The great nation of Neo Mithral Hall would be honored to join this conference. King Drizzt, Ruler of NMH, will not be in attendance, but is sending a delegation. I, General Dag, will be representing NMH on behalf of the king.

To show the World that NMH wants to be a player in military contracts and defense, NMH will be sending two mock ICBMs (intercontinental ballistic missile) that are currently in developmental phase. Please do not worry as the missiles are only shells with no working parts.

Harold Read stepped out of the High Imperial jet arriving in Osea 767 at the Otara ariport. He looked around making sure no one was following him then checked if he could see anyone from the Osea 767 government. Not seeing anyone he sat down on a bench and flipped up his cell phone making sure he was in the right place.

Sir Charles Maxwell-Fyfe and the welcome party rushed through the airport. Sir Maxwell-Fyfe was a duke in the osean nobility. He had a distinguished appearence,despite his greying hair .There had been delays, but everything was sorted for the conference. The press was behind fences, with thier cameras ready and the armoured cars were next to the runway where the representatives from the other countries were to land and would take the representatives to Salrini Palace.

One of the airport staff told him that the representative from the Empire of Miamoria had arrived. He immediatly ordered most of the welcome party to meet the other representatives as they landed, assuring an aide that he would return to greet the rest of the representatives once he recovered the Miamoria representative. Then he rushed with another aide to the Miamoria representative, Harold Read, and said "Hello, I am Sir Maxwell-Fyfe, the Osean Minister of Foreign Affairs. I,m sorry for the problems you have just had. I will help you get to where you need to be".

"Hello, Harold Read Cheif Advisor to the Emperor of Miamoria nice to meet you. Could you show me to the armoured cars?"

Christian peered out the window at the airport down below. In his mind the plan for the day kept repeating over and over in his head. Abegail's phone buzzed; she looked at the screen then turned to Christian.
" Mr. President it seems our troops are doing well in Sarosekia, hopefully we can pull out soon,"said Abegail.
" Well, the people seem to like our involvment especially with harboring civilians, so I am not that concerned."
The chopper landed on the large,White H on the platform. Two men in black opened the chopper door and assisted Christian and Abegail out.
" Afternoon", said Christian," I am,Christian, the president of Graticore, and this is my assistant,Abegail."

Sir Maxwell-Fyfe said "The armoured cars are next to Terminal 3, where the other representatives are arriving. I will take you there now". He then showed to a vehicle and entered it with Harold Read and the aide that had followed him. The vehicle then sped off to the terminal.

The crowd assembled became restless as a helicopter prepared to land on a helipad close to the terminal where the representatives were supposed to arrive. The security force which consisted of police forces,airport security and army troops,in their standard infantry armour and with some armoured vehicles, immediadly moved themselves closer to provide better protection for the representatives. A military band began to play a martial music. As the helicopter landed, the press immediadly began to take pictures and news reporters began making their live reports.

The car arrived just in time for Sir Maxwell-Fyfe to greet the representatives. He ordered an aide to show Harold Read to his armoured car. Suddenly an aide walked up to him and told him that the emperor had arrived to greet the representatives of the other nations and had joined the welcome party. This was unexpected. He met up with the emperor, who was clearly visible wearing the ceremonial dress of an army officer, which the emperor was entitled to wear. He also wore, a spiked helmet with a white horsehair plume and a sword in a Scabbard on his belt. As President Christian and his aide exited the helicopter, Maxwell-Fyfe and Emperor Alexander II walked up to him. Then Alexander said "Hello, I am Emperor Alexander II of the Holy Empire of Osea. This is Sir Maxwell-Fyfe, my Minister of Foreign Affairs". He then gave both men a warm handshake before an aide directed them to an armoured car.

King Jonathan the Great landed at the airport. He looked around for any sight of Osea officials.

Vladimir Kurchov touched down late in the night. He stepped off the plane looking for any sign of the armored cars Osea had promised.

Christian looked out over the crowd seeing the line where the mass confusion of reporters met the protective order of the guardsmen. Abegail's phone buzzed.
" O god...sir, we have a little problem." said Abegail.
" What do you mean" Christian whispered.
" The battle in Sarosekia just went downhill. It seems that the rebels are being supplied by another country. The country's leader is asking you to take his children to safety."
"Jeeze,...huh...ok tell him yes. Also get Intel on the supplier case. and send the elite squad to covertly get the children out."
" yes mr.president, what about..."
"Hello, I am Emperor Alexander II of the Holy Empire of Osea. This is Sir Maxwell-Fyfe, my Minister of Foreign Affairs".
" Your country is beautiful. I am very pleased to meet both of you." said Christian.
Alexander then gave Christian a warm handshake before an aide directed him to an armoured car.

Harold Read taking a look out of the window of the armoured car assigned to him saw some of the other government representatives arrving. He pulled out his cell phone and called Miamorga's head secretary, " Please give this message to Emperor Miamorga I just wanted to tell you I have arrived in Osea 767 and that everything is going fine the government leaders are arrving and we will be going to the conference shortly."

Christian and Abegail followed that assistant to the armoured car. While doing walking he waved at the crowds of people as Abegail held the press at bay.
"President Carey, what is the main purpose of this meeting, what do you hope to accomplish."
Christian and Abegail stopped, turned to the group of reporters and said " I am hear to dicuss peacefully topics of concern and hopefully build long-lasting relationships with other countries around the world."
Christian picked his pace up again and Abegail followed behind. Cameras flashed as people yelled questions out. The assistant opened the door to a black towncar. Christian and abegail both thanked the assistant and climbed into the car and shut the door.

Harold had been waiting in his assigned car for quite some time now and was wondering what was taking so long. Then the thought occured to him he had no clue who was attending so he decided to ask his driver, "Driver would you happen to have any idea of who might be coming to this conference? "

The thrum of the Osprey's gyros soothed Adept Kalin who nervously smoothed her dress for the hundredth time. Her master, Lord Clithoria dozed in her seat. She was an adept as she was under the tutelage of a more experienced diplomat who would teach by example. The Adept would act as an assistant to their master. Meanwhile the patron would examine them as they worked, judging their worth as a fully fledged Lord Diplomaticus. It was a system that was followed meticulously by almost every Imperial organization. With her master asleep, and the two Comguards that were attached to them remaining stolidly silent, she had no one to talk to. Unbuckling her seatbelt, she moved into the cockpit of the Gyrodyne. The copilot nodded to her as she eased the door into closing.

"Comguards are a silent bunch aren't they," he asked with a chuckle.

"One wonders whether they are robots underneath the robes," she said.

"Heh, same here sister. Well it shouldn't matter much, we ought be above Oured in half an hour or so," the copilot told her.

"That's excellent," she smiled.

"Oh, don't get too excited. The Comguards are a skittish and paranoid organization. You might get held up for an hour while they stripsearch every damn person in the airport," the other pilot joked as he flicked some switches on the panel before him.

"You can't be serious," she snorted.

"Don't believe me? Well you'll find out," the pilot said in the most ominous tone he could muster. His copilot shook his head sadly and turned back to his own console.

The driver replied " Apart from your own nation, the comference is also being attended by The Kingdom of the Royal British States, The Holy and Glorious Empire of Emperatium Drakonicum, The Federation of Oseato, The United Kingdom Of Ustio North, The Demcocartic Republic of Graticore,The Socialist National Republic of Karuchea,The Peoples Haven of Chernobl and The Kingdom of Neo Mithral Hall".

A member of the airport staff walked up to Vladimir Kurchov and directed him to the armoured cars. Another person opened the car door, while Vladimir climed in and then shut the door after him.

Hovering above the helipad, General Dag looked out at the airport. With a thump, his green and white, proud colors of NMH, escort chinook touched down.

"General Dag, remember to hold your hat as you pass under the blades, or it will fall off.", reminded the pilot to NMH's ambassador.

Dag wishing he hadn't been picked for this mission, shrugged, and step out of the chinook and was escorted to a car with a entourage of advisors.

"Sir.. General Dag, the mock ballistic missiles arrived yesterday and are already at the conference venue. Remember we are here to show off the new defense systems and to possible make a few allies. Oh Yeah, Lord Drizzt says watch your mouth and your liquor.", the nervous aid said, barely being able to look

"Don't tell me what to do. Let us just get this over with and get back to the safety of the mountains in the Spine of the World.," Dag said.

With the vehicle doors shutting, they soon sped away from the airport towards Neo Mithral Hall's first conference in a foreign country.

OOC: who votes to say we start the conference now seeing as we need this thread to speed up. It's not exactly the most active thread i've ever seen.

Harold Read's assigned armoured car pulled up to the place where the conference was to be held. He opened the door for himself as he saw the other cars start to pull up behind him. He let his driver walk him to the door, "Thanks here's a small tip." As he quitely pased his driver 20 mogs and walked inside.

OOC: Mogs are my currency.

The armoured cars drove up to Salrini Palace, a large building with a classical style to it.
Harold Read's armoured car arrived first. Harold and the driver walked up to the door. Harold turns to the driver and hands him some money, "Thanks here's a small tip". The driver replies "Thank you sir". Harold then opens the door and walks in.

Christian and Abegail both made small talk with the driver for the drive to the Palace. Topics ranging from the weather to occupations were brought up between those present in the car. However, once the car turned the cornor both Abegail and Christian's face went blank. They saw the magnificant stucture of the palace and were slightly suprised by the beauty of it.
The care pulled up as close to the entrance as possible before coming to a stop.
"Thank you very much," said Christian before getting out. Abegail followed letting a light "Thanks" before shutting the door and following Christian to the door. Christian stopped as the driver from another car opened the door for him and Abegail.
"Thanks"
" My pleasure ,sir, just follow the signs."
Christian and Abegail walked in together and slowly made their way to a pair of big, extravigant doors.
" This has to be it," he thought.
For a monment Christian and Abegail both straightened out their clothes and made sure no lint or other particles made them look unprofessonal. Then Christian and Abegail knocked and the door opened, with the help of an aide, and Christian and Abegail walked into the conference hall. They picked two seats in a decent spot and decided to stand, not only to greet others but to be polite. They waited.

Soon the various representatives poured into the conference hall, a grand room with a domed ceilling and a large chandelier dangling from the ceiling. The floor was made of marble. There was a large central table in the middle of the room and a number of smaller tables around the room. There were waiters moving around the room offering drinks. The Osean representatives, including various ministers to offer advice to Osean negotiators, formed up in the conference hall. The Emperor walked up to the various ambassadors and introduced himself and began to converse with them.

Harold Read walked up to Osea 767's Emperor and started to converse, "I'm sorry my Emperor couldn't make it. So what propositions do you plan to make at this conference? What ideas do you have for the future of you nation?"

Emperor Alexander thought for a moment, then replied "I am thinking of making a number of agreements, possibly involving increasing political ties and creating a number of economic and military treaties. As for the Future of the Holy Osean Empire, I intend for it to increase its political, economic and military influence so that it is capable of making a positive influence on world affairs.

Harold looked around the room. "The people seem to be getting restless."

OOC: I will do an opening speach as soon as I can.

" I agree" replied Alexander. He the stood up in front of the assembled representatives and the room fell silent. He then began his speach. " I welcome you all for coming to Osea. I find myself surprised, delighted and honoured that so many have come here and I am sure that all of Osea feels the same. I hope that we can accompish something meaningfull here today. Now that I have said my piece, I believe we should begin the conference".

OOC: Considering that many of the nations who were attending the conference have not posted for a while, I am willing to accept any MT nation that wishes to attend the conference. As the conference has just started, we can say that your represetative is already there.
