Press Release of the New France Oil Corporation
As you know, recently the Allaneans have conquered the island of New France, in Arterus – or rather, the Griffincrest Corporation troops have surrendered it to the United States Armed Forces like the cowards they are. As of now, the Allaneans have privatised the oil resources on New France, and they are now property of the New France Oil Corporation We produce somewhere around fifteen million barrels of oil per year, and are happy to put them up for sale at the very decent price of $45 per barrel.
As such, we would like to open this oil to long-term contracts. If you wish to purchase it, please state the name of the purchasing entity and the amount of oil you wish to purchase per annum. We will then sign permanent contracts to ship oil to you until such a time that the contract is terminated by either one of the parties.
For the record, the income from every barrel of oil is spread as follows:
$30 – Extraction costs
$8 – Federal Sales Tax
$1 – New France State Taxes
$1 – Charitable donations by the NFOC
$5 – Profits of the NFOC.
