Falk Air
First Class Service at Third Class Pricing

History:
Falk Air, the premier airline of Falkasia, is one of the oldest in the country. Originally founded in the late 1910's after the invention of the airplane and World War One, Pan Falkasia (as it was known then) began business by flying short routes between the capitol of Ekaterine and Karasov City. Using a few three-seat, modified Sopwith Camels acquired as military surplus, the fledging company launched itself into the spotlight as one of the top airlines for customer satisfaction. One magazine at the time even went so far as to say that Pan Falkasia had reinvented air travel.

For the next three decades, Pan Falkasia underwent multiple upgrades and managment changes, eventually phasing out it's aging fleet of war veterans and replacing them with newer and better aircraft. During the Second World War, Pan Falkasia saw most of it's existing fleet either commandeered by the government for use against the Nazis, or used as private charters to evacuate refugees from war torn regions. Although there are no existing records available recording the number of refugee flights made during the war, it has been estimated that they may range as high as 10,000.

Following the end of World War Two, Pan Falkasia underwent another management change, ultimately resulting in the name change to Falk Air and the procurement of multiple surplus DC-3s from the war. For the next 60 years, Falk Air continued to serve it's government and passengers, participating in noteworthy historical events such as the Berlin Airlift, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the direct destruction of the Berlin Wall.

========================================================================================

Falk Air is one of the major modern airlines today, operating the most advanced fleet in the industry. This fleet, comprised of state-of-the-art Silenkov SL-12 (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Universal_Defense/index.php?showtopic=34) and Silenkov SL-14 (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Universal_Defense/index.php?showtopic=57) airliners, will ensure maximum passenger comfort while providing the flexibility and power to travel anywhere in the world on a whim.

Falk Air is currently looking for both local and international airports who are willing to put forth contracts to allow Falk Air and its passengers a greater diversity of destinations to choose from.

Usitan Airways wishes to establish a flight route between Ustio and Falkasia. Falk Air Aircraft may make flights into Hydria Intl Airport, Pelagious Intl Airport, Stier Intl Airport & Port St. Stanley Intl Airport. However, the runway at Solis Ortis Intl Airport is too short for the Silenkov SL-12 to land on.

Also, we wish to make it plain (Oh, a pun!) that Ustio has a No-Fly Zone, and any aircraft detected breaching this No-Fly Zone will be nullified without warning. There is a ten mile perimeter where aircraft that have strayed off course will not be attacked, but if they fail to change course and leave the perimeter, they too will be nullified.

We await your response.

OOC: See the map in my sig for a map showing the no-fly zone. And please don't say anything about the map - i suck at paint and the like

======

As for the events, a great deal of Falk Air's aircraft were loaned out to the Western Democracies of NATO after the Russians blockaded the road to Berlin.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, one of our aircraft was loaned out to the US to act as a neutral envoy aircraft to help tensions. It actually carried President John F. Kennnedy once, but he prefered his 707.

During the destruction of the Berlin Wall, one of our decomissioned aircraft was used as a wreaking ball by the East Germans to help tear down the wall.

Foreign Ministry
Department for Trade

The Department of trade hereby authorises flights to and from airports within Alfegos, with any permission to fly to the colonies to be reviewed on request. Attached is a summary list of passenger international airports in Alfegos.

We wish to inform the operator that it is a legal requirement for all aircraft in Alfegos to be fitted with Collision Warning units, certified able to detect airships. Airspace is used by both airships and aircraft, so care must be taken around airports during landings, when it is likely that aircraft will enter the same lanes as airships. All aircraft must as a consequence be piloted by crews who have passed a government course concerning airship flights.
A second note is that military aircraft have priority. If military aircraft are taking off from an airport, then aircraft must wait until notified.

If you have any questions regarding airports, please reply.

- Liberty International Airport, New Zevkhay: A major hub for those flying onto novan nations from the west, Liberty Intl. is both a major hub for passengers travelling to and from Alfegos, and those on transfer flights. An average of 22 million people a year pass through Liberty International, through the six state-of-the-art terminals. Shuttle buses operate between here and Liberty Intl. (a primarily cargo airport), Freedom Intl. (A national/airship hub) and Pire'zevkh Air Park (a small aerodrome serving airships and budget carriers).

- Milkavich 1, Milkavich - A hub to the Milkavich area, the only one of the international five airports which serves for passengers. Massive traffic comes from the large city, mainly in the form of domestic or inter-regional flights.

- Polinapolis Intl. - The northen city airport, the third most busy in Alfegos. Popular for most carriers.

- Il'vi Aerodrome - A popular airport for those visiting the beaches in the area, as well as venturing towards the north. Maglev services link the large town to the other international airports, with discounts operated by most companies to airport users. Also serves airships.

- Ol'vi Cosmodrome - Shared by both the Palm Cosmic Agency and commercial traffic, this airport is stationed in the old town of Ol'vi. Another popular destination for those off the beaten track.

- Nos'vi Intl. - A primarily military airport, with some catering for local flights.

We greatly appreciate your offer, and will begin scheduling flights into and out of Las Venturas immediately. Based on your country's current population, roughly 20-25 flights per day should adequitely cover the current transportation requirements. This in turn would require roughly 6-7 gates, considering the fact that each gate should be able to maintain up to 3 aircraft per day.

As for the reciprocal agreement, SoKal is free to fly into any of Falkasia's main International Airports; of which being Ekaterine International (Our Capitol), Karasov City International, and Port Kamov International. All three of these airports are more than capable of supporting your current C-2 Fleet.

On a side note, seeing that you are currently operating aging C-2 aircraft, we would like to inform you that the Silenkov SL-12 (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Universal_Defense/index.php?showtopic=34) is also currently for sale, and out-performs the C-2 in almost every way.

Subject: Possible gates in our airport

Dear esteemed comrades,
We here in the Democratic Republic of Curacao Island are very interested in international travel after years of isolationism. And this may be one of the first steps. We will offer Falk Air Industries to operate in 10 gates in our newly opened Island International Airport. We also think that your citizens would love to travel to Curacao Island for vacation. We have a small population of 156,000, who are very kind to tourists and love to see them. We are a tropical nation so we have nice crystal clear water to swim in, rainforrests to visit, nice cozy beaches, among many other activities our nation is anxious to share with the world.

Re: New routes

We have secured permission from the local governments to offer the chance to open routes to Singapore Changi Airport in Singapore, Hong Kong International Airport in Hong Kong, Brunei International Airport outside Bandar Seri Begawan, Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon, Macau International Airport in Macao, and Pudong International Airport in Shanghai. For each route, we offer eight gates for $100000 US and 1% of profits earned on those routes.
If this offer is accepted, we will consider opening up Seoul, Tokyo, Burtford (in Greater Dienstad), and Port Vincent (in St. Celestino), along with trans-Pacific routes to Darwin, Sapporo, Christchurch and Port Moresby.

The USSPP would like to open our airports to Falkasia's flights. The Indigenous penguins, as well as their evolved form, Penguinis Sapiens, have proven very popular to those who choose to journey to our country. If your plains are not ski equipped, we can help you convert them to make landing here easier: The runways are frequently snowed over.

Sincerely,

From: the presidential palace of tubaui

the republic of tubaui is allowing falk air to use both of our current civilian international airports:
dennegan international, and osorio air-hub, free of charge.

we also allow falk air to use four of our, smaller, island airfields:
mundam airfield, whitterby airport, blovian premium airfield, and bull island airstrip.

however, though long enough to allow for the silenkov SL-12,
our island airports are not made of top quality asphalt or concrete, they use a fine gravel.

vice-president clark, temporary head of state.

OOC: my nations got a mainland, but it also has loads of islands, which are too small for international airports, so iv'e just given them tiny airstrips

OOC: Sorry for the single, multipost. Don't have too much time to make a post for each request as I usually do.

IC:
All offers, save the one from Penguin Protection have been accepted, and flights will commence immediately.

Penguin Protection: Although your offer is tempting, we are curious as to what you've been smoking recently. In our world, there is no such thing as intelligent penguins, and as the ice caps continue to shrink, so do the number of indigenious penguins. Again, we appreciate your offer, but must refuse.
