to hold them as exiles, infact there were a number of countries which would of been willing to grant them refuge, but According to a military commander who had an encounter with Omar, thier psychotic son. Bulgia was hardly in a position to deal with needy refugees in any great quantity, having only a low-middle income economy to begin with and one that had suffered an epic drain of foreign investment since the return to power last year of the Communist Party, but this wasn't just about the economy, stupid!

Bulgian border security forces were ordered through the Friendship Tunnel to the checkpoint on the Bulgislavian side, Besk saying that they would begin efforts to process refugees there. Across the rest of the frontier, the army engineers were being put to work sewing mines and stringing razor wire, and reservists were called-up to double patrols. Refugees would be processed through the tunnel and at the embassy in Trevesti, said the Bulgian Communist Party.

In Bulgia, of course, state media swung into action. The refugee crisis was being painted as one caused by capitalist aggression and terror, petty revenge by the bourgeoisie, not as a long-awaited opportunity to escape, and certainly Bulgislavians would mostly be housed apart from ordinary Bulgians until they had been confirmed as loyal Communists willing to say the right things. The rest would probably get single room flats in Systemisation style tower blocks in areas of failed projects from the pre-reform era, where ordinary Bulgians rarely went.

In 1989 Bulgislavia's neighbors collapsed in the revolutions which ended communism. When Bulgislavia tried to follow suit a couple of months later the government clamped down. The Milencu's thought they could follow the same steps in crushing revolution that Provoçe did but they failed and when the revolution succeeded (with the help of foriegn soldeirs) they were first against the wall

the news of what has happened in Bulgislavia are terrible and frightening. A sovereign nation has been suppressed and forced to follow an unacceptable phase of a false democracy. There can be no democracy with foreign armed intervention on people and no people can be forced to follow a particular model state. What happened to the detriment of the great People's Republic of Bulgislavia is a crime and a brake on the progress of peace, freedom of the people and socialism. Our strong socialist motherland does not want nor take the shares of Ion and Irena Milencu but will not even attack, since nobody except the people of Bulgislavia a duty to judge them. The Rumanovia therefore not recognise any government puppet in the hands of the bourgeoisie that will be established after this criminal attack on legitimate institutions Bulgislavia, our embassy was already closed: one thing is correct errors and even crimes of the leaders with punishments, and is a thing would destroy socialism and the glorious achievements defenses with heroism in a difficult climate by the people and workers of Bulgislavia. is a return to the past and not democracy this: Alin Popec is doing the game of imperialism and is restoring capitalism. The proletarian and socialist institutions must take firm measures while maintaining the integrity, independence and unity of the nation that has fought for so terrible isolation in Europe that artificially created around it.

Alin held up the letter from the Rumanovians

"If any Rumanovia is watching and has watched events unfold you will see that it was a popular rebellion against two tyrants. The western world was right to call us a Bastardization of communism. The crimes of the Milencu's are now open and everyone knows of what went under and thier un communist behaviour. They really did not care for the people at all, only about building an apparatus of power"

Hello friends and collegues,
I'm Irina Yakushòva, inviated by our great socialist motherland to speak whit you about this infamous act against socialism, peace and justice. It's clear that our state, people, governament and Party aren't defending nor accusing Milencu: we know about several problems of Bulgislavia leadership; we think that if we want to judicate their work it's unaccetable destroy all the socialist system and institutions: this system and institution was created by people after World War II and if there is some problemes or errors, these one must be resolved in the socialist ground. Other ways are only special systems to destroy socialism and reconstruct in a barbaric way a barbaric system that was demolished when People's Republic of Bulgislavia was founed. The replay to socialism and communism questions is the workers class and institutions and not the new ones that have been created only using an imperialist force.

Official Communique from the Volzgradien Government

The United Republics of Volzgrad are deeply troubled and saddened by the recent collapse of the Communist government in the Comrade nation of Bulgislavia. Our nations have been allies ever since the beginning of Communist Volzgrad in the early 1950's. While we are fully aware of the multitude of atrocities committed by the Milencus, we will still show our support for the loyal Socialist people of Bulgislavia. To add salt to the ever increasing wound, it appears the new Bulgislavian government is hell-bent on creating a Fascist Dictatorship. It is for this reason that we will provide asylum to any loyal Bulgislavian who does not wish to live under the Fascist yoke of the new government.

To ensure the safe arrival and protection of the fleeing Bulgislavian refugees. Two regiments (approximately 8000 troops) of Railway Guards (cool name for national guard) will be stationed in Bulgislavia. These troops are NOT meant to invade or gain territory. They are there to ensure peace and stability in the rapidly deteriorating situation that is Bulgislavia. If possible, our troops will work in concert with troops from the neighboring nation of Bulgia.

Signed,
President Vasili Illyanovich Kavinkov

Aprika commends the abolishment of communism in Bulgislavia. Communism is an unworkable ideaology that robs from all, the rich and the poor alike. It will take time, but Bulgislavia is now on track to become a wealthy, modern European state, a status which has been denied from it by a delusional elite who wished only hellish misfortune on their own people.

Beyond simple commendation, Aprika will be happy to extend an offering of friendship to Bulgislavia by opening an embassy within the nation. We will also gladly contribute to the development of the new free market economy of your nation with humanitarian aid.

Hernando Perez Martin, President of Aprika.

OOC: After the conference we can go on a visit to the void

"I would also like to remind any journalists who questioned executing the Milencu's that when asked about starvation from the export of Bulgislavian foodstuffs Irena said with perfect disdain 'it would be beneficial for all Bulgislavian's becuase they are all overweight' this shows how out of touch they were from reality, its almost the same case as the french queen the one that said 'let them eat cake"

OOC: She never actually said that. 'Tis fiction. And she was Queen Consort.

Royal British States - Listen to me. Your behaviour in this thread is blatant godmodding. How did you know about what was going on in front of Dinu's apartment building? I understand news of the house arrest of the Milencu's would probably reach the media, however such a specific thing is impossible to know. I don't know why Bulgislavia put that there in the first place.

"Well firstly I'll adress all questions, to the Rumanovian woman; It was clear since Provoçe came to power in 1962 that the party stopped working for genuine popularity and only cared about creating thier own powerbase. But even before then I think its hard to think President Turescu was anygood either. In the end it all comes down to the leaders and thier own meglomaniacal and selfish ways. Simply ading meglomaniacla titles before them names like 'Grand leader' or 'great comrade leader' is enough to inflate thier ego's. Next question, to the Volzgrad. This revolution was long overdue infact most western nations predicted we would collapse in the failed 1990 July revolution so I only have to say its about time. We do permit peace keeping forces but they will be monitored to ensure they dont secretly aide the Cigouriva still fighting. Your also welcome to take as many Bulgislavian's off our hands. especially the communist ones. it just means all the new left wing parties that will participate in the elections will get fewer votes. Next question; to Aprika, Thank you for your support and recognition. Finally we can get this country on the move with help from nations like you.

This is an amount of lies and burgeoise revisionated things. First of all, I'm not a simple woman but the incharged from our strong socialist motherland for this horrific tragedy in Bulgislavia. I'm a political police officer in my country and you have to respect me and my work: it's typical of burgeoise politician to treat workers in this way.
Now to the great question. Bulgislavian people, when proclamed the popular republic, wanted to realize a socialist state under a proletarian governament and leadership to realize a new way to progress and happiness of people. We think, I repeat incharged by our strong socialist motherland, that the socialism questions and problems must be resolved in the socialist ground: attacking the leadership of your own country and his institutions fellowing an imperialist occupation that killed thousands of sincere bulgislavians, you attack the socialism in a traitor way. Bulgislavia have to remain a socialist state if its governament take care of people and national unity. The restauration of capitalism will destroy the last socialist arvest realized under Milencu and the country would be a gameplace where national and international capitalist will hang all national richness and use working class for their criminal intent of burgeoise total power. There's no democracy whitout the abolition of human unequality.
However, a most important thing is that this so called "revolution" have been used to not ensure a real socialist and communist construction in Bulgislavia restoring all proletarian revolutionary institution but only to do the will of international gangster that used to isolate Bulgislavia just because they can't rape its richness and enslave its people.

Open Communique

Greetings,

As Lord Protector of the Autocratic Federated Empire, I would like to send my personal congratulations to the nation of Bulgislavia on overthrowing the archaic and oppressive form of government that formerly ruled.

Communism is a horrible menace that preys on free thought and free enterprise. To have overthrown it, we welcome you into the light that is liberty and freedom.

I furthermore exhort the communist hypocrites who lambast the Bulgislavians for their laudable decision to shut up before they get hurt.

With the Buglian seizure of the southern end of the Friendship Tunnel going uncontested, the flow of Bulgislavians into Bulgia was being regulated a lot better than the trickle of Bulgians into Bulgislavia, so it seemed.

Throughout the war, Bulgian agents in the People's Republic -and there had been many since Communist leader Lubmila Kronyatensko's election victory last year- had lain low, seeing no point to open resistance against such odds. Now, though, their information would be of great value as the Securitat tried to discern which, if any, Bulgislavians could be trusted to take part in a fermenting insurgency.

The Securitat, with a budget close to that of pre-war Bulgislavia's entire defence and security apparatus, was tasked with an attempt to absorb remaining Cigouriva into a widened Committee for the Protection of the East Balkan Peoples and equip them to begin a resistance movement, all be it one aimed chiefly at disrupting future elections and perhaps making people pine for lost stability and a firm hand.

Meanwhile, Bulgia's own massive defence reorganisation continued within spitting distance of the occupation forces and the new sham government of Bulgislavia...

How would you know that anything happened in the first place? All you would know is that the adoptive son of the couple who ruled a poor communist nation is under house arrest. Unless you supported the dictator's then you wouldn't care.
