OOC: Domestic Production Rights are the right for the buyer of them to produce the design using their own factories. The ability to sell them is only available to the original designer of the weapon. You are not the designer you are a seller and thus you have no ability to sell DPRs. Thus your storefront would most likely be bankrupt from the lawsuits entailing.

Btw you call those custom items? They're completely impractical. Next time you want to make a storefront I suggest you consult NDR (NationStates Draftroom) first because so far you're only embarrassing yourself and ruining your reputation on the forums.

To be fair I have imported RL goods in the past based on an inability to produce enough equipment within the Dominion, and Zinaire you have sold RL surplus. Running a storefront on the principle is a bit impractical though.

The "government" of the aforementioned nation has consistently shown itself to be reckless and utterly incompetent insofar as matters of state are concerned.

As a result the Commonwealth requests the following:

That the Capitalist Storefront immediately cease all operations
That The United Government allow a team of international inspectors to ascertain the status of CBRN weapons programs.
Upon certification that the weapons programs of The United Government meet international standards, the Capitalist Storefront will be allowed to reopen under international monitoring.


Until such time as these conditions have been met the Commonwealth imposes a complete embargo of all trade to and from The United Government, all TUG citizens on Tolvanic soil will leave within forty-eight (48) hours or face imprisonment for violation of the Immigration Reform Act of 1983, and all assets of The United Government located on Tolvanic soil will be seized and held in impound. We too are appalled by the sale of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) weapons fom your nation to any Joe Bloggs who wishes them, and at prices that stupidly low. Are you unaware that you could be the sole reason for terrorists getting hold of WMDs. The effects of this would be devestating for not only the victims, but when it comes to light where the weapons come from, for your nation too. We implore that you cease the sale of CBRNs immidietly.

As a result the USSB requests the following:

That the Capitalist Storefront immedietely cease all operations.
That The United Government allow a team of internaitonal inspectors to ascertain the status of CBRN weapons programs.
Upon certification that the weapons programs of The United Government meet international standards, the Capitalist Storefront will be allowed to reopen under international monitoring.


Until the sale of CBRNs from you has ended, and your government has learned about responsibility, we are imposing sanctions on your nation and people.

No plane from your nation shall touch down in the USSB, and none from ours will land on your soil.
No ship from you nation shall dock at any of our ports, and none from ours will dock at any of your ports.
All communications will be cut between our two nations, phonelines, internet, post, etc. Except for our governments telegram line to your government.
All TUG nationals residing within the USSB shall be placed under house arrest, and will be unable to leave the confines of their homes.

These sanctions will remain in place for the duration of this situation.

The Commonwealth of Tolvan is most concerned about the reckless and unregulated sale of CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) weapons by the so-called "Capitalist Storefront" located within The United Government. The "government" of the aforementioned nation has consistently shown itself to be reckless and utterly incompetent insofar as matters of state are concerned.

As a result the Commonwealth requests the following:

That the Capitalist Storefront immediately cease all operations
That The United Government allow a team of international inspectors to ascertain the status of CBRN weapons programs.
Upon certification that the weapons programs of The United Government meet international standards, the Capitalist Storefront will be allowed to reopen under international monitoring.


Until such time as these conditions have been met the Commonwealth imposes a complete embargo of all trade to and from The United Government, all TUG citizens on Tolvanic soil will leave within forty-eight (48) hours or face imprisonment for violation of the Immigration Reform Act of 1983, and all assets of The United Government located on Tolvanic soil will be seized and held in impound. Any TUG citizens desiring asylum within Tolvan will be free to apply with the Ministry of the Interior starting at 8:00 AM BST tomorrow morning.

These sanctions will remain in place for the duration of this situation.

Should the government of The United Government refuse these requests the Commonwealth will explore additional measures to ensure that the TUG reigime behaves in a manner more than consistent with a civillized nation than a rabble of schoolboys.

OOC: Hell no. WA nations don't even have to follow WA conventions (not in II, at least)! You can agree to certain treaties written in II (NEATO, Theeb Accords, or suchlike), but real-life conventions don't apply unless you agree to abide by them - but even then, chances are your enemies won't.

OOC: There is no international law per se, since WA Resolutions and RL treaties don't exist in a RP context. There are standards of behvior most nations follow (at least those thaty aren't RPing as rogue states of dictatorships) but the only method of enforcement is military force and i doubt anyone will want to go to war over a few house arrests.
