New Weapon for combating Power Armor!

a New weapon from InuTech Weapons Division is makeing waves in the Khanate. A weapon made to handle Powered Armored Suits (or PAS for short), and it is based on a well known weapon.

"It is a small ion cannon," Shangal Lai Tai Pan, Head of the InuTech Weapons Division, "The VCA-18 Ion Rifle is a new weapon made to combat ExoSuits like powered armor. It works like a ion cannon, but in a smaller and easier to handle from of a gun."

While The Military is hopeing to start socking up on Ion Rifles, InuTech is working on another Ion Weapon for use against land vehicles like AT-ATs and the like.

OOC: I'm not very good with FT but if i'm not mistaken most Ion cannons are fitted onto ships or are large AA batteries in FT warfare. Considering that wouldn't the gun have enough recoil to knock the shooter onto his ass? Also, wouldn't it overheat within half a dozen shots at most? Wouldn't it have to charge for a very long time before firing as well? I mean look at the Ion Cannon sued in Star Wars by the Rebels when escaping Hoth. The thing usually fires every 5 to 10 minutes and was housed in a structure relative in size to a modern observatory and the gun itself was the size of a high powered space telescope.

And you yell at someone else for wankery?

OOC: Hat, this is an all-time low for you. Stealing other people's pictures without even contacting them? Come on now...

Also, a simple "properties" check on the image reveals the following url (I omitted the uninteresting parts):

OOC: What the hell. Stop stealing my stuff. That's my carbine designed to be a police and patrol weapon. Only Alliance Star has my authorization to sell that at the moment. The only reason why I didn't make my own shop for my weaponry is because I'm shipping off for boot-camp in a week.

Congratulations, idiot, you just ripped off a design made by a United States soldier (sailor, technically). Feel happy now? I'm willing to die for my country and here you are, taking advantage of the fact that I may not be around to claim my own designs? (And I won't for at least two months, but I meant permanently in that context.) Oh, FYI, Alliance Star is also a member of the United States Navy. You ripped off two.

Get your own weapons! I make all of mine after laboring hours on only MS Paint and I make half decent guns, and you...
In five seconds you disgrace what took me at least twenty minutes.

Just be glad you didn't rip off one of my better pictures. I'd be reporting you to every single moderator at this very moment!
If you'd taken something like my M-10 or one of my helos? The M-10 took five hours of revision, and that was with using several other pictures as guides to what I thought mind should look like (as well as getting proportions right). Just be very, very glad you didn't take that one...

Upon the stresses of impending boot camp, now this? Some punk decides he doesn't want to work for something and blatantly steals my work without giving me (or at least Alliance Star, seeing as he is the vendor in question), any credit?

OOC: I think you might be reaching a bit there, buddy. There are some places where playing the soldier (or sailor) card doesn't really work.

Not that it isn't totally uncool to steal art like that.

Indeed, probably shouldn't have played it without his prior knowledge, as well as having overstretched on that quite a bit.

But do understand I am currently under a lot of emotional and physical stress, and emotional and physical pain at the moment, as well as being quite tired, and I really do not need this right now. It's like icing on the depression-cake - I very much care for my designs, and I take great pride in them.

As for reporting? Alliance Star has already done that.

Halcyon, since Hat is off-line right now, why don't you change that image to something else as a punishment for stealing/hot-linking your stuff? Then change the link in the Itemlog to something else as well?

Click the link now. :P If it still shows the M-19 Carbine, which is in no way, shape, or form, an Ion Cannon, reload the picture...

OOC:Looking past all the probs that have appeared, this is designed as a miniature version. It is designed to temporarily stun a vehicle, like the At-St from starwars, or somethig of the sort. Using it against anything bigger would probably be a failure...Also, it's like a bazooka. You fire it when you have a good target. But you make a good point, however.
The new pick says it all.....Also, NEVER STEAL OTHERS PICTURES! They will murder you in your sleep! Or in the case of those two sailors, they will call in artillery barrages on you, from their ship! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! Only steal pictures from wiki, if you are going to steal any.
Halcyon Forces

Technically I stole my picture, but I'm not claiming it as my own, as well as the fact that the picture is meant to be distributed, unlike my own.

Artillery? Pfffft. Who uses artillery anymore? Tomahawks, Harpoons, and Sea Sparrows are where it's at...
Daiwiz
27-08-2008, 22:28
.....I meant an inland barrage.....artillery rules man! Almost as much as the navy....Navy FTW!!! Lulz. I like the navy, is all. My friend likes the airforce, and my other friend is partial to land combat. So it works out in the end.

Also, I meant it to Steppe.
Roma V
27-08-2008, 22:40
Yes, it would work were it a bazooka style of weapon. But it looked more like a carbine in size and style.
Daiwiz
28-08-2008, 01:51
True. I meant, it would be used as a bazooka. Only an occasional shot, and only when it was a good shot.
Roma V
28-08-2008, 01:56
Exactly but he described one against enemy armor which i'm assuming means infantry armor so it would have to be multiple shot or else you'd be fucked.

Ok right.. is there a reason you decided to bump this clusterfuck of a thread back up? its an eyesore honestly. Sure He did some thing messed up, but you don't have to go all angry German kid on him. or LOL I R TOLD J000 SO.. just let the thread die man. Not trying to be an ass just trying to keep things like this from the front page. People take others pictures all the time so stop treating it like the crime of the century.
