Attention all suppliers and purveyors of all things naval,

Even as the Empire faces yet another conflict, I am faced with an unavoidable truth. Whilst the Imperial Land Forces and The Imperial Air Force have never been stronger, the Imperial Naval Service still relies on ex-Soviet equipment and with the exception of the Super-dreadnought 'Primo Frank', is totally unsuited to any form of modern naval battle.

I therefore offer a contract to rebuild the Imperial Naval Service. As you can imagine this is extremely lucrative, for my advisors say that I should be looking for a navy of around six thousand ships. The Empire demands the finest, and as such will pay the finest.

Your Empire is no doubt powerful, and no doubt deserves the finest in naval engineering, which is exactly what Eisenseite Naval Industries can provide. Your large order size is no issue at all, as we have shipping and production facilities in every major city in Leistung (in addition to a few in North-Point), though it will more likely than not take between 2-4 years to complete the final vessel.

On the behalf of CotWep Export Ltd., I would like to make a proposal for the following classes of vessels to be added to the Imperial Naval Service, for a modest purchase cost per vessel of course.

For your littoral defence needs, CotWep Export Ltd. would propose that you aquire the highly successful Type 12 Missile Patrol Craft (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=563322), which has enjoyed enormous success with many of the world's powers, including but not limited to Doomingsland (5 000 vessels), Allanea (8 000+ vessels), Clandonia (9 000 vessels), Cotland (6 000+ vessels), Akimonad (3 500 vessels) and many other nation-states. The Type 12 is a small, fast and heavily armed littoral combatant, perfect for protecting your coastal waters, fisheries and/or offshore installations, and for providing effective hit-and-run attacks against any would-be invader. For a modest cost of only $85 million NSD per vessel, these highly effective and feared vessels can be part of your navy.

Furthermore, for operations further out at sea and for protecting your fleet and waters against those pesky pirates and foreign submarines, you need something with a bit more oomph. Fortunately for you, we at CotWep have just the vessel you need! We are happy to present to you, the , which is essential for providing an effective means of establishing and demonstrating sovereignty in your territorial waters and economic exclusion zones, and for defending your territorial waters.

The Type 35 is a 126-meter long, heavily armed frigate (called a frigate by Cotland for political reasons, can safely be called a light destroyer) capable of inflicting enormous casualties with an enemy invader, as each vessel is armed with three sixteen-cell Mk.51 Vertical Launch Systems (tactical length) for a total of forty-eight VLS cells, which can hold just about any munition that can fit into the 0.6 x 0.6 x 7.6 meter cell; two Mk.55 Quad Launchers for a total of eight standard anti-shipping missiles (each vessel come with eight complementary RGM-84 Harpoon missiles); two Mk.59 Twin Launchers for heavy anti-shipping missiles (designed for the Cottish-made [url=http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=2595]SBM.63B Akkar (]Type 35 Frigate[/url) missile, four missiles are complementary per vessel); two Mk.47 triple torpedo launcher mounts capable of holding three 324 MM anti-submarine warfare torpedoes each (three full reloads can be carried in magazines and lifted up to the launchers); and two OTO Melara 76 MM/62 caliber Super Rapid dual-purpose cannons, one facing fore and one facing aft, giving the Type 35 a rather serious punch that can be used against those pesky pirates, foreign fishing vessels that refuse to submit to inspections, and for self-defence. In terms of self-defence, the Type 35 is also exceptionally well armed. She's sporting one Mk.53 Point Defense Missile launcher capable of holding twenty-one BLM.34E Grumpy point defense missiles (domestic production rights for these missiles are available for $50 billion), two Mk.55E Imperator combined gun/missile close in weapons systems sporting two 35x228 MM cannons and eight ready-to-fire BLM.34E Grumpy missiles with four full missile reloads in the magazines directly below the mounts; and four M2HB heavy machine guns for close-in port defense or for covering your boarding parties if you for some reason need to board other boats. The Type 35 can also fit a helicopter on the 240 m² landing pad aft, which can be used for anti-submarine or light anti-shipping purposes by hanging torpedoes or light anti-shipping missiles on the helicopter (helicopter and weaponry not included). While heavily armed, the Type 35 can easily move at speeds over 30 knots, with a maximum dash speed of thirty-five knots (recommended maximum sustained speed is 25 knots), something which is made possible by the two LM2500+ gas tubine engines and their COGAG configuration. Laden down with supplies and weaponry, the Type 35 has a crew endurance of 30 days and can sail up to 12 000 kilometers at a sustained speed of 20 knots before she runs out of fuel.

As you can see, the Type 35 is a quite capable vessel, able to do just about any job you task her to. CotWep offers all this to the Imperial Naval Service for a mere $675 million NSD per vessel, which if we may say so ourselves is quite a bargain!

Of course, what good is your large battlefleet if they can't go any further than their fuel tanks and supply stocks last? Fear not, CotWep has just the vessel you need. The Type 76 Underway Repenishment Vessel (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=3181) is more than capable of refuelling and resupplying your warships while underway, and can deliver over 23 125 litres of fuel to your warships, more than enough to get them where they need to go. Additionally, the Type 76 can carry up to 80 pallets of dry stores supplies in her refridgerated storage rooms which can be delivered via VERTREP (vertical replenishment) by means of the two helicopters the Type 76 can carry, meaning that the crews of your warships can be sustained for longer, allowing for added efficiency and warfighting capability. Without a suitable replenishment ship, there is no way you can sustain a forward deployed naval force for extended periods of time. Fortunately for the Imperial Naval Service, CotWep is offering a replenishment ship that is more than capable of meeting your every requirement, all for the cost of only $900 million per ship.

Additionally, CotWep is capable of and willing to deliver to the Imperial Naval Service the weapons it need to fight tomorrow's conflicts at sea. In particular, we wish to mention the already above mentioned SBM.63 Akkar (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=2595) heavy anti-shipping missile and the BLM.34E Grumpy (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=3178) point defense missile. We are capable of delivering large shipments of either weapon, and for the BLM.34E, given its nature and task and subsequently greater chance of being used, domestic production rights priced at $50 billion NSD. This is the equivalent to the purchase cost of 200 000 missiles, so if you intend to procure more than 200 000 missiles, it would be more economically sound for you to procure the Domestic Production Rights for the BLM.34E. Unfortunately, due to Cottish legislation, we are unable to provide further DRPs. However, we believe that with our low prices and high quality products, procuring our products are well worth the expenditure.
