January 5th 2010 Madrid, Hispania 0800 Hours
Today was the birthday of King Alfonso I. The Royal Leader would parade through the streets of Madrid, waving to the public as he made his way back round to his recidency at the centre of the city. He was dressed in his most regal clothes, a military uniform parading all sorts of colours and badges. He opened the door and left for the car in the grounds outside.
"Buenos Dias Sr." a chauffer wearing a green outfit said to the monarch,
"Buenos Dias" Alfonso climbed into the car.
The Car pulled out into the large straight street that ran into the middle of the Capital. The King would do this every year, it was just another thing he must endure until he could enjo his birthday and well, it made the people happy. Every year it went smoothly, tall guards protecting him from the yelling crowds on the roadside.
The vehicle then turned to the right onto another road where it headed for a tall building in the distance. People were waving the Hispanic flag as the car passed, the guards didn't see a reason to worry.
BANG! BANG! BANG!!!
Shrieks filled the nation as the car was shot at. The guards rushed to the smoking vehicle...
*two hours later*
People of Hispania, today King Alfonso I was assassinated. He was shotand later died, experts currently are undecided as to who is to blame for the act.
January 12th 2012 Cádiz/Holstia, Santille 1200 Hours
The 2nd Anniversary. Reports have it that the north have access to Biological Weapons from an unknown source and they have threatened to use them against us President Fernando Rodriguez has issued a statement saying not to worry. Every house is currently being supplied with a bomb shelter possible of withstanding an attack from the weapons.

4 years ago the King of Hispania, Alberto I was killed by an unknown assassin. The aftermath of this murder was that Hispania was split into two sides. Madrid was the location of most of the fighting, Cádiz or Holstia became the capital of the South, Santille. In 2012 the north got access of Biological Weapons from an unknown source and used them against us the south. In 2014 the people that had survived the attacks banded together and started to re-build civilisation in South Hispania. The year is now 2015 and Santille is now a functional nation. After the attacks the nation was seriously damaged, the population small the nation had managed to re-build itself. We are ready to open trade routes with the international community ASAP.

OOC: The War with the North (or Hispania) is still on and will be explained more when i start a thread continuing the War. Just a question, although i am set in 2015 my nation isn't really that much more technologically advanced as it would be in 2008 so when i RP do RP as MT or PMT?
