COMRADE LEADER PASSES AWAY!!!

With deep sadness and regret, we announce the passing away of Comrade Leader, Premier of the State Council, General Secretary of the Party of the Karuchean Revolution, Founder of the International Co-Operation Pact of Military Regimes and the Council for Mutual Economic Advancement and the founder of Karuchean Military Socialism, Omar Bakdash.

After writing a letter to our closest comrades-in-arms in Jimzraway, our leader suffered a heart-attack. He was found only an hour later, but too late to save him. All state institutions shall be in mourning for the next month.

The news was first broken this morning, over all public intercom systems, disrupting the Ahmadia FC vs. Bakdash Construction Club match as fans and players wept openly.

As-per the Constitution of Karuchea, the current Vice-Premier, Amani Sinde is now the acting Premier of Karuchea. Comrade Malik Akkad will fill the position of Vice-Premier. Malik Akkad, as Vice-Secretary of the Party is now the acting General Secretary of the Party of the Karuchean Revolution and has appointed Minister of Culture Ahmad Aflak as the Vice-Secretary.

Later today, Comrade Malik Akkad will deliver his first speech as General Secretary.

Despite our differing views and stance on the Daytanistan cultural revolution the Bulgislavian Workers Party feels it should send its Condolences to Karuchea for losing a great Statesman

The Pracha Armed Revolutionary Republic announces its deep sadness. We also declare a national day of morning for Premier Bakdash.

In the Pracha nation, we knew Bakdash as a Comrade, Leader of the international Socialist, Communist, Labor and Left-Wing movements and a close-friend. His first involvement with us was when he was a young officer and came into Prachanda to aid us in ending our civil war. He developed a reputation as kind and efficient, always putting the citizens of Prachanda high above even his own soldiers. As he became Premier, the relations between our two nations became very close as we joined ICOPMR and the CMEA. He has aided our economic development and reconstruction and our ideological development.

Without Bakdash and Karuchea, many Socialist movements and revolutions would have failed, their countless and timeless intervention to aid the world socialist and world peace movement have changed the balance of forces forever in favor of world socialism and world peace.

We promise a full continuation of policies and pledge friendship forever under the wisdom and guidance of Karuchea and world socialism and communism.

As a standing member of ICOPMR, the loss of this great statesman is of great sadness to us here in Oseato. The Federation of Oseato extends it's most sincere condolences to the people of Karuchea. If there is anything that Oseato can do, please let us know. We would also like to know when the funeral cermonies for Omar Bakdash are scheduled so that we may send a delegate.

Speech of new General Secretary of the Party of the Karuchean Revolution and Premier of the State Council, Malik Akkad to the Karuchean Nation broadcast live by the Karuchean State News Agency:

"It is with deep sadness that I give this speech, for this speech only comes due to the death of our great leader and the greatest leader who has ever lived, not just for Karuchea, for also the world. From birth until adulthood, every Karuchean child is taught the history of the Leader and the Revolution, but I will go over this still, for it is most important that we remember now.

Despite gaining her independance in the 1950s, the Karuchean nation was poor, impoverished and lead by reactionary feudalism and monarchy. This all changed in 1977, when our heroic leader and the revolutionaries overthrew the monarchy and established the Karuchean People's Republic. Announcing over all intercom systems in 1977: "The Days of Feudalism, of reaction, of monarchy and backwardsness and poverty are declared over. From now on Karuchea and her people have stood up, we will not accept Western troops or Western money, we are our own people and this revolution advances forever the independance of Karuchea."

Adopting the science of Marxism-Leninism as the guiding ideology of the revolution and state, the Karuchean Party of Communists was formed. Advancing quickly and steadfast, the revolution annihilated feudalism and reaction, establishing a brilliant new, Socialist society, free of all capitalist modes of production. In 1992, as the World Socialist movement by and large collapsed as a result of set-backs and reversals in most Socialist countries, Karuchea reflected on this. Omar Bakdash, at the 13th Party Congress said that: "Why did Socialism take set-backs? Because it was based on subjective wishes, Socialism however, is a Science, so how can this be? It is because countries failed to take into account their own national heritage and culture; we have made some errors in this as well, therefore, Karuchean culture, heritage and values should be promoted. The victory of our national culture over Western deviance is the victory of Socialism!"

Advancing Socialism as a guiding light, Karuchea became a beacon of Real, Existing and Standing Socialism. Advancing the Socialist cause through aiding most Communist, Worker, Labour and Socialist movements in the World, including by direct Karuchean military in Pracha, Myakka amongst others, Karuchea stood as a vanguard of World Revolution. However, one thing was not solved, with industry becoming very-little in advanced countries and all businesses moving to finance capital, technology and computer based systems, old Proletarian industry and peoples shrank, so how could they be the leaders of World Revolution? The Leader answered this in his now famous "Address to the World Communist Movement": "The only proper and decent force for advancing World Revolution and World Socialism is the most patriotic and oppressed force, the military. The military is the force which is sent to die by imperialists, they form the poor, unprivelaged and slaves of Capitalism, yet they also are the most patriotic, longing to see their country full of justice, freedom and equality. In a Socialist society, this Army becomes the People's Army and is the sole great force defending and protecting the Revolution from both external enemies and internal traitors. The army must be the vanguard of both Revolution and Construction."

From that day in 1997 onward, Karuchea advanced under "Karuchean Military Socialism" or "Bakdash Theory". The Karuchean Party of Communists was transformed into the Party of the Karuchean Revolution and the Karuchean People's Republic was renamed the Socialist National Republic of Karuchea. This thought is the very key to the success of Karuchea now and forever.

In 2000, as the world became increasingly united as a result of technology, the Leader announced to the world: "We can no longer pretend that the world is divided into regions anymore, rather, it is a single world in which we must rely on each other, on mutual co-operation and peace." taking the international stage, Karuchea with its friends and allies formed the International Co-Operation Pact of Military Regimes, now known worldwide for solving international crises and wars, such as the recent one in Izhevskia. Bakdash noted that: "ICOPMR must become a vanguard force, not just for a single ideology, but for the hopes and dreams of an entire world. We must strive to permanently secure World Peace. Petty-wars and disputes which arise out of national and international contradictions can be solved only through the world arena we now live in. ICOPMR will always keep that in-mind and will seek to help aid in the solving of contradictions through the most peaceful means available." Advancing World Peace on the international stage and enshrining World Peace in the Karuchean, PKR and ICOPMR constitution, Leader Bakdash was a true humanitarian and peace-advocate. However, he was always deeply pragmatic, noting "We stand for World Peace, and always advocate peaceful solutions to contradictions, but sometimes war and violence is inevitable and can only be put to a stop by armed action. This is why Karuchea and ICOPMR stand guard."

In 2006, he announced and began the formation of the Council for Mutual Economic Advancement, an economic pact and program by which Karuchea gives money to war-weary and collapsing economies as well as to fraternal allies and Socialist nations. In this way, Karuchea decided to fundamentally help great allies such as Jimzraway and others recover from disasters, either natural or due to other means.

In 2008, the Leader devoted himself to overcoming the inevitable split between the Karuchean and Daytan Socialist revolutions. However in this the Leader made a great discovery, realizing that Ultra-Leftist, Anti-Cultural lines were not just revolutionary fanaticism, but were in-fact Ultra-Rightist excuses for destroying the Nation, Party and ultimately Revolution, he was given no choice but to send Karuchea and some ICOPMR forces to aid in the restoration of Real Socialism in Daytan: "Their ultra-left rhetoric disguises their ultra-right intentions to abolish Daytan values and ultimately, will move on to the destruction of the Vanguard Party and Socialism, as "Cultural Revolutions" always attempt to do. Therefore, the Party in Daytan has fundamentally changed colours from "Red" to "White", as a leader of the World Socialist and World Peace movement, the Socialist National Republic of Karuchea can waste no time in its attempts to salvage and restore Socialism in Daytan." It was after discussing such with our closest comrades-in-arms, Prachanda, Volzgrad and specifically, Jimzraway, that our leader passed away.

He devoted his entire life to the Revolution in Karuchea and the World Revolution. Men die, but ideas cannot. Our Leader, Comrade Omar Bakdash will never be forgotten, neither his great deeds nor ideas will ever perish, but will carry on in the world movement and specifically, in the great nation of Karuchea."

OOC: Heh, thought that the memorial speech rp should be the pinnacle of state-propaganda in praise of the former-leader. Expect Akkad to make major reforms later.
