"Welcome back to SPEED TV's FASCAR coverage. For those of you just joining us, TRM driver Tim Romano has just won his third FASCAR Grand National Series championship. We now go live to Victory Lane at Sunset Penninsula Speedway. John?"
"Thanks Dan. As you can see behind me, driver and pit crew are in full celebration. Let's try to get a word with the champion. Tim, you've been a dominating force in FASCAR's Grand National division for the past three years. Were there any concerns heading into this final race?"
"We were having some overheating problems, but luckly they weren't bad enough to cause any major problems. Those last few laps it was a challange to stay ahead of Mark's #23 car. He put on a great run against me. But I was able to hold him off and get this win for the team. Thanks to all my sponsors, especially Valvoline, Fram, and Dodge, for their support of my teams!"
"Thank you Tim. Enjoy your celebration! Back to you in the studio."
"Thanks John. TR Motorsports' #97 Buick has been a powerhouse team ever since they entered FASCAR's Grand National division three years ago. However, in a press confrence held last night, Team owner and driver Tim Romano announced places to enter into the new FASCAR World Championship, driving the #01 Dodge Challenger. The World Championship series is a new FASCAR division that will allow drivers from around the world to compete for the title, 'World Driving Champion'. The first race will be held at the Sunset Penninsula Speedway, and FASCAR is considering the use of overseas tracks for additional races. Coming up, a full rundown of the Grand National points standings, followed by coverage of the Motocross Series finals. We'll be right back, after this."
