The Peoples Haven of Chernobl made some large reforms to our government yesterday. Due to protest across Chernobl about free and open elections, long-time leader Goric Volgin stepped down and allowed the people to vote in a new president. The winner of the short elections was Nikolai Bellica. The government also formed a parliment to make and propose new laws. We also allowed all foriegn and domestic capitalist buisnesses flourish due to the abolishing of anti-buisness laws. The new Pro buisness Pro-Democracy government would be glad to form new alliances with those who may have been hostile to the old communist regime.

OOC: I have a bad feeling that you're going to be dogpiled by about a hundred communist nations, so get ready for that. My IC section is going to be short and unprofessional b/c I'm just not in the mood = )

IC: It is our great pleasure to recognize the newly free and open nation of Chernobl

We too support your nation's moving towards a more representative government.
Our people will soon be asking for travel visas we hope as they love to travel.

Maybe in the near future we could begin a sister city thread?

Toopoxia welcomes the fall of a Red State, and we would like to consider the exchange of embassies to note your sudden re-emergence, might I be so bold to comment on the flaws of Democracy within a state such as your own, the Communists may have been newly expelled from your Goverment, but it will not drive them from a Democratic State, in choosing Democracy you risk the Communists siezing power once more, may I recommend the third option instead, a goverment chosen by the intelligentia elite will be a more than capable force in the political world scene and prevent the reoccurance of radical extreme parties such as the Communists.

OOC: I think you mean the old communist government of Chernobl. Oseato has never been a communist nation, quite the opposite to be exact.
