“Hello, and welcome to the Ursavian News Network.” The black-haired anchorwoman said.
The screen moves to the side of the woman slightly to show a strange video in IR of small figures of red and other thermal colors moving about in a dark purple terrain. There is flashes of what one can presume to be gunfire at various points of the video.
“As you can see here this strange video was found approximately two hours ago via a reliable source. We are not aware where the film is taken or if it’s even in Ursava but as one can see the figures are much smaller than an average military-age citizen in most countries. We currently have no real info but we will update as info comes in.” The anchorwoman said.
Somewhere in the Ursavian north
Five-star general Vince Boross leaned forward, a look of frustration plastered on his face.
“They’ve found out about the project already?” Boross asked, angry as hell.
The ‘project’ he was referring to was a kid-soldier program. They had ‘acquired’ five-hundred six-year old boys who they had recently put under training program. That had been a brief glimpse through an attachment to one young would-be sniper’s scope as he watched other kid-soldiers moving about. Vince had a bad feeling that if any other nations started to think it was Ursavian kid-soldiers before they were a big enough nation to effectively defend themselves from any military reaction. That secret bill had been signed by President Saáry herself two weeks ago in her office and if anything went wrong (or at least more wrong than that segment making live T.V) then the program would come unwound and Ursava would surely suffer the wrath of much larger countries.
OOC: Not much chance for any military response right off the bat. Also, unless you have an embassy within my country please ask before your country just starts sending angry telegrams.
