Dawn, 300 Miles off the Coast of Canedian Army

The first brilliant rays of sunlight to illuminate the open ocean revealed something unexpected by the Canedians; a Salzland Defense Force carrier battlegroup. This was not the only carrier in the region, or the only element of the SDF present. Between blatant acts of imperialism and the recent betrayal of, not an ally of Salzland, but a nation highly regarded by it nonetheless (OOC Edit: Uiri, to clear up any confusion), the President had decided that this was the last straw. It was time to hit the Canedians where it hurt; their economy.

Fifty nautical miles away from the carrier, the SDFS Valor, an Oliver Hazard Perry-Class Frigate was operating the first seach-and-seizure of the operation. A Canedian Army-flagged container vessel was ordered to heave to and prepare to be borded, for the confiscation of any material deemed to be "contraband." If there were any doubts that Salzland was serious about this matter, they were about to be erased.

This message is to inform you that your nation is being blockaded. This is in response to your blatant imperialistic tendencies, as well as the wars of aggression provoked by your nation. The following conditions must be met by Canedian Army in order to result in the removal of this blockade.

1.) The immediate cease-fire by all Canedian forces involved in foreign wars of aggression.

2.) The agreement to international inspections supervising the elimination of all Canedian Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) programs.

3.) The agreement to periodic, random international inspections to ensure that there is no reconstruction of, or receipt of, any components or entire Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) programs, including but not limited to Uranium/Plutonium, uranium-enrichment centrifuges, chemical pre-cursor agents and biological cultures, as well as actual WMDs, until such time as the international community is satisfied that the Government of Canedian Army will no longer provoke numerous wars of aggression.

Rejection of said conditions will result in the indefinite continuance of aforementioned blockade.

In the opinion of the Ministry of Defense, the real criminal here is the nation of Roef for supplying Canedia with a nuclear program and a sizable amount of nuclear material. We move that action also be taken against Roef, lest he attempt to further supply or aid Canedia and cause more unneeded deaths. Nations of Canedia's size (and intelligence) simply should not bear the burden of nuclear weapons.

The armada finally set sailed for Canedian Island. It was the largest operation the Lynion's were pulling off since the First Fungi War. The warships set sailed as the Lynion's onboard their warships were waiting for the chance to show the Canedians who they were messing with. The two commanders of the operation were Sky Admiral Kennedy Wilkson and Vamperial Guardian Hell Commander Rathma.

Rathma and Kennedy were aboard the aircraft carrier the Valiant as they left the waters of Lynion.

"Allied Ships coming on the portside," shouted the lieutenant.

"That'll be the Fungi transport ships," stated Kennedy.

"Then we'll have a land force of around three quarters of a million. Those extra ships weren't recorded to our allies," stated the captain.

"They'll know when they see them," replied Rathma as his computerised eyes scanned around. "The Canedians have picked a fight they can't win this time,"

Rathma went out onto the flight deck as he looked around. His eyes scanned the ships as he nodded his head. Transport carriers were around the four carriers with destoryers and submarines as inner defence. Then a small ring of transport ships before the major capital warships such as cruisers, battleships, frigates and submarines. He smiled as he knew this was going to end the war King Vamp declared.

While officially, we cannot involve ourselves in this conflict due to other military requirements, we feel as though allowing Canedia to harm more innocents would be the ultimate crime to humanity. For this reason, the Bundestag has accepted the Chancellor's proposal calling for a 384-man special forces squad operating off of one of our amphibious assault carriers to infiltrate past Canedian lines undetected in twelve "Black Storm" (OOC: Aequetian design) helicopters and strike at the heart of their nuclear facilities. Once the team reaches their objective, they will commence operations, killing guards, destroying launchers and silo doors, and relaying the coordinates of fueling missiles back to their carrier so that air strikes can take care of the remainder. We only pray that this operation will be enough to dissuade Canedia from ever utilizing nuclear weapons in such a haphazard manner.

"Sir, radar contacts. A large number of aircraft are lifting off from Canedian Army airfields, and heading our way," called out the radar operator.

"Scramble the fighters, and see if the Air Force can lend us a hand. Looks like it's going to be war."

215 miles from the nearest Salzland naval vessel.

"Attention 'Eagle', this is the UNV Cápa and I am approaching the blockade now. We will be at a depth of seventy feet for the deployment, running silent. Please respond." The radio-man of the Virginia class submarine said.

Meanwhile, in the passenger area was sux men and an inflated Zodiac raft with the defence system that had been developed earlier in the 21st century. Then there were six men outside the door with their own raft that wasn't inflated yet. Due to the size of the group they would need to deploy in two teams of six but they were trained well and so unlike normal soldiers, they were perfectly calm...or at least they made it look that way with the way they were casually putting their berets and other things in water-proof bags if they needed them and putting on their tanks.

They looked around the small chamber, waiting to be deployed and let out in to the country in order to complete their objectives.

Ralkovia is not pleased by this blatant attack on Canedian Army, it is sending aid ships to help Canedian civilians since you obviously have no regard for their supply of food. If any attack is made against these aid ships you will face the full might of the Ralkovian army and its allies...which are extremely bored at the moment. In the interest of avoiding an international incident, we are willing to accept your word of honor that no contraband (military materials) are being transported by your vessels, and will allow them to pass unhindered.

As for the blockade itself, we have made our case for it, and established fair conditions for the Government of Canedian Army to meet to end the blockade. We are not asking for a change of government. We are not asking for reparations. "Admiral, picking up another wave of contacts coming from Canedian Army. Looks like they mean to fight, sir," called the radar operator.

"Let them come. Once they cross the 200 mile mark, all units are weapons free. They've been warned, they've received fair conditions for peace, and they spat upon us. Now it's time to pay the butcher's bill."

On the deck of the Dauntless, along with the other two carriers in the Blockade Fleet, F/A 18 SuperHornets lept off the decks, racing to take up position to intercept the Canedian fighters. Salzland F-22 Raptors and F-15 C fighters joined them, along with a half-dozen AWACS airborne radar systems.

Without a doubt the coming battle would be epic in scale.

Ralkovia is announcing that if this despicable and unneccessary blockade around Canedian Army is not broken up in the next 48 hours, a large ralkovian force will break it up, we can even promise you a large blockade around each of your countries.

Sirs,

Having just received your message, we feel that we must point out that a diplomatic solution has been attempted. Numerous nations have attempted to work with Canedian Army, and been ignored, or subjected to unprovoked nuclear strikes. Even now, instead of pursuing diplomacy and accepting even the most basic limitations of WMD programs which this government has already deployed successfully, we might add, we detect Canedian armed forces preparing to launch attacks against us. Surely the Government of Ralkovia does not wish to be associated with a rogue nation which has the blood of millions on its hands, following multiple successful nuclear attacks? A nation that, we might add, stabbed its previous ally in the back once it believed it could find a better deal siding with its enemy.

Vessels carrying civilian cargo are allowed to pass without hinderence, including foreign-flagged vessels. We cannot emphasize this point enough. Only military cargo is being interdicted, in the interests of ending Canedian Army's wars of aggression abroad. After 24 hours, should Ralkovia continue to express support for this mass-murdering rogue regime and Salzland remain the only nation committed to the cause of Justice, then we will pull our forces out.

For the time being, all vessels are allowed to enter or leave Canedian Army at will. SDF units will take defensive actions only. Nobody's even attacked him yet. I'm sitting in the middle of the ocean just preventing him from shipping out or bringing in military equipment. The submarine slowly made it's way through the waters and eventually found itself passing under the Salzland blockade. Then, moments later they were on the blockaded side, sailing through the waters with two teams worth of 'White Shield' special forces. There was a red light in the compartment where the first team was and soon it turned to green. One of the members of the team undid a water-tight door's lock and in moments Head Lieutenant Gyurka Szegedi felt the water rush over his legs and quickly rise up over his head. Since they were all clinging to the Zodiac they rose up at an astonishingly quick rate near the coast. They piled in and as they began pulling their berets and other such items out of their water-proof bags they also started for shore. Approximately fifteen minutes later the raft was deflated, stashed in a secret spot, and the team was in cover of trees while scanning the area before coming on to the Ursavian, Salzland, and Liestung radio systems that might recieve the coded burst-message.

"This is White Shield 1, we have touched down on the shore, I repeat we have touched down; over." Head Lieutenant Gyurka said.

Moments later the message was coded and sent.

Lynion tried, and was ignored. Kahanistan tried, and was ignored. Uiri stood up for his territorial integrity, and was betrayed at the drop of a hat. We in Salzland harbor a great deal of respect for your nation, and even maintain an embassy in Ralkovia. The Rithic ships finally made their way to the Canedian waters, the magestic fighter ships showed their Black Dragon emblem and each of the turrets was sparkly clean, ready to get dirty from the grime surrounding the missiles. The aircraft carriers only carried twenty bombers, the rest were fighters. The ships pulled into position and the crew readied themselves. Well, speaking for myself, I've got an even larger force already deployed for a peacekeeping operation, plus forces for domestic defense, plus a limit of about 9 and a quarter million for my entire military, including logistics. So to keep things even remotely realistic, it's what I have.

Admiral Jaeger sipped his morning tea, peering over maps of Canedian Island and of radio messages sent to his fleet. His was the first fleet ever sent from Leistung to consist entirely of ships manufactured by Eisenseite Naval Industries, and his Hauptstadt Class CVN flagship was the first new-age carrier vessel to go into battle. The Koeningshofen was flanked by three other Hauptstadt Class vessels as well as hundreds of other ships of every shape and size.

Trailing behind, and ready to deploy forces should the situation go south was a mile-long convoy of troops and tanks loaded onto amphibious assault ships. They were well-guarded and waiting in reserve (OOC: don't get any ideas, this is just to show that they're standing by).

The communications officer motioned to Jaeger, who had just finished his tea. He took a deep breath and got up from his command chair, walking over to the communications panel. The comm officer saluted, and Jaeger saluted back.

"Yes, Lieutenant? News from our allies?" he asked. He always had preached that good communication was the key to victory, and he would be sure to be in constant contact with each of the other fleets.

"No, sir. We're nearing the blockade, and our IFF code has not yet been specified. We probably should contact Salzland's forces," the officer responded.

"Ah, yes. I had lost track of time," he said, his mind wandering. Jaeger was an excellent strategist, and adept at getting his men to follow him, but there was no one who could say he was particularly active. "Send out a message to the Salzland Navy, as followed..."

The task force of Daiwizian ships began to head out from port. The End Alls were already at sea, for they were too large to put into most conventinal ports, and required very little maintenance anyways.
"Get me the rest of the fleet, I want to know how long it will take to get to the blockade." Said captain Salazar. Many had made jokes about being named after a ruler of Salzland, but he merely dismissed it as the normal gab of a crew.

OOC:Lol. You do realize, that from what you have done, you have used up pretty much all the nukes? Also, no nations said they would nuke you, or planned to nuke you, and yet you decided to make an attempted glassing.

My nation is putting very little research into the production of nukes, and merely uses a few milligrams of Plutonium-239, mixed with Gillium, so as to stabalize it. These are then packed into the tops of ballistic missiles, and detonated in an implosion, using high explosive lenses. The Plutonium is then compressed, and the explosives are detonated.
We produce the plutonium using Uranium-232, from our nuclear power plants. Because we can only produce it in such small amounts, we only have three of them.

Roef hasn't posted in any of the operation threads, as far as I am concerned CA could not have possessed any nukes and I am ignoring Stok's nukes as he was just being a bully, quite frankly.

Ok Uiri, here's whats happening:

CA has been nuking haphazardly and for no reason, and invading random people for god-knows-what reason. Salzland, Lynion (sp?), myself, and Daiwiz are blockading him, trying to force him into submission. Ralkovia offers him support (no one knows why), and GM is offering a peace conference. There are also saboteurs on Canedia's land, trying to stir up trouble and disable his nuclear facilities.

I've set up a blockade against Canedian, he tried to play chicken and bait me into starting a shooting war, and basically everyone who's frustrated with him has started bringing in fleets. As of now it's a tense standoff, with Canedian on one side hiding behind the threat of Ralkovia and RAPS intervention, and everybody else on the other.

OOC:I am willing to go. Although I would prefer to just blast Canedian from existence, for the normal NS reasons: just for the lulz. Although, he used nuclear weapons unprovoked, and without any apparent reason. I'll bring this up, etc at the meeting.

Task force Graith, was making good headway. They had still not received any replies from the allied forces, but a message had been forwarded, informing them of the colours of the Uir fleet.
Having recently been in a war with Uir, although no casualties were caused, the sailors were weary, but decided to put this behind them. They realized that they had a common enemy: the Canedians. Together, they would fight against the Canedians, although they were currently too small to stand against any nation of respectable size.

Deep within the confines of the Ohio class SSBN, Krakt.

'Sir! We have a possible leak forming!" Yelled the eradic head engineer up the speaking tube, towards the bridge. "You might want to see this!" In the background could be heard the other engineers getting on their radioactive suits, as the engineers voice came through tinny, because of the respirator.
"Very good catching it, I'll be down there in a minute." He replied, as he vaulted out of his chair. If there was a leak forming, they would be forced to abandon the ship, and its nuclear missile. They had few enough as it was, and this would be needed to properly threaten the Canedians, even if its explosive yeild was insignificant compared to conventional warheads. He had come to the stairs leading to the missile compartment, and quickly donned one of the emergency suits. While these would barely protect him, it was better than going down there without a suit.
With a tinny metallic voice he spoke to the HE. "What's the situation? What's happened?" He asked, out of breath, and with a hint of fright.
"Well sir, we think we may have a crack in the warhead forming. We have flooded the port in a hope to help contain any radiation leaks, but we don't know if there is even any cracks. There is no way of knowing out here. We are gonna have to turn back, and get as much of the unneeded crew off of this ship." He said, while turning a valve to close the port.

The task force of Daiwizian ships began to head out from port. The End Alls were already at sea, for they were too large to put into most conventinal ports, and required very little maintenance anyways.

We would appreciate it if you would allow us to command everything taking place on the land seeing as we shall be sending one (1) brigade which is 144,000 men including the logistics, only 12,000 combatants. We shall be landing the first regiment and bringing in the second by plane once we have secured an airfield or airport to land in.

The CVBG shall be identified as Uniform Alfa and comprises the following:

We shall open it up to Canedian recruits at such time that we feel that your nation is becoming rather peaceful. Your old leader shall probably become Defence minister or whatever. We have a democracy so they may elect Mr. Hardwood Jr.'s party in the majourity in one house at which time he shall probably become President or Prime Minister depending on the house he is elected to. We shall be establishing our military and temporary government before allowing you to rebuild to be sure that fatalities are kept to the minimum.

The CVBG, SSN and SSBN left port while the landing fleet was still getting ready. If the Canedians allowed Uiri to land troops via aeroplane it would be much easier and the Salzlandic (demonym?) would be informed immediately.

It is in the best interest of this conflict that CA be allowed to be to remain a independent state. These conflicts usually turn for the worst when a nation is invaded, with resistance movements and such. The original demands look acceptable and the peace conference would a good way to fix the problem. Now, regarding the possible threats of invasion against CA. A small force, but kewens largest submerine force was sneaking at the blockade at highest possible speed, dozens of small prototype subs formed a ring around a tanker sized sub as they sped to the nation of CA, carrying medical supplies food,water and other neccesitys and the 5 tank promised just becasue they were in the neighbor hood.

Having just received your message, we are pleased to see that you consider our original conditions fair. The current status of Allied forces appears to be to maintain positions while the Government of Uiri assumes temporary control of the Government of Canedian Army, per mutual agreement.

While this situation is personally unacceptable to the Government of Salzland, who feel that the Government of Canedian Army is being let off easily and will not learn anything as a result, we remain hopeful that intervention by the Uir will be beneficial for Canedian Army, and allow them to become full participating members in the global community. This is the second time Canedian Army has pledged itself to another nation in the interests of avoiding a conflict, however. The first time ended as soon as world opinion turned against the nation Canedian Army pledged to follow (ironically the same nation that it successfully attacked with a nuclear weapon) and Canedian promptly attempted to engage that nation, so we remain doubtful that Canedian Army will fully honor the agreement that it has freely entered.

The Ministerial Hall, located in the ASoGM's capital city of Springfield, was prepared in order to host the peace conference. The metal detectors were tested to make sure no weapons would make it through, K-9 units were brought on scene in order to detect any explosives that a representative might try to smuggle in, and Secret Service members were tasked with strengthening the Ministerial Hall's already tight security.

Meanwhile, a message was dispatched to the parties that were committed to attending, asking them to hold off hostilities until the conclusion of the peace conference.

What is the purpose of having Ralkovian troops in your nation? We hope that you have told them that we shall be setting up a temporary governmnet until such time that elections may be held on a democracy modelled after our own. You have already agreed to us setting up a democracy in your nation. We have sent the planes to land in your largest airbase.

What do you mean about sending them to a navy? Do you mean a port where the ships can land or only sending their navies? If you shall not allow us in without the promise that you shall be returned to dictatorship once you have been stabilized, then we shall promise you that. Under the condition that the dictator shall be elected every 10 years in order to prevent oppression of the people.

The blockade shall stay in order to prevent the acquisition of NBC weapons. All other cargo shall be allowed to pass. This is a security measure. You have to be able to trust us that everything will be returned to normal.

Kennedy was given the report as he read it to himself and smiled. He looked up at Rathma as Alex realised what was going on. The admirals eyes were fueled with war as they waited for a moment.

"The Canedian's have made their move," started Kennedy. "We wait one day then they attempt to strike us. That'll give us an excuse to invade them. I hate this pressure from the blockarder's but if they attack us then its offically war,"

"The Canedians are idoits," stated Rathma. "We've got an invasion force of over a million and now they're making demands like we're the smaller force,"

"It's a million and a half with the combine nations," corrected Kennedy. "Maybe a million and 3/4 if you include the navy and air force but then it again it'll be close to two million,"

Admiral Jaeger read the incoming transmission with increasing bemusement. The Canedians actually think that they could withstand our invasion? Perhaps they're stupider than I originally believed... His line of thought was broken by the voice of General Ackermann, the commanding officer of Heersgruppe I and the infantry division soon to be sent ashore as peacekeepers.

"Admiral, it appears that the Canedians are fueling nuclear weapons and preparing to attack should we maintain the blockade. I highly recommend that we make the first move--a nuke exploding over water could be catastrophic," he said, pounding his fist in his hand.

"Agreed," Jaeger responded. "My ships will fuel and arm their Tomahawks in preparation for a land strike, and all aircraft onboard the four carriers will begin launch preparations. Even if nothing happens, it's always better to be prepared."

60 million? ORBAT for the transports and fleets, please, unless they're planning on swimming. Because the only fleet you posted is maybe twice the size of mine, and has no transports (or at least nowhere near enough to land 60 million).

Also, you realize that you're only being used by him, and that he's going to take those troops and go on the offensive. Because that's what he does: he becomes compliant until a big nation takes pity on him, then the bravado comes back, and whoever negotiated with him is suddenly target #1

3.) Any WMDs that Canedia needs must be approved by a board of ralkovian and international directory.

Canedian Army unjustly used nuclear weapons on our capital, killing 9 million civilians, 1 million military irregulars, and 20 percent of our regular military. They used nuclear weapons on our largest airbase, destroying 20 percent of our airforce. In perspective, that kills over two thousand people. In this, their nuclear weapons and conventional weaponry have killed over 15 million of our civilian and military personnel combined. In return, we may have killed a few thousand of theirs. This is because of their brutal use of nuclear weapons on civilians, turning this into a total war from our strikes on their military facilities. They deployed dozens and dozens of B-2 stealth bombers and F-22s into our airspace, raining down hell on our people. We retailiated with MiGs and more Tupolev bombers, only to have him strike nuclear missiles at us.

In this, we demand dominionship of Canedian Army, which will be under the status of the previous treaty demands. If they absolutely refuse to comply with our demands, we will fly out aircraft that are currently defending airspace to get back at the terrible actions they have done to us. The Government of Salzland wishes to note that Condition #1 of the Ralkovian proposal exatcly matches Condition #1 of Salzland's demands against Canedian Army, and that Ralkovian Conditions #2-#4 effectively accomplish the same as Salzland Conditions #2 and #3, through ownership of Canedian WMDs basically transfering to Ralkovian control, rather than being outright destroyed. They are still removed from the Canedian arsenal, which was the objective of Salzland Conditions #2 and #3.

In other words, the Conditions that Ralkovia found so offensive as to merit threatening the deployment of 60 million troops, as well as threatening every nation currently involved against Canedian Army, are the same as those proposed by Ralkovia for peace.

Ten TU-22 bombers took off, each one carrying a Kitchen missile with a 1000kg high-explosive warheads. They would focus these missiles at larger ships of the Canedian Army Navy, and hopefully destroy those ships. Beside them taking were twenty SU-27 fighters, each carrying two 250 lb bombs in addition to two aphid-air air missiles. The SU-27s would escort the TU-22s, and drop off their 250 lb bombs over the Canedian ships, too.

East Congaree Territorial Waters, Headed Towards a Canedian Battle Group


"Damn!" a SU-27 pilot screamed. "That's the second one of 'em they got" the flight leader in a TU-22 stated. The six cannons in the eight TU-22s were firing out at the F-22s crazily, spraying their 23MM defense ammo at them as the SU-27s backed up their fire with aphid air-air missiles and their 30MM cannon. An SU-27 fell, and within seconds the SU-27s had fired all their missiles and cannon shots. However, the TU-22s continued to fire out their cannon fire at a rapid rate. They could only keep it up for two more minutes....
