Jacoso is a medium sized nation that generally keeps to itself. No major events have happened in Jacoso for over 100 years. At least until today. Today a revolution has swept Jacoso. The old government is powerless because the majority of the military has joined the revolutionaries. Hundreds of thousands of people stormed the government building today. Why? Because while Jacoso's government has become a burecratic sprawling mess. There are 174934 government politicians. The government has no money because the politicians all slandered money for themselves so the people pay heavy taxes but receive nothing in return. And now they've had enough only a small government force stands between the rebels and Parliament Hill. The government sends out a message telling the rebels to surrender but they don't agree. They demand new government. And the old government doesn't agree. Once their messenger is safely back behind the line of Loyalists, 50 M-240 towed mortars opened fire on the rebels killing and maiming many peaceful protesters as well as many of the armed people. It also effectively demoralized and scattered the rebel forces."Ha ha ha... look at them run", yelled the commander of the artillery unit. "Um sir..." said one of the mortar men. "What!" yelled the commander. Wordlessly the petrified soldier pointed up. A B-47 Stratojethttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:XB-47-1_300.jpg#filelinks flew in over the line of soldiers cowering behind their sandbags. Over the mortars still smoking. Over the walls that marked the property line of the extravagant Parliament Mansion. And it dropped one bomb. Pieces of rubble rained down on the Loyalists scattering them as effectively as sniper fire. Meanwhile the rebels had regrouped and marched on the Loyalists killing only those who fought back and taking the majority of the Loyalists prisoner. An APC drives up and the leader of the rebels gets out along with 10 huge bodyguards. He walks up to a makeshift stage in front of his troops. "The old government has fallen. Today Jacoso enters a new era. An era of responsible government. An era of global citizenship. No longer will your family die waiting outside the hospital. No longer will you go to bed hungry because you have no job and you can't afford food. For today Jacoso's old goverment is gone. And along with it your troubles." Suddenly a bullet slams into the rebel leaders chest. Instantly the assassin is clear. A soldier with a smoking gun is standing at the front of the stage. He is instantly grabbed by the surrounding revolutionaries and knocked unconscious. The wounded leader is immidietly transferred to a nearby van. "What will happen now?", one soldier says. "I don't know...", says the other one. "I just don't know..."
