Gordonopia for years had been able to sustain its population for years on the limited drilling operations that existed in our nation's territory. But now that our population has passed 30,000,000, our demand is more than our supply. We are looking for a company that can supply us oil until our nation reaches the 500,000,000 mark. We want a smaller oil company (no Griffencrest) but we don't want someone that is to small to supply us. The reason for this is because we want to help keep the market free of monopolies. We only want one supplier so we do not have to make multiple contracts. If you can supply

The fax machines of the world had long sat dormant. The upgrade to the Jolt Ordinances of 20YY ensured that almost all communication between the several leaders in the NationStates Multiverse was conducted through a marvel known as the "internet." However, there were a select few who refused to let go of the old ways.

Within the offices of those who still maintained the old ways, the aged fax system roared to life, struggling under the burden of yet another message. The flowing cursive script and the double signature could only mean one man: Atal Amner.

I was reading through the piles of inane drivel that individuals such as ourselves receive on a somewhat daily basis, and ran across your request for assistance. It was not but so long ago that my nation was experiencing a similar situation, stemming from a complete and total lack of domestic oil sources. In our desperation, we sought traditional 'green' energy solutions until economic pressures became unbearable. Fortunately, by this point, two easy solutions presented themselves to the previous regime, and they chose to use nuclear energy, along with coal gassification.

The great advances made by the science of the atom provide the capability to enslave the most fundamental forces known to our world. I have personally inspected every nuclear institution within my great nation, and can assure you that economies of scale instantly apply to such behemoth marvels as atomic piles. I have even overseen the construction of magnificent structures that can produce both electrical power and weapons grade atomic fuel.

However, I have been repeatedly assured that it is not a wise course of action to incorporate an atomic pile within an automobile, and as such, coal gassification is the primary method of producing petroleum substitute within No Endorse. Somehow, through the vast technological prowess available to ones such as themselves, the scientists of the Glorious Military Junta of No Endorse are able to convert coal into a liquid capable of burning within my motorcar, with no ill effects.

Enough rambling for now, I am willing to extend a hand of goodwill and offer assistance in establishing such apparatus within The Republic of United Gordonopia. Technicians and supplies from the Junta can be readily made available, in return for an agreement of open and free trade between our respective nations. This agreement has the ability to greatly reduce your dependence on unpredictable foreign energy sources.

Self reliance is the only channel through which a society can hope to better itself, evolving constantly on its race to perfection. In nature, only the strong survive, so it is that in the real world, the greatest of nations are those whose civilizations have stood trial by fire and have adapted to heights unknown. Only those who evolve to this higher plane can lay claim to the title of Greatness, of the Master Race superior to all others in the land. And when that day comes, none shall stand to inform them otherwise.

ASoil, the ASoGM's largest oil company, has both fossil fuel crude and Algae Oil crude. We can supply the demand that your nation has, and can do it cheaply. Fossil fuel crude is currently $35/barrel, and Algae Oil crude is $50/barrel. Both types of crude give engines the same performance, but the Algae Oil crude is more environmentally friendly.
