For the state of war between Royal British State (RBS) and Canedian Marine (CM) i made this.

CLOSED! CM got 7 million, RBS 6 million. (At this moment).

"Captain! Captain! we are near RBS waters!
Full steam ahead. Load the weapons, awake the man, load the artillery and such.
Yes sir... I believe... We are going to fight?
You are right luitanant. Now, do as i told you."

A fleet of 4 battleships, 3 aircraft carriers and 5 patrol boats headed to RBS waters. As goal: Hunting down: The goverment, the enemy navy and army.

In my opinion, RBS has to agree that this thread is closed in order to make it fully closed. Otherwise it would be like attacking Luxembourg and saying to the rest of NATO "Hey you guys sod off, I just want to fight him!"

He started the attacks first. They attacked first, now i got a right...

We may have some confusion here because there are two different kinds of "closed" in NS.

The Original Poster (OP) has thread ownership. They can ask the mods, at any time, to close a thread. When a thread is closed, it's locked: all action stops. Whether the action that has happened up to that point affects the nation's history is up to the players involved, but many will follow the particular forum's conventions (more abt conventions later).

The other “closed” is when a player, at the start of a thread, writes in the title that the thread is closed to all but (named nations). Mods usually enforce this when the player requests it (I can't actually remember any time we haven't). Generally, players don’t put “Closed: Attn X” unless they have discussed it with X’s poster, or have played with X often enough to know they will respond in such a way that it is possible to keep the RP to just the two of them.

If you want to RP in a world in which war between two nations has no repercussions in other nations, the rules (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) let you and the mods will support your right to do so. Remember, though, that it takes two to tango: if the player you have named in your title wishes his allies to join in, he has every right to ask them. He may even have previously RPd agreements in which they join automatically whenever he's threatened. We can't force him to play any other way. That's why people are telling you to wait for RBS's response, even though you say the thread is "closed" to just you and him.

Conventions: All forums have conventions: they’re not in the rules, as such, but if you disregard a convention, players who follow it won’t play with you. Some players will try to explain conventions to you politely. Others may dogpile you and a flame war may break out, with bans and deletions flying around and upsetting everyone. To avoid this, players usually try to learn -- and follow -- their RP partners' conventions.

Sometimes a player will mistakenly tell you something is a rule when it's just a convention. Post count and join date don't give anyone any authority over you, but they can help you judge if they know what they’re talking about.

"They are engaged in a war with a pitiful nation called-" He checked his notes. "Canedian marine, apparently. A population of 7 million or thereabouts."

"It will be done, m'lady." He pressed the hang up button then sent a message to the battlegroup Exarch.

A Templarian fleet headed flat out for the seas of the Royal British States. The fleet was an air craft carrier battlegroup, consisting of the VTN Karasi and her sister ship the Archon (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/67/Enterprise_Cruising.JPG), 5 Victory class destroyers (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/HMCS_Algonquin_%28DDG_283%29.jpg), 5 Sledgehammer-class Battleships (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/ea/BB61_USS_Iowa_BB61_broadside_USN.jpg) and 5 Hangman class frigates (http://www.canadiandefencereview.com/UserFiles/Image/IS2006-0429.jpg). 10 F-35s, armed with AIM-120 AMRAAMs, took off from the Karasi, joining the 30 Rafale Ms already in the air.
The captain of the Karasi sent a message to RBS Naval Command.

In response with the war between you and Canedian Marine and the possible invasion of your homeland, your fleet stationed at Union will be escorted back to your homeland alongside Two Aerial Armada's including transport freighters and four Combine Corps have being dispatched with your fleet back to your kingdom. The commander of the operation are classified and will be meeting with your commanders.

While the main fleet dropped anchor a short distance from Port Royal, Vimes was on a Zodiac dinghy hurtling across the waters. It reached the dock within a minute. Vimes nodded to the marine steering his boat and stepped out onto the port itself. He was 6'2 and wore the marine armor, carrying his helmet under his arm, and had the usual black hair and discomfortingly light green eyes of House Templar

5 hours inbound to RBS

This was an oversize fleet that the Vamperial Kingdom never expected to send. Among them were men, supplies, equipment and aerial warships from the nations of Imperial Fungi and the Kingdom of Lynion. However, the commanders in charge were rumoured to be Vamperial Grand Headmaster Lee, Vamperial Headmaster Tzu and another commander that was classified even to the crew members.

The Vamperial Aircarft Carrier, Valiant, the Hustson and the Lancelon were among the warships numbering close to 140 (includes freighters) were escorting the surface warships below them. If time was on their side, then they could get the Royal British States before the Canedians reached them.

"I assume you're Commander Vimes?" said the King

Vimes snapped into a salute.
"My lord. Commander Void, captain of VTN Karasi and leader of the battlegroup Exarch, sir. An honor to meet you."

"Not really an honor, in my words. Its my honor to receive my allies from faraway lands that had came to aid my country. Seriously brave, and nice, comrades!"

The King accompanied Commander Vimes down the port.

"Maybe we should sit around somewhere and await the arrival of the Lynion fleet."

We have heard your nation is being invaded by a rogue nation. We wish to send three infantry divisions plus three hundred fighters to help out your military.

"I suppose my Admiral Thomas attacked him because CM had betrayed CP by hitting CP's planes when actually they are helping CM in the Pirate War by the coast of CM"

"So Lady Tara was right then." He chuckled. "Well, traitorous actions demand a reprimand." He occasionally turned his head this way and that, taking in the new sights for the Library. "How are things in the States? Other than the looming war of course."

A pair of Blackhawks appear over the waters as the passengers inside of a Blackhawk MK 2 Chopper looked out onto the open seas. Among them was a half cyborg half human looking character with a high ranking offical standing next to him.

"Are you ready?" asked the man in a dark black colour with a black slouch hat.

"I've seen how these Humans work and the Canedians aren't that great of fighters," replied the half cyborg.

The Blackhawks went past as an Interceptor flew past them before heading back to the armada. The cyborg looked around as the werewolf next to him changed back into Human form. The atmosphere was pleasent as the soft sun beamed against the armour plating of the chopper as it landed near the docks. The other one stayed in the air as the MK II with the royal ensigma landed nearby. The Cyborg dismounted and checked his assault rifle before the man in black clothing came beside him.

"I'm ready Vamperial," stated the Cyborg as it escorted Vamperial over to key officals nearby.

"That's good to hear Rathma," replied Vamperial as they stopped nearby some key officals. "You must be the commanders of the RBS forces on the island correct?"

"A hospital ship is being sent as we speak," confirmed Sevtlanka just as her phone rang. Looking at the screen, her eyes widened as she saw who was calling. "One second please," she apologised to the Ambassador as she answered.

"Hello?"
"Miss Beckenbauer, in the past few hours no less than three nations have declared their complete support for the Royal British States. See to it that our commitment is no less."
With that, the line went dead.

Taking a deep breath, Svetlanka adressed the Ambassador again.
"I have just been instructed to offer you whatever you need in order to ensure the defeat of the Canedians."

OOC: Alright, just assume I asked If I could send a naval fleet.

"So Lady Tara was right then." He chuckled. "Well, traitorous actions demand a reprimand." He occasionally turned his head this way and that, taking in the new sights for the Library. "How are things in the States? Other than the looming war of course."

"More and more states are sending diplomatic missions to our country. Maybe they know the power of our allies."

The half cyborg half werewolf stepped forward as it calmy scanned the commanders in front of him.

"They are sending a couple of battleships and aircraft carriers. Not sure where they're coming from."

"A couple of battleships and aircraft carriers?" replied Vamperial with a shocked face. "A handful of warships? A handful..?"

"Man," started Rathma. "The guys an idoit to be sending such few ships with little air-cover. We can sink their carriers and then force him to retreat,"

"I wasn't expecting such few invaders," aploigised Vamperial. "My name is High King Vamperial and I'm the commander of the Vamperial Forces. I can sense that this war is somehow won quickly if we use the right tactics. How many ships and aircraft do you intend to defend the island?"

During this time 140 aerial warships plagued the skies as the Vamperial Aerial Grand Armada arrived while the freighters started to unload troops around key positions on the island.

"ok... so you brought your entire fleet here just to fight off the small CM Navy?" laughed the Admiral

"Nice fleet you got there"

"Its a small fraction of a bigger force and I thought Canedian Marine would've sent at least 50 to 75 warships of his own," started Vamperial. "Its made up of hover technology...and a few other hush, hush weapons,"

Vimes looked out at the mass of airborne ships and growled.
"Oh thats just plain rude. We're working on a crappy little prototype and they turn up with 140 battleready ones?"

"Why, I thank your Emperor for helping our country! We only need a few ships to battle the CM Navy."

At this, Svetlanka looked troubled.
"Ambassador, I have a...confession to make. Our navy, whilst stronger than it has ever been, is still in no shape for a deep-water expedition. All of our ships, save the Primo Frank are modified late-Soviet in nature and cannot stand up to a modern navy. What I can offer you, however, is the use of ground forces to defend your homelands or the use of the Strategic Rocket Forces to decimate your enemy's ports."

The four sleek, grey warships of GN Task Force ‘Shooting Range’ steamed through the calm ocean waters. On the bridge of the flagship, Command Captain John Hay, standing in his dress uniform half unbuttoned, took another sip of his coffee. A Junior officer new to Hay’s command stepped in beside him.

“We’re well under way into international waters sir.”

“Very good Lieutenant,” Hay replied. “I’m going below to change out of this clown costume and have a nap. You have the bridge son. Advise Captain Pennells he is now Command Captain.”

The Captain turned, walking towards the bridge hatch and taking his navy blue dress jacket off completely. He stopped at the door and turned.

“Oh and Lieutenant…”

“Yes Sir?”

“I want the Seahawk crews ready to begin rotating sonar patrols by the time I get back.”

“Yes Sir!”

Hay winked at the beaming officer and finally left the bridge, heading for his bunk.

The small fleet steamed ahead towards Royal British waters.

"I don't think sitting in the port all day will help our war campaign. Its time for action."

"What do you suggest, Your Majesty?"

"Fire some rockets or missiles at the CM fleet. Show them who's boss."

"What rockets or missiles do you suggest, Your Majesty?"

"Maybe some normal rockets. I'm not so good in weapons."

"Right away, Your Majesty."

I've TG'd CM, asking that he RP out the war. If he tells us that he's giving up this account and posts in another one, then I think it would be okay for us to conquer this country. Otherwise, we have to wait and see what he does.

- declare a retcon and say that none of this has ever happened

We may have some confusion here because there are two different kinds of "closed" in NS.

The Original Poster (OP) has thread ownership. They can ask the mods, at any time, to close a thread. When a thread is closed, it's locked: all action stops. Whether the action that has happened up to that point affects the nation's history is up to the players involved, but many will follow the particular forum's conventions (more abt conventions later).

The other “closed” is when a player, at the start of a thread, writes in the title that the thread is closed to all but (named nations). Mods usually enforce this when the player requests it (I can't actually remember any time we haven't). Generally, players don’t put “Closed: Attn X” unless they have discussed it with X’s poster, or have played with X often enough to know they will respond in such a way that it is possible to keep the RP to just the two of them.

If you want to RP in a world in which war between two nations has no repercussions in other nations, the rules (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) let you and the mods will support your right to do so. Remember, though, that it takes two to tango: if the player you have named in your title wishes his allies to join in, he has every right to ask them. He may even have previously RPd agreements in which they join automatically whenever he's threatened. We can't force him to play any other way. That's why people are telling you to wait for RBS's response, even though you say the thread is "closed" to just you and him.

Conventions: All forums have conventions: they’re not in the rules, as such, but if you disregard a convention, players who follow it won’t play with you. Some players will try to explain conventions to you politely. Others may dogpile you and a flame war may break out, with bans and deletions flying around and upsetting everyone. To avoid this, players usually try to learn -- and follow -- their RP partners' conventions.

Sometimes a player will mistakenly tell you something is a rule when it's just a convention. Post count and join date don't give anyone any authority over you, but they can help you judge if they know what they’re talking about.

If he says the war never happened, it never happened. RP requires the consent of both sides - just as you had the right to bring in allies, he has the right to end it.
