Today, following the conflict in Izhevskia having been resolved, Prince Martin Leichstur II and his supreme adviser addressed a press conference on a matter concerning the uprising.

"As many of you know, Izhevskia was recently victim to a terrible uprising by fascist rebels seeking to overthrow the communist government. They claimed thousands of lives in their rebellion and the repercussions can be felt in the ruins of the once busy capital.

We have been watching the conflict with concern in order to ensure the defeat of the fascist rebels. However, we recently came across some disturbing information. Apparently the nations of Chernobl and Volzgrad have made a joint operation and launched an orbital weapons platform capable of firing thermonuclear warheads at a position anywhere on the globe as long as the platform is over the position when it fires.

Normally, this would not concern us. However the platform was found orbiting above Izhevskia during the conflict and we felt threatened that the platform would be utilized in the conflict to counter the thermonuclear warheads recovered by fascists rebels that were used to destroy half the capital of Izhevskia.

Not only this, but both nations have recently joined an alliance known as the ICOPMR or the International Co-Operation Pact of Military Regimes. Not only does the name sound threatening, but the fact that many other communist nations have also joined in on the alliance deeply worries us.

We will be contacting both the governments of Chernobl and Volzgrad soon to demand the immediate landing and dismemberment of Red Eclipse."

The conference was met with strong support by a majority of Leichstur's people who feel terrified that Red Eclipse could be over our heads at this very moment and threatening the sanctity and freedom of Leichstur and its people. - Exceprt from an article published on the website of "Leichstur Live", a popular news channel praised for its focus on live and in-person reports on various events and happenings.

The Federation of Oseato is deeply offended that Leichstur has mistaken Oseato for a communist country. The ICOPMR is not a communist organization, but an organization of Military Regimes.

OOC: Putting nukes in space(unless it's part of a ballitic missiles terminal phase, such as FOBS) makes them an insanely vulnerable target for both conventional space-based and surface-based ASAT weapons. If push comes to shove, any half-decent NS power would simply hurl a metric fuckton of ASAT weapons at it. ASAT missiles are much cheaper then sattelites and space-based defences, even more so if your ASAT missile carries multiple kinetic kill vehicles. And lets not even get into suicide microsattelites.

Re:Red Eclipse

To all citizens of the world,
I would like to make something clear. The ICOPMR has nothing to do with Red Eclipse. The fact that it's creators have joined our ranks does NOT mean that we would ever ask for the use of this platform. However, this being said, any attempt to attack or destroy Red Eclipse will be seen as an attack on two member nations of ICOPMR and will be met with the force of all those united under the ICOPMR banner. Also, not only communist and socialist nations are invited to join the ICOPMR. Any nation willing to abide by the 10 points set forward by the ICOPMR is welcome to join, if they are voted into the organization. I believe I speak for the whole of ICOPMR when I say that your very obvious hinting that all communist and socialist nations are in support of nuking someone any time something goes bad, extremely insulting.

The Federation of Oseato

We would like to assure The Federation of Oseato that Prince Martin Leichstur II did not directly refer to Oseato as being a communist government. He said that he felt threatened by the number of communist governments within the ICOPMR and that, coupled with the military strength of other nations within ICOPMR could become a very serious threat to national security. We aplogize for the misunderstanding.

Official Response of Vice-Premier Amani Sinde:

The Socialist National Republic of Karuchea, while devoted to World Socialism and World Revolution, is deeply concerned with World Peace and Prosperity. It is for the reasons of world peace, mutual defense and co-operation in support of common interests that ICOPMR was formed. ICOPMR, as the name implies, is a collection of nations devoted to military and their development. We have many ideologies present herein, from classical Marxism-Leninism to Monarchism.

In Karuchea, we are led by Comrade General Omar Bakdash, who in his brilliance saw the faults and errors present in Marxism-Leninism and corrected them. He drew three primary problems which had led to set-backs in Socialism.

1. Marxism-Leninism called for Atheism and the eradication of National Culture, but how could people be unified into a solid, safe Socialist state without the firm foundation of National Culture, of which religion is a vital part of?
2. Marxism-Leninism based itself on Materialism, which places priority on the productive forces above all else. While the economy is important, it is the overall safety and well-being of the nation which is priority, not the productive forces.
3. Marxism-Leninism states that the Urban Proletariat is the vanguard of the Revolution and Construction of Socialism. Yet, in Karuchea, which was already an advanced nation, there was no urban workers, there were technocrats, educators, doctors etc. None would be considered classical Proletariat. His solution was to base the Revolution and Construction on the forces most loyal and dedicated to the Nation and its Construction and Defense, the Armed Forces.

We wish a peaceful resolution to this matter and invite Prince Martin Leichstur II and delegates from all parties to Ahmadia, Karuchea to discuss a resolution.

Response for Vice-Premier Amani Sinde and Roy Campbell

Prince Martin Leichstur II would first like to express he is upset that Roy Campbell did not properly address nor spell his name correctly. He would also like to make it clear that Leichstur has a Socialist party that competes for the Prince's favor to become the new party which will act as his advisers and influence his policies. While this party has not had any success in its progress since its founding the Prince has never discriminated against nor denied the party equal chance in becoming his party.

In response to Vice-Premier Amani Sinde's proposition to discuss the issue over a personal meeting in Ahmadia, Karuchea he must respectfully decline though is willing to communicate and discuss the matter over live video feed. He would like to thank the Vice-Premier for his generous offer, however.
