The Society Journal
Founded on the cusp of the Second Civil War, in which the Fascists took power, as a means to promote, unite and solidify the Fascist movement among Toopoxias burgeoning and many Fascist groups at the time, the paper had a small beggining as a single sheet pamphlet spread about by members of the Fascist movement, it advertised Fascist Groups, meetings to discuss Fascism in Toopoxia and political arguments against the Representative Democracy and Communist Party.
IndentDuring the Civil War its focus shifted towards a propoganda device, informing those non-combatants of recent affairs, crackdowns and arrests, aswell as convincing those who had not yet taken up arms to join the Fascists, on two seperate occasions the Journals headquarters in central Volitaia were siezed by Goverment and Communist soldiers, each time it was hastily saved by members loyal to the Fascist party.
IndentIn the reconstruction effort following the siezure of power by the Fascists, the Society Journal was proclaimed a part of the State controlled media, it contained promotional and propoganda slogans promoting the efforts of the Fascists in reconstructing post war Toopoxia, by this time the paper had expanded to the thirty page weekly periodical seen today, its popularity soared as the only remaining periodical.

Major Raid on Azilstani Terrorist Training Centers
(written by Shura Barkhov)
In a joint effort between Straznuk Sturma and Military Intelligence Agents a major plot to overthrow the Toopoxican Goverment was foiled today.
IndentAt 3:00AM (estimate) Straznuk Sturma entered an approximate twelve private residences in Volitaia and Naibe, suspected to be involved with the terrorist group, the Azilstani Workers Union, the raid was successful with all those believed to be involved arrested.
IndentIn the particular case of 78 Liberty Mansions a weapons cache was found and is believed to be the largest found since the 1988 Toopoxican-Azil War.
IndentStraznuk officers also found evidence that the Terrorist group had been forging legal Toopoxican documents, including Passports and Work Slips, though not at liberty to discuss further, the Internal Department will be working to find and expell those who may have enterred Toopoxia under a false passport.
IndentMilitary Intelligence Officers have yet to confirm either the identity of those involved and that of their intended target, they have assured Toopoxican citizens that whatever they were planning has been prevented, but that it should not stop dilligence, if you suspect an Azil terrorist please ring the number below.

Azilstani Goverment Demands Release of Azil Prisoners
(written by Shura Barkhov)
Arsen Vahan, Azil Ambassador to Toopoxia, has demanded today that the twenty seven Azil Citizens charged with conspiracy to commit terrorism be released into Azil custody and sentenced in an Azil court, this demand comes as Azilstani Terrorists operating near the border have launched several small skirmishes against Toopoxican soldiers stationed in the area.
IndentToopoxican Department of Order Minister, Arseni Germain, has released an official public statement denying the request made by the Azil goverment, confirming that the case against these terrorists will take place according to protocol, under a Toopoxican court.
AWP Reinstigates Toopoxican Hostilities
(written by Vafolomey Milan)
In a desperate and cowardly response to the arrest of twenty seven of their agents, Azilstani Workers Party activists have returned hostility to the Azil Corridor seperating the two nations, early this morning Toopoxican Military bases along the border were awoken to the sounds of Mortar and Small Arms fire as the AWP Mob attempted to release Toopoxican hold over the area.
IndentToopoxican Military response later that morning resulted in the Air bombardment of abandoned war-time Azilstani weapons caches, bunkers and fortresses, believed to be sheltering AWP members, increased pressure has been placed on the Azilstani goverment to clean out their country of hostile groups such as the AWP whilst continued Toopoxican intelligence attempts to moniter the group.
IndentAs yet, no plans have been announced officially to perform military actions against the Azilstani goverment for this and other recent actions which have risked Toopoxican stability, Premier Waldemir Deskot has assured the populace that actions are being taken to "Prevent further hostile actions of the AWP, with minimal loss of human life on both sides."

Case Against Azil 27 goes to Court
(written by Shura Barkhov)
The Case against the Azil 27, those arrested in a early morning Straznik Storma raid, has today gone to court, despite pleas and objections from the Azilstani Goverment that the prosecuted be tried in an Azilstani Court, these objections have been dismissed.
IndentThe members of the Azil 27 have gained themselves somewhat of a martyr status among the Azilstani back at their homes, their faces and identities have become an icon to the terror tactics used against the Toopoxicans and it is possible in the likelyhood of a sentence other than exile these terrorists may foolishly try to take on the Toopoxican State.
Retaliation by Azil Terrorists Affects Toopoxican Trade
(written by Grisha Oleg)
In their desperation to damage the Iron constitution and will of the Toopoxican people, the Azilstani terrorists working in Eastern Toopoxia along the Azil Corridor have attempted to slow down or halt traffic, in many cases this has been seen in the establishment of temporary roadblocks, especially in the more rural roads and a few of Toopoxias main roads connecting the country, however, in the case of vital lifeline, the M32, Azilstani attacks have resulted in the discovery of three roadside IED's in the past week, no casualties yet reported but further attacks are not expected to yield such fortune.
IndentHow does this affect Toopoxican interests, obviously trade in Toopoxia has had to take alternative routes over the Volitaia sea, increasing the cost of travel, but we may witness a knock on effect of companies unwilling to trade over the Azil Corridor in place of more stable trading routes heading West, now would be a good time to invest in corporations who have already set out their trading routes West.
IndentWith the increased tensions flaring between Toopoxia, the AWP and Azilstan itself, it seems obvious that goverment may soon be increasing its military yield, companies associated with oiling the gears of war will soon witness production levels far higher than during peacetime, and now is a good time to invest, Economic experts have predicted that a war with Azilstan could see the shrewd investor double or triple his stake in the companies assets.
IndentAmong the chief effects of the closure of the Azil corridor has been the loss of some of Toopoxia's required resources, which may be bad news to some, but for those who predicted an event like this, now is the time to sell, Azil gold has seen the highest profit increase being the largest traded resource between the two nations before the Corridor incident, prices on monday settled at one pound of gold being worth more than twice its peacetime worth.

Whilst the Society Journal keeps most forms of media in check and in line with the politics of the Goverment, there is not stopped the independent left wing piracy, of the most pervasive and problematic to the Toopoxican goverment is the website Last Days of Freedom, its title taken from the response Luc Bessant gave to his invitation to live freely within Toopoxia "The minute the pervasive Intellectual Council of Toopoxia makes a mistake, elects the wrong leader, the Toopoxican citizens had better celebrate the day, as it will be their last days of freedom." apparently Bessant's notion of a paradise to be found in fascism was not represented well enough with the Intelligentia Council.
The Conspiracy
(written by Freedom_Man)
As Toopoxia once again plunges into warfare with Azilstan, we have to ask if it is all worth it, considering the lengthy backstory to the wars would it not have been easier to remain peaceful and ambivilant towards the Azils, I refer to, of course, the 1993 war, in which the Azilstani Socialist Party and Azilstani Workers Front united in a majority coalition to form the AWP, the threat of Azilstan throwing of its chains as a vassal state withstanding, would it not have been simpler to remain peaceful to this Leftist Democratic State, consider Terlaka Gabez, another Socialist state lying south of Toopoxia with far more belligerent attitudes towards, well, everyone who does not hail from Terlaka Gabez.
IndentSo why do it, when there is a Socialist State already at your borders what benefit comes from invading a more stable and better defended state? Among the competing theories, the idea of economy is the most popular, Azilstan has access to an Oil field only half as bountiful as Toopoxia's but still enough to provoke an impact in stockpiles, Azilstan also contains harvestable amounts of Uranium and further access to the fishing industry around the South of the nation, the occupation of Azilstan could turn Toopoxias economy into a powerhouse at the expense of thousands of lives.
IndentOnto the Conspiracy and the tragic death of Waldemir Deskot, a man elected for all the wrong reasons, the Intelligentia Council considered him a young and ambitious man, one who could, over many years, improve way of living in Toopoxia triplefold, which he did to an extent, the man was ambitious, but the most problematic to the ambitions of the council, he was also diplomatic, a diplomatic leader means no war, no war means no access to shiny resources, the plotting for Deskots assassination would be simple, the planting of evidence against dud Azil residents, the covert provocation of AWP members still bitter towards Toopoxia and the final coup de gras, the scene outside Liberty Hotel in which Premier Deskot was assassinated, not by the righteous and angry AWP, but by the greedy and treacherous Council.
