A member of the MilNet Joint-Venture Exports©?, the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives©? is an organization of collectivized means of productions between all the Third Spanish States workers who manufacture and conceptualized instruments and methods of defense and fight. Composed by all land warfare cooperatives, each directly or indirectly involved in the sector, like the Special Arms Confederated Industries, Cotarm, FSoft, Tienda del Coche, the MilNet Private Defense Agency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_defense_agency) and expanding internationally to encompass organizations like the Brazilian Engesa among many others.

It provides excellent, cost-effective high-performance technologies for the discerning buyer, aware of how modernity makes the use of older weaponry ever challenging. Therefore, there will be no resale of old, traditionally-held weapons like the AK-47 more than superseded by our FA-65 assault rifle and by other weapons from modern arms industries which offer different pros and cons compared to our products. Thus, if you are looking for wasting money buying inferior weapons, armors and artilleries of the 20th century that you could simply manufacture or clone in your own nation at a much lower cost, look elsewhere.

Now if you wish to make a fruitful investment for your national or organizational defense, and for purchasing innovative land warfare solutions you'll see nowhere else you came to the right place. Everything here is made with a major care over reliability, flexibility, mobility and modularity without sacrificing protection or firepower, and here also are offered exclusive and innovative products to the market that no other company could provide, taking advantage of avant-garde concepts and unconventional approaches to tactical concerns that give excellent and new tactical opportunities for the wise. Our products, specially armors and artillery, are optimal for mobile warfare and for strategies and tactics based on blitzkrieg, deep operations or on the adaptation of guerrilla warfare and/or People's War to a regular Army, although they also offer a worthy performance on more defensive and less mobile approaches.

Finally, these is one of the few places where not only products are offered, but also services. There are several military consultants you can contact through the Commonwealth that can help to upgrade your strategical directives and army to modern warfare. As a freebie recommendation, we advise all that anything reminiscent of trench and static warfare is by large obsolete in modernity, and like an old motto says, the best defense is offense.

Note that the due to several political and humanitarian reasons, the Commonwealth of Land Warfare severely restricts the sale of some of its products and of all its services to nations associated with Stalinism, Fascism, National-Socialism or other extreme forms of authoritarianism, although only a direct state of war between the Confederacy, one of its allies and the given nation ensues the total embargo of all Third Spanish States industries to the same. As at the moment the state of war between the People's Republic of Spain and the Confederacy drew hostiles towards the free civilization, the following supporters of PRS are under embargo:

Equally, nations known for upholding libertarian values, regardless of their economic axis being at the "left" or at the "right", and/or who have expressed their compromise to support the defense of the sovereignty of the Confederacy against foreign threats, will be naturally prioritized by the Commonwealth, with the following nations being likely to receive discounts and promotional services for any purchases they perform as of now:

On the matter of Domestic Production Rights, with rare exceptions, the same are only offered to nations with democratic, transparent backgrounds which have a good ranking in corruption perceptions indexes. Regarding value, for nations which seek to use any of our technologies as standard issue, domestic production rights will be negotiated and scaled according to the given nation capability and projections for the given duration of the same, and will last for five years. The cost of renovation of the given DPR will be based on projections of how many further units you wish to build, although except for infantry arms, we have established a five-year maximum schedule of upgrades over our existing technologies, making the purchase of DPR for the upgrades that shall come more interesting and more cost-effective compared to keeping the production rights for the non-upgraded technologies.

If you have an idea of what you need, it is not necessary to search for individual items in the lists. Simply point out the technology in your military you would like to upgrade, the basic strategic and geographical aspects of your nation which influence on your needs and we will recommend the technologies to you. Also, you can make large scale purchases with much more convenience through our packages (http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14069420&postcount=4)

A new sector of the market, UGVs promise to revolutionize warfare and make real a future of warfare involve robots. Although far from the fictions which depict inefficient biped machines that are completely useless next to tanks, most of the "robots" of the Confederacy shall be tracked, small enough to fit inside most IFVs midsections, nimble, low-profile and pack enough firepower to support infantry and Special Forces, having a traverse superior to that of larger vehicles. Future projects include unmanned tanks and artillery. As it is related to the MEV-135 Librecielo, the Libertad is at the Artillery section of Armored Fighting Vehicles catalogue instead, but also is a UGV.

Military Consulting Services

Through the MilNet Private Defense Agency, the Commonwealth can offer Military Consulting services to democratic nations which require an upgrade into their strategic and tactical doctrines. By contracting the MilNet you can both improve your military capabilities and efficiency during peace, or receive the support of war veterans to plan your operations during war. Our expertise lies with mobility warfare, like in blitzkrieg and deep operations, and in Special Forces and Special Operations. Prices will vary depending on the situation, whether it is for peacetime or wartime operations and the involved scale of the consulting. The table below exemplifies some of the variables:

Peacetime: 1x over base price
Wartime: 3x over base price
- Against totalitarian nation: 50% off
- Against anarchists: Divide by zero
- Against fascist paramilitaries: 25% off

Involving a division: 1x over base price
Involving an army: 10x over base price
Involving multiple armies: 20x over base price

Multipliers of scale and nature of the consulting services are not multiplied, but summed. The base price is fully negotiable and depends on multiple factors to be decided. We have a signed compromise to return your investment in the case our military consulting proves ineffective, something which shall not happen.

Final Note: Items with their prices colored in Red are restricted sales products. Only nations with an honorable international reputation respecting non-disclosure agreements, stable and transparent democratic governments are given access to their purchase.

(OOC Rules:

Please do your own math.
Remember that money does not grow in trees and to check your nation economy (http://nseconomy.thirdgeek.com/) before making purchases.
Roleplay it and make your post In-character rather than "WTB 4 1337 tanks for my Armiez"
The price of DPRs will vary depending on how well you RP a negotiation.
Please give OOC feedback and criticisms, the "must be IC" rule is only for purchase orders.
The Military Consulting basically involves a "consultant" getting to your nation to overview its military operations in either war and peace, offering advices to ensure victory in case of war or to improve your military in case of peace. It is basically a service which requires a separate IC thread and a roleplay to occur.

Emergent Technologies Glossary

This is an optional read for those seeking deeper understanding of some of the advantages offered by the newest technologies applied to our products.

Caseless Ammunition: Where conventional ammunition requires brass cases which surround the round to link it with its propellant load and primer, a caseless ammunition uses a chemical bonding agent to link the projectile with its primer, and is usually wrapped around a solid propellant charge cast into the shape of the same. Technical details aside, caseless ammunition achieves basically two advantages: it can become even fifty-percent more lightweight than a conventional brass cased ammunition and it does not eject empty cases, which specially in the case of a hidden sniper, is a quite important tactical advantage. The downside to is that where the ejected brass cases take some of the heat away with them, the barrels of guns using caseless ammunitions are more prone to overheating and reliability issues, requiring a higher standard of weapon quality to compensate. Such is the reason why all Confederacy weaponry able to support caseless ammunition also can support telescoped polymer cased ammunition. Which to choose will depend on the specific needs. For low intensity and counter-terrorist operations where combats are not expect to last more than a few hours, caseless ammunition will rarely present issues, but for a total war where battles can last for entire days, then polymer cased ammunitions is more suitable despite increased weights.

Electrothermal-chemical technology: Using the heated plasma of a cartridge triggered by an electrical discharge to fire a projectile, it stands as an intermediary between the now commonplace chemical propelled weapon technologies and the still heavily experimental coilguns and railguns. Mastery of ETC is considered essential for a nation before the latter could ever become realities in a distant future. On performance, ETC guns have better muzzle velocities, more predictable reactions and higher efficiency than traditional guns, and are essential for any armored vehicle to be able of defeating modern armors. They can use either solid or liquid propellants, with the latter being less stable and predictable, but allowing increasingly variable muzzles to extend the simultaneous impact capability of gun artilleries. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrothermal-chemical_technology

Intelliview Display System: The Intelliview technology allows any type of military unit, be it a tank, a ship or an aircraft, to receive and process the visual feed of their own sensors and cameras, of several different external sources like radars and unmanned vehicles and integrate all such data into a configurable, understandable whole to ensure maximum awareness in accordance to a network-centric warfare doctrine. Capable of simulating top-down views, and of processing graphically and textually the estimations of several informational systems like for example those responsible for informing the ammunition left, estimating the trajectory of unguided weapons or the effectiveness of all the vehicle weapons against a given target of known armor properties and speed, it's also the smaller brother of the tactical theater display system and guarantees a much superior line of sight, accuracy and awareness in the battlefield, specially for armored fighting vehicles.

Matrix composite: Initially explored in the United States LSAT program (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightweight_Small_Arms_Technologies), matrix composites are either based on ceramic or metal, involving the combination of materials like Alumina-Silica fiber and Aluminum to create a new synthetic material that can be applied to the construction of components for chemical propelled and electrothermal-chemical propelled weaponry, particularly of their barrels. As a replacement for the more traditional steel, it is more lightweight and more resilient, reducing the weight of the weapon it is applied at and increasing its sustainable rate of fire. Their disadvantage is that all matrix composites, due to their complex manufacture process, are more expensive than steel. But for developed economies who seek a standing army, the higher prices are compensated by the superior operational capabilities of weapons which use this technology. They are also used with good effectiveness as a non-reactive tank armor and replacement for Chobham and other older composite armors. Source: http://www.dtic.mil/ndia/2005smallarms/tuesday/christou.pdf

Tactical Theater Display: The apogee of network-centric warfare, this is a component of any Confederacy mobile command center for leaders to operate into large-scale theaters of war in both land, sea and air, offering an unequaled level of information awareness made possible by both the capability of receiving information and of filtering and shaping it into a readable and understandable form. The image is given by a large 80x60 inches widescreen display or similar, which also supports touchscreen technology, from where a fully three-dimensional abstraction of the battlefield coupled with tactical and strategic maps, which also indicate the status and ETA of supply convoys compete for space into a full fledged strategic suite. The TTDs also contain a text-to-speech engine and can be used to set or change waypoints and objectives for nearby platoons or naval flotillas to converge through on-the-fly, in a manner of conveying visual information only possible before between "armchair generals" having fun with virtual military simulations, although it is an entirely professional display system. There is no fluff on its hardware renderer, and vehicles and detected objects, including terrain and static buildings, are displayed into a 3D wireframe mode with no textures to avoid unnecessary consumption of processing power. Through touchscreen, coordinates informed verbally or an user interface, the commander can thus set missions, waypoints and objectives for several platoons, fireteams and squads with little delay, while receiving equally several informational updates on the situation of the battlefield as a whole, allowing thus critical decisions to be made with more screen of time before the "it's too late" situation comes due to the rapidness information can be conveyed, relayed and transmitted through this manner. Squadrons of unmanned aerial vehicles with waypoint navigation support also can be given waypoints using this system. There are fictional examples which envisioned this sort of integration like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJd7ejduMsM).The TTD is not as fancy, but much more functional and flexible. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network-centric_warfare

Telescoped Polymer Case: Using recent developments in synthetic materials, it became possible to develop polymers with enough structural and thermal properties to replace conventional brass cases, with reductions in bullet weight which can reach 30% compared to the latter. Telescoped ammunition is where the case envelops exactly the entire projectile rather than leaving its tip exposed and reduces the length of the round. As a con, weapons designed for this type of ammunition have physical properties which make it little viable to employ any type of metallic cased ammunition into them. However, thanks to the development a an pre-ejection port which ensures that the the final port will only open when a cased ammunition is fired, and to similar physical properties, weapons designed for this type of ammunition in the Confederacy also support caseless ammunition. Brigades (http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14069476&postcount=6)

These packages are intended to offer the entire equipment necessary for a division or brigade. As for the training and organization, it lies as your nation military responsibility, although our military consulting services can help you to establish it. The available equipment in such packages also allows the implementation of network-centric warfare.

Armored Divisions

Armored Divisions combine a significant amount of armor and helicopter gunships with a high level of mechanization for their infantry, having enough vehicles to rapidly transport the entire division, and are optimal for a mobility focus in warfare, be it for an elastic defense or for a blitzkrieg. They have a disadvantage however, for their mobility comes at a cost: they are more expensive than the Infantry Divisions for which packages are below, and also are less combat-effective than Infantry divisions in cramped and uneven areas like jungles and cities. The following armored division packages are available:

Generalist Combined Arms Division

“Jack of all trades, master of none”, a generalist combined arms division will perform relatively well against any situation, for the specializations lie with smaller units like brigades, platoons and squads which can be deployed according to the situation at hand. It is the most suited for all-terrain operations, for its significant amount of infantry and light high-mobility vehicles allows it to operate better in mountains, cities and jungles compared to other armored divisions. Equally, it is the most economical division of all available packages.

Main Battle Division:

A Main Battle Division focus is the destruction of enemy tanks and fast conquest of terrain, and is the staple of a Blitzkrieg operation. As such it excels in open terrain combat, like in plains and deserts, but is not very effective against more geographically hostile areas. However, like proved in the Ardennes, a wise tactician with the proper logistical preparations can overcome such limitations and surprise the enemy by coming from where one is least expected.

Armored Assault Division:

Where a Main Battle Division seeks to conquer open terrain and advance through the weak points at an strategic level, an Armored Assault Division is intended to breakthrough an enemy defensive line faster than spelling “Maginot”, for sometimes, focusing too much into avoiding tougher defenses might lure your forces to a strategically disadvantageous area and away from key provinces of the enemy territory before they can encircle the defensive lines. This division packs the highest firepower of all armored divisions, but also is heavily intensive in logistics, slower and bears the most significant parcel of the terrain disadvantages.

Cavalry Division

An Air-Land Cavalry Division is capable of significantly faster deployment compared to other conventional armored divisions, having a higher relative quantity of armored cars, stealth tanks and light armored vehicles than any other, and being better suited for uneven terrain than all but Generalist Combined Arms Divisions, specially thanks to their much more effective air cavalry. It is perfect for tactical encirclement, hit and run tactics and for securing poorly guarded areas before the enemy reinforcements arrival, being also as integral to a blitzkrieg as a main battle division. It also excels in non-conventional warfare. Its primary disadvantage is a lack of ground firepower and resilience compared to the other divisions, with both traded off for speed and mobility, although gunships partly compensate for the lack of main battle tanks of such division, with the offset their cost, and of requiring better air defenses and escorts to be effective, like the CL-32 Buitre air superiority fighter ( http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=554394). A more economical version, more akin to armored cavalry than to Air-land cavalry, with a greatly reduced air cavalry regiment is available as well, albeit logically more lacking in firepower.

Infantry Divisions

An infantry division has a primarily defensive role, and is suitable for elastic defense tactics. Although infantry units will make the backbone of any army, “pure” infantry divisions are virtually impossible, and basically, like all modern divisions, armors, albeit in a smaller and less significant role than that they have in armored divisions, are present. Regarding overall offensive capabilities, most types of infantry divisions are particularly limited by their slower speed, and all of them are ineffective compared to armors into direct engagements. However, in urban, jungle and mountain warfare, specially regarding specialized forces, Infantry divisions are usually quite well suited for an attack, although a combined arms division can safely replace them into all offensive operations.

Motorized Infantry

All modern infantry divisions are motorized. The idea of divisions that depend on walking on foot or horse-drawn transport is only not obsolete for militaries that would unfortunately be unable to purchase the products of the Commonwealth due to seriously under-funded military forces. Speed is of essence for a successful defense, and thus, the most basic infantry division is that made by motorized forces, which can benefit from the allied infrastructure for the defense of a nation. However, in the poor infrastructure conditions and rough terrains that an offensive would pass through, they are significantly slow, although they can be very useful for taking over cities.

Mechanized Infantry

Using a large amount of armored personell carriers or infantry fighting vehicles, mechanized infantry divisions are significantly more suitable for advancing through unfriendly and rough terrain than motorized infantry, making of them quite useful to accompany offensives. On the other hand, Mechanized Infantry is more expensive and logistics intensive compared to a motorized one, and shares part of the disadvantage of armored divisions on rough terrains.

Garrison

Pure infantry divisions might still be useful for purely defensive reserves based on their sheer cost-effectiveness , and thus, divisions with a more limited transport capability might be used to guard territories distant from the main front against infiltration attacks and possible attempts to opening new fronts. Such divisions can be considered garrisons, and are quite effective into protecting difficult terrains like jungles, mountains and cities. Their equipment is partly optimized for close quarters battle.

Militia

Militias formed among the population will inevitably lack any form of vehicle other than technicals and many of the more specialized and heavier arms of professional militaries like mortars and artillery, however, resorting to improvised explosive devices and to their knowledge of their own cities, militias can give a major aid to professional military divisions into defending a city, and conduct prolonged guerrilla warfare to wear down the enemy forces and strategically damage their supply chains. This is the most economical of all available division packages.

Mechanized Airborne Assault Division

The concept of Mechanized Paratroopers is not new, but its successful implementation has taken a time since the original ideas by the time of the Second World War. A Mechanized Airborne Assault Division packs specialized vehicles, weapons and ordnances, tailored to be air-droppable, either with rocket-assisted landings or by parachute-only drops. This division basic means of mechanization are the M135 MacGavin in its Infantry Fighting Vehicle version and the VBM-47 Capivara in its Armored Personell Carrier version, which make for the bulk of its vehicles. Due to its heavy specialization level, it is a logistically expensive division, and also, its optimal deployment as an airborne division is dependant on air supremacy. Due to its very nature, such division is able to bypass static defenses at ease once air supremacy is achieved, and excels at strategic encirclement. Other than the mentioned logistical costs and air supremacy dependence, it also is limited by the constraints of airborne transports, and thus is lacking in firepower for its armors and infantry alike. It’s strongly advisable for their operations to if possible always be supported by fast air superiority and close air support aircrafts, like the CL-32 Buitre air superiority fighter ( http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=554394) and the CB-1 Miaja close air support fighter ( http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=565892).

Greetings, first of all, as the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives in an ethical organization, which does not overprice its products, selling the domestic production rights of its small arms at abusive prices above even those for long-range anti-shipping missiles, we have defined that, considering the size and dimensions of your military forces, the very specialized nature of the EC-3S, and the close ties between our people, the value of 160 million of standard currency is adequate for the acquisition of its domestic production rights. As we do not sell separate DPRs for each variant of one of our models, you shall by extension also purchase the DPRs of the EC-3, EC-3T and EC-3ST shotguns, at the mentioned price. A digital document with the nondisclosure agreement is being sent, for as part of the contract neither the Free Republic of Lamoni, nor any of its private organizations, shall resell or attempt to reverse-engineer any purchased technology from the Confederacy. Equally, the blueprints and technical specifications for the four models shall be transmitted in multiple, heavily encrypted messages with split files, immediately after the payment is confirmed. The DPR shall have with no expiration date, and once a new technology with the same role of the EC-3 compact shotgun is developed, in accordance to future advances, it shall serve as a major discount factor should the Free Republic decide to upgrade its DPR for modernity. The ceramic and metal matrix composites used for its barrel fabrication can be imported from the Confederacy, or produced locally through an additional DPR for its process and schematics industrial technology of 2 billions of standard currency, in accordance to the fact it is a multi-purpose technology, with both civilian and military uses, which has required many years of research to be optimized to an economical cost-effectiveness, and can be applied to the development of your indigenous weapons, saving billions that would be required for researching it from scratch, and also saving the priceless time.

However, an unlimited Production and Sales Right, which we reserve only to those nations we have a high trust of, like the Free Republic of Lamoni, can be acquired by the additional signing of a special contract with the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives, which shall allow for the internal sales and export of the product to markets which the Free Republic and its organizations are more logistically able to attend due to geographical reasons than the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives, provided the participation fee of 50% over the net profits acquired from the sales of the EC-3 Compact Shotgun. A similar unlimited PSR can also be acquired for the export, import and internal sales of matrix composites through the same terms.

Thank you for your choice!

Greetings! The Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives has agreed into signing the agreement as mentioned, and will be providing the requested number of weapons in either monthly intervals, or at once, depending on your convenience, although that an one-time yearly shipment will be much more cost-effective and allow for us to back the shipping charges, while for monthly deliveries will require the payment of shipping fees. In accordance, we are currently sending a digital document with a proposed set of regulations for the contract, with what is standard among them, and will remotely sign it with our digital signature once the same is signed, resuming the immediate shipment of either the yearly or monthly amount towards Allanea, depending on your preferences. Equally, due to positive relations between our lands and the lack of taxation systems, we have taken the liberty of offering a discount, reducing the contract yearly payment from 1.4 to 1.36 billion. Due to the scale of the contract, we shall also provide, should it interest the strategic goals of your company, free of charge marketing guidelines, sales strategy programs and business consulting services to ensure the successful introduction of our products in the Allanean market.

As for maintenance services, although open to negotiation, we have financially concluded that a fee of 9% over the contract value is adequate, leading to a total maintenance services cost of only 122.4 millions per year, which is relatively cost-effective for the number of weapons, translating into a yearly cost of $240 per weapon, which is equivalent of $20 per month. For a less constant maintenance service, individual maintenance routines can be contracted at a fee of $400,000 per day for a total maintenance and repair run, which includes a promotional service of maintenance for an equivalent number of three models of choice which are not weapons of the Commonwealth, or at the unitary cost of $15 per day for each gun which maintenance is needed.

However, if you later decide to increase your import contract to reach a non-discounted value equal or larger than 5 billions, all maintenance services shall be provided free of charge.

Thank you for your choice!

Official Message of the NeoRuger Firearms Importing Company

Thank you for your kind and rapid reply. As you understand, your firearms are destined for a retail sales process within Allanea itself, for private consumers ranging from the savvy surburbanite to the backwoods farmer or wealthy dinosaur hunter. We will happily sign a 9% custmer support contract at a later point, however please understand that as of now, we believe it will be undesirable to increase our order as we are not certain in the level of success that these firearms will have in Allanea. Would it be possible for us to cooperate with you in the promotion and marketing of these fine products?

We identified a niche for the RBA as a general purpose home-defense rifle/militia rifle, for your various shotguns as tools of home defense and (to a lesser degree) hunting and pest control (the EC-3 is going to sell well in that category), and for the RAM-37 as a weapon for both the varmint-hunting and Extremely Large Game hunting community. The RFDA is going to be marketed as a 'SHTF rifle to residents of the Pobeda and Western Axackal states, and as an armament for various militias.

Should you have additional marketing suggestions for us, we will be extremely thankful. Perhaps we should send some people over for consultation?

We agree the terms that you have set for our acquisition of the DPR's that we have requested, and the required paperwork has been returned to you, properly filled out. The required money has also been sent.

We are also interested in the unlimited PSR for both the EC-3 Compact shotgun, and the Matrix Composites. Please let us know if there is any additional monetary costs for our obtaining of PSR rights. (OOC: Would this allow me to sell the EC-3 in my storefront? Just a question)

Lamoni. The total PSR allows you to sell it in your own storefront provided you don't attempt to compete with the MilNet through cheaper prices, where 50% of its net profits would go to the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives. Although I don't really need it, if you sum the sales in your storefront, I'd like to be informed of the revenues of PSR'd products. As for price, Third Spanish States labor is, if not the most, one of the most expensive labor forces of the world, so if Lamoni has different societal conditions, profit margins will be higher.)

Our goal is to ultimately free all Pataari people, even those who have been displaced to nations far oversea due to past wars. But that is a tall order, and to do that we must take to the South and free the people of Anuarsor, Unvasiktok, Paliaaq, and Isinanu. We have the interest to buy one Mechanized Mountaineer Division Packages in which to help take the mountainous areas of Paliaaq. In addition, great plains lay between Kivuk and Anuarsor. We could greatly use the aid of a Main Battle Division to take that land. In total we wish for a Mechanized Mountaineer Division Packages and a Main Battle Division at a total of 23.7 billion USD. But due to our position we cannot buy ST120-B Sino 2A1 Stealth MBTs, so we must replace them with Sino 2A1 MBTs leading the total to be 24.596 million. And due to the support of a few Trade Masters who wish to keep their identities covered like their faces in anonymity, we are fully able to fund such a transaction. A peek on what shall come

Sino 1B Stealth Tank: Currently in active development stage, the Sino 1B upgrade shall become next step in the development of low profile tanks for unconventional warfare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconventional_warfare) and for delving into environments where most armored vehicles offer limitations, like mountains (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountain_Warfare) and jungles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungle_Warfare). Its primary upgrade shall be in weaponry, as it shall bear the new EMTIS-L120B (http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13944693&postcount=28) low signature, burst-fire capable 120mm tank gun. Also, the design shall count with practical radar absorbing material applications, and include its own anechoic chambers and a composites based set of reactive and non-reactive armors which shall be more more lightweight than the current armor system used by its predecessors without significant losses in protection, and may allow it to become airborne without its crew inside, by using rocket-assisted landing, which, combined with the amphibious capabilities of current versions, would make of it an even better choice for complementing Special Forces than what the Sino 1A1 currently offers for them. Other features shall include a new diesel synfuel powered gas turbine based upon the composite turboshaft used by the HC-1 Quijote Heavy Gunship, and a drivetrain with a far greater axle ratio and torque shall, including off-road features of the M135 MacGavin like an integrated active differential (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_differential#Active_differentials), something that only some professional off-road vehicles and the Ferrari F430 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_F430) also have, to allow it to achieve superb mobility and off-road performance, to which improvements are essential because of the hit and run tactics it is optimized for. Two prototypes currently exist in concurrent R&D programs, one of them being a completely unmanned vehicle, with a far lower profile than the manned prototype, but with its own set of challenges that may not be overcome, thus making of the manned version the only viable choice, although at the current stage of development, it can't be said for certain whether it will be a manned or unmanned ground vehicle.

Sino 2A2 Main Battle Tank: Currently in conceptual phase, this next upgrade shall take advantage of a proposed 120mm tank gun featuring a Variable Pressure and Muzzle Liquid Propellant System, capable of giving it MRSI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artillery#MRSI) capabilities in indirect fire for extending its mission profile, while it shall be fitted with, while both remotely operated AA-70 GPMG turrets shall be replaced by a pair of ZM145 heavy machinegun turrets, increasing its offensive capabilities against close air support aircrafts and hostile LAVs and infantry. Although the changes from the Sino 2A1 to the 2A2 will not be as radical as that of the Sino 1A Stealth tank to its 1B version, it will still provide a much needed upgrade given the ever changing nature of warfare.

Cáscara 3A1 Heavy Assault Tank: In conceptual phase, the next Heavy Assault Tank of the Confederacy shall delve into the limits of ballistics for electrothermal-chemical guns and thus face many structural challenges, packing a gun system which shall offer even greater muzzle pressures, and by extension a muzzle velocity on the limits of ETC technology for their ammunitions, like the 135APN"anocrusher" APFSDS rounds. Its active protection system shall integrate not only conventional concussion grenades, miniature chaffs and flares, and laser disruptors, but also a set of miniature rolling airframe decoy missiles developed specifically for it and launched from slanted launch cells inside its frame, to counter the ever growing threat of top attack ammunition. Coupled with its heavy armor, and a larger length:width ratio hull which exchanges part of its optimal handling performance, for a reduced frontal and overall profile and surface area, the next Cáscara shall become an even more formidable fortress buster, and shall pack no less than three man portable autocannons and a small set of slanted vertical launch cells, besides its main gun, coupled with superior protection without weight increases.

Standard Unmanned Vehicle Control Interface: The commander gun is believed to be a remainder of past armored in warfare by the MilNet, and loses importance in face of modern warfare. With this in mind, future armored vehicles of the Confederacy beyond the M135 Mobile Command Center variant, when possible, shall be provided with a system which allows for the commander to remotely operate tactical UGVs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UGV), UAVs or UCAVs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UCAV) for reconaissance, close air support and hunter-killer missions in support of the armored offensive, giving superb situational awareness, and a "commander gun" far more flexible than the traditional one, albeit of course, more expensive.

Are Unmanned Ground Vehicles the Future? The Milnet cannot yet answer this question, for although proving itself in battle, and ensuring thousands of soldiers will return home alive by facing dangerous conditions in the battlefield that once were tasked to infantry, the Miliciano still is limited, and requires greater logistical support to become a truly effective combatant compared to an human soldier. Nevertheless, many proposals for full scale unmanned armored vehicles are currently in conceptual phase, and expected to begin development in the next five to ten years, or once certain technological limitations of our modern age are surpassed. The Milnet invests in artificial intelligence research for both civilian and military purposes, hoping that one day it shall not only change the face of warfare, but of the very human society, economy and culture, as much as it invests in nanotechnology research, and perhaps, perhaps, such advances may make even war itself obsolete.
