Ulanpataar

National Pataari News (NPR) radio broadcasted a report on the increasing strains on the economy, and of some new legislation.
In Ulanpataar shaman Atausiq has declared a new law that limits the number of wives or husbands a person may marry. The law forbids the spouse number to two (meaning a woman can have two husbands, or a man can only have two wives.) . Many other shamans and the High Priestess herself agreed. The law now leaves thousands unwed, creating a strange occurrence of hundreds of couples marrying under one lodge. Despite the mass weddings there is still a large amount of unwed people, increasing the statistics of homelessness.
So, in a attempt to fix the problem, the government set several companies to mass hut production which created another problem. The companies that were called on to do that were benchmarks in Ulanpataar's exports. Under this mire of problems there is now a road construction project underway, adding to the strain on the Pataari economy that is increasing every single moment.
Unbiased Pataari News, had a similar broadcasted a similar report, but they were more focused of the unconstitutionality of declaring a limit for wives, and a six hour rant by a old man about this legislation.
