We just recieved a telegram from Brutilana there cutting communications to and from The United Government and are placing every citizen in house arrest and arresting every citizen celebrating our hoilday" "My god can we do anything about?" "Well sir what we can do is retreive all government citizens from Brutilana" "Sounds good but we need a stragety" "How about a raid just get our citizens and leave" "Well it it sounds like a good idea ok get the president on the line" "Yes sir" "Mr President as you might know a country is holding our citizens hostage in house and are not providing food and water" "What can we do about it?" "We are suggesting a raid just drop in and take our citizens" "Well if that is your only plan then I will aprove"

"Alright have our Special Forces ready for a drop in Operation Eagle Claw is now in full gears!"

An alarm sounded as troops,tanks,APC's were briefed and gathered in C-130 and fighters got ready for the escort

"Alright here is how thing will work take over any airport you can then we will have our C-130's land with more equipment and supplies then have our Squad move into the nearist police station and get the list of those on house arrest then retrieve the people escort them to the airport our fighters will hold off enemy as long as can their army is bigger than ours we are just going in take our citizens and get out fast!

OOC: I am sorry, but I really have to say this. First off, you are starting this thread based off of a threat from another nation, and you didn't post "ATTN: (Nation Name)" in the post headline? That's a mistake, because how are they to know it exists (unless you telegram the crap out of them and tell them to respond).
Two, you are launching a special operations mission, with REGULAR armed forces added to it? Are you planning an insertion and extraction, or an invasion? Because if it is an extraction, and THAT many tanks, and naval forces show up on his land and in his territory....you just declared war (unless the presence of another nation's military and navy doesn't bug the crap out of the other nation, which it WON'T).
Finally three. You are about to get the crap kicked out of your nation's nuclear and other WMD production facilities, and have 2 opposing nation's naval forces ON YOUR DOOR STEP and you are just....leaving? Even IF you have the budget to support a decent sized military, you are strategically out-numbered, and are now leaving your nation basically un-defended. I SERIOUSLY suggest you read the "stickies" on how to RP war here on the Forums, otherwise you are about to lose one war, and start another with your homeland basically occupied. After watching your previously roleplaying operations, you lack the basic knowledge on how to do this yet act like you do, AND THEN ask for people's opinions......it's driving me CRAZY!!! :mad:

105 C-130's escorted by 96 F-22 rptors and 9 AV-8B harriers "fisrt off we drop tanks, airdefense, APC's and troops in a remote area in burtilana forest and make our way to the airport near river paradise our Harriers should take care of some SAMs there before they get intercepted by the burtilana airforce by then we should be there help out with our air defense systems and call out for reinforcments
5,000 troops dropped from C-130's and landed softly in the burtilana forest

OOC: if you looked at maps on my factsite (In sig.), you'll see that every airport is surrounded by SAMs, so your C-130 would not be able to drop troops so easily, also my radar would have picked you up, and you would have been intercepted.

Our scout planes have spotted TUG forces off our coast. I guess you thought our actions a bit strong. I do not wish to subject my population to war, so I wish to make a deal.
If you can put tighter restrictions onto whom you sell CBRN material to, we shall release the expats from your nation from house arrest. As a good will gesture, we shall release the prisoners holidaying within our nation back to you. There are only 1032 holidaying citizens, so we shall allow 12 transport aircraft to land at Pyrford Army and Airbase, to collect them. There will be a strong military presence at the base, so please do not try anything.


President Burte had not reckoned on this outcome, and was now desperate to avoid subjecting his country to war, there was a large TUG fleet inbound, what else did he think was to happen? He sat on his couch after sending the telegram. To relax, he pulled out a cool glass of neat vodka, and began sipping.

[OOC: Okay, TUG, I knew that you were probably new, but I did not know that you were dense enough to assume that you can DROP a 61.4 tonne TANK out of a plane without getting it smashed into a pile of rubble. This isn't Command and Conquer Generals where you can "paradrop" Type 98 and M-1 Abrams tanks onto the battlefield. Tanks must be transported by special aircraft that then must fly low over an area of flat ground before releasing the tank at low speeds. You can't paradrop tanks. Also, the C-130 Hercules has a maximum of 92 passengers. What did you do, stuff them into the aircraft and shoot it across the ground with a great big mass driver?]

"WOLF SQUADRAN!! TIGER SQUADRAN!! We have incoming C-130s and attack aircraft, intercept now, co-ords being uploaded now."
Shouted a voice over the radio receiver as an alarm went off at Pyrford Military base. The entire squadran lept into action, within 10 minutes 60 F-20 Tigersharks were in the sky and inbound to intercept the TUG aircraft.

The SAM sites zeroed in and launched a volley of PAC-3 patriot missiles fired at the attacking aircraft. The airport will not fall into enemy hands without a fight. 30 of the Tigersharks were coming to the aid of the airport.

All the ships of the Paradise Mountain and the Vladimir Burte (about half way down.) (http://www.freewebs.com/socialiststatesburtilana/military.htm)were in Burtilanian waters, for a large reactment that was going to be filmed. Instead they were going to fight for real. Both fleets were to act as a barrier between TUG vessels and aircraft and the Burtilanian coast.

OOC: TUG: you should also be prepared for faceing Burtilana's allies. Once they enter, you wll have to ask for help from any allies you have.

OOC: Even if it does work out that way, your entire nation can't just go and hide out in a cave in Afghanistan. Most likely, there will be a counterattack.

*OFFICIAL STATEMENT*

The Commonwealth of Tolvan hereby condemns the reckless incursion by the military forces of The United Government unto the sovreign soil of Burtilana. Such an action will only serve to further escalate tensions between the irresponsible and incompetent regimie of TUG and the international community. The Commonwealth has already suspended all trade with TUG due its policy of selling CBRN materials to the highest bidder. These measures, while normally considered harsh, have no dissuaded this "government" from its continuing its policies. As such we are left with no other options than to utilise military force to neutralize this threat to international stability and peace. Elements of the Tolvanic military are preparing to deploy to support Burtilanan forces in repelling this attack. In addition the Commonwealth is exploring possible options for military operatins on the TUG mainland.

Off the south farming coast of Burtilana, a white converted cruise ship drops anchor into the crystal blue water. The ship looks like any other white cruise ship, except for a red & white chinook on the bow and one on the stern of the ship. Painted on each side of the ship in a huge image is a red cross. Flying on banners across the ship are white background flags with red crosses. The crew of the Foaming Mug is ready and waiting

The ship sending out a message over and over. Till the call is answered.

To: The United Government & Burtilana

This is the Foaming Mug, medical ship. We are from the nation of Neo Mithral Hall on an international mission to provide aide to the nations at war. We have no intentions to interfere, only to provide aide where needed. Until we have permission to enter the skys above the land of Burtilana, we will only provide water rescues.

Please note. Weapons from victims will not be brought onboard the ship. We will not hand over POWs. We will only hand over people to their respected nations. If to protect staff and patients is needed, patients will be restrained for their safety. As of right now, we are not taking on any refugees.

Please note that we know we are not protected under the WORLD ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION #4. If you wish, at your request, we can fly an unarmed member of your WA Delegate office to inspect the ship and observe we have no arms.

The 30 Tigersharks climbed up behind the 15 C-130s,
"On my command, T2 to T16 fire sidewinders at the bogeys. Pick your targets now." Said T1, the fighters picked all heir targets. "This slow bastards don't stand a chance, ready. FIRE!" 30 Sidewinder missiles fired upon all of the TUG Hercules aircraft.

The patriot missile system protecting the coastal battery sprang to life, a volley of missiles was launched headlong at the intruders.

"All forces evacuate the area immeadiatly I repeat evacuate the area leave no one behind I repeat get the hell out" the man shouted out on the radio as the president agreed to ultimatum
