CSN (Cherozhan State News):
At 2245 hrs, an artillery barrage from the Cherozhan Imperial Army, broke the silence in city of Beiling in Northern Hu Zhou. A source from within the Consulate stated that the attack is targeting known terrorist facilities. There have been scattered reports of air attacks, but this hasn't been confirmed by our sources. We now take you to the Consulate building where High Consul Alexzander is about to deliver his speech.
"My Country men, the unthinkable has come upon us. The time for diplomacy in the matter of terrorism out of Hu Zhou has come to an end. My good friend and greatest commander General Mannerheim Kursk, is currently in command of the 4th Armored Division and is meeting with his officers to ready a plan for the invasion of northern Hu Zhou. I call apon you, my valiant people, to stand strong and support your soldiers as they fight for your security and freedom against these cowardly barbarians. Long live the People, Long Live the State, Long Live Cheorzha.
Division HQ, 12 miles from the Cherozhan-Zhoulin border:
Kursk: Gentlemen, what we have before us is a daunting task. It will not be easy, the fighting will be fierce and the enemy numerous. We have been ordered to take Li-Juan Province and place it under direct control of the army until the terror cells have been rooted out and destroyed. Our plan is thus-
1. Drive south with a spearhead of tanks and IFV's, to be supplimented by air support.
2. Cease the cities of Beiling, Golan, Chen, Bangienfu, and Shanqiu
3. Quickly cut off the Zhoulin army to limit any counter attack.
Any questions?
Lieutenant Colonel Adimov: How exactly are we expected to five cities with a single division?
Kursk: We only fight the army and any armed resistance we come across, whe drive through each city and eliminate all threats then push on to the next
Adimov: General, if we do that will we not lose many men?
Kursk: We will fight like we were trained lieutenant. Air support will be strong and morale WILL be high, understand?!
Adimov: Sir, Yes Sir
Kursk: all of you prepare your men, we move out at daybreak to the sound of a "21 gun salute" ha ha ha
