Officially the Army Combat Uniform, in use by the United States Army, and adopted in 2005. It is used by the Alliance Star Confederation Marines as their mainstay uniform, for their future conflicts taking place in Urban environments, assumed for 90% of projected conflicts. Alterations, including the embroidery of a joint service logo to identify the service branch itself, as well as the nation of its use can be requested and applied.

[ Airman Service Uniform (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airman_Battle_Uniform) ] | $195.00 USD per uniform package (Includes (1) pair of pants, (1) coat, (1) pair of boots, (1) t-shirt, (1) hat, (1) pair of socks, and (1) belt.)
To be instituted overall in 2011 by the United States Air Force, the Airman Battle Uniform is the mainstay uniform of the Alliance Star Confederation Naval Air Force. The uniform's camouflage pattern is designed to better suit for situations of extreme circumstance, and combat use, whereas few are expected to use it in that role, directly. Alterations, including the embroidery of a joint service logo to identify the service branch itself, as well as the nation of its use can be requested and applied.[ Navy Service Uniform (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniforms_of_the_United_States_Navy#Navy_Working_Uniform_.28NWUs.29) ] | $205.00 USD per uniform package (Includes (1) pair of pants, (1) coat, (1) pair of boots, (1) t-shirt, (1) hat, (1) pair of socks, and (1) belt.)

The Improved Outer Tactical Vest, or IOTV, is a replacement to the older Interceptor body armor fielded by the United States Army and the mainstay universal body armor system for the Alliance Star Marine Corps, and related ground forces. A size 'medium' IOTV weighs 3.6 pounds less than the Interceptor's 'medium' vest, while providing more coverage. A 'large' vest weighs approximately 35 pounds. The functionality of the enhanced side ballistic inserts, which provide coverage under the arms and down the sides of the torso, is built-in to the IOTV.[ MICH TC-2000 Combat Helmet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MICH_TC-2000_Combat_Helmet) ] | $485.00 USD per helmet
The Advanced Combat Helmet (ACH) is based on the latest performance requirements of the U.S. Army for ballistics, impact, retention and other protective upgrades, and is in active use by both the United States Army (IRL) and by the Alliance Star Confederation ground forces. The helmets are lighter than the previous PASGT infantry helmet and include a pre-drilled Night Vision Goggle Bracket hole. Proven to stop a multitude of munitions, providing protection, as well as effective coverage around the head of the individual user of the helmet. The helmet is light, durable, and effective in a large range of environments and uses that any organization can enter into in the current scale of warfare.

[ Joint Tactical Radio System (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Tactical_Radio_System) ]| $127,000.00 USD per unit

The Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS, often pronounced "jitters") is planned as the next-generation voice-and-data radio for use by the U.S. military in field operations after 2010, and in use in the Alliance Star Confederation by various service branches. The functionality and expandability of the Joint Tactical Radio System are built upon the Software Communications Architecture (SCA), an open-architecture framework that tells designers how hardware and software are to operate in harmony. It governs the structure and operation of the JTRS, enabling programmable radios to load waveforms, run applications, and be networked into an integrated system. A Core Framework, providing a standard operating environment, must be implemented on every hardware set. Interoperability among radio sets is increased because the same waveform software can be easily ported to all radios.

[ Meal, Ready-to-Eat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRE) ] | $3.00 USD per Meal, Ready-to-Eat

[Spa Contracted Production:
[Spacerspac]$274.00 USD per month (31 Meals, Ready-to-Eat )
[Spacerspac]$3,285.00 USD per year (365 Meals, Ready-to-Eat )

The Constellation Star Military Feeding Systems mainline of on-the-move Ration Packages for the average Solider, Sailor, or whatever the situation calls for in the event of a meal, and the lack of the kitchen. Used today by the United States Military in mainline use for Military units on the ground, it's also mainstay for servicemen and women in the Alliance Star Confederation. Each meal provides about 1,200 calories (1,200 kcal or 5,000 kJ). They are intended to be eaten for a maximum of 21 days (the assumption is that logistics units can provide superior rations by then), and have a shelf life of three years (depending on storage conditions). Packaging requirements are strict. MREs must be able to withstand parachute drops from 380 m (1,250 ft), and non-parachute drops of 30 m (100 ft). The packaging is required to maintain a minimum shelf life of three and a half years at 27 °C (80 °F), nine months at 38 °C (100 °F), and short durations from -51 °C (-60 °F) to 49 °C (120 °F) must be sustainable. New forms of packaging are being considered to better meet these requirements including the use of zein to replace the foil, which can be easily punctured, conducts heat, and reflectivity (which may give away a servicemember's position). Each MRE weighs 380 to 510 g (13 to 18 oz) depending on the menu. Since MREs contain water, they weigh more than freeze-dried meals providing equivalent calories.

General contents may include:

main course (entree)
side dish
dessert or snack (often a commercial candy or a fortified pastry)
crackers or bread
spread of cheese, peanut butter, or jelly
powdered beverage mix: fruit flavored drink, cocoa, coffee or tea, sport drink, or dairy shake.
Utensils (usually just a plastic spoon)
flameless ration heater (FRH)
Accessory pack: chewing gum, water-resistant matches, napkin / toilet paper, moist towelette, and seasonings, including salt, pepper, sugar, creamer, and/or Tabasco sauce

[ First Strike Ration (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Strike_Ration) ] | $7.00 USD per First Strike Ration

[Spa Contracted Production:
[Spacerspac]$212.00 USD per month (31 First Strike Rations )
[Spacerspac]$2,555.00 USD per year (365 Meals, First Strike Rations )

The First Strike Ration, or FSR, is a compact, eat-on-the-move assault ration designed for use during initial periods of highly intense, highly mobile combat operations. The FSR is substantially reduced in weight and size and enhances soldier consumption, nutritional intake, and mobility. The development of the FSR came from the fact that prior to deployment, soldiers would "field strip" their MREs. Field stripping involves removing all the excess MRE packaging and unwanted items - bags, boxes, heaters, extra spoons, accessory packs, etc. Creative field stripping could reduce 3 MREs - one day's worth - down to the same size as a single MRE. While this practice reduced the soldier's load by only packing the most critical MRE parts, it also led to increased waste and a reduced consumption of food. A single FSR, which is 24 hours worth of food, is approximately 50% the size and weight of three MREs.

1 FSR = 2,900 calories
3 MREs = 3,800 calories

15 cases of MREs= 24 hours of rations for 60 soldiers
7 cases of FSRs = 24 hours of rations for 63 soldiers

Calories: ~2,900 per ration
Protein: 15%
Carbohydrates: 53%
Fat: 34%

Shelf life: minimum 2 years at 80º Fahrenheit

The FSR comes in 3 menus:

Menu 1: Bacon-cheddar pocket sandwich; pepperoni pocket sandwich; filled French Toast pocket sandwich; jalapeño cheese spread & wheat snack bread; and apple cider mix.
Menu 2: Italian pocket sandwich; chicken chunks pouch, tortillas & hot sauce; Cinnamon & brown sugar toaster pastry; peanut butter & crackers, and lemon tea mix.
Menu 3: Honey BBQ beef pocket sandwich; Albacore tuna pouch, tortillas & mayonnaise; lemon poppy-seed pound cake, cheese spread & crackers; and instant coffee, non-dairy creamer & sugar.
