Welcome to Miroxia News, Channel 8. I'm Veronica Willhems here with the latest news from our proud nation, Miroxia!
In a breaking news story that leaked into the press just hours ago, while looking for oil in the Miroxian Territorial Waters, aspiring oild digger James Frankson struck his black gold at 3:08 pm. After searching for a long 30 years, he finally found his prize.
"Yes," he said in an interview, "I am glad that after 30 years, I found my prize."
It was revealed in that interview that James Frankson, 73, will set up five oil riggs 4 miles from the southern Miroxian coast. He has already incorporated his findings into what is now known as the "Mirox Oil Corporation". He plans to hand down the buisness to his son, 32-year-old Chris Frankson.
High Councilor Hartford Benson was caught for a quick interview about the situation before leaving to negociate more peace with the northern royalist. In the short paragraphs he gave us, his voice seemed concerned, and near the end of the interview, the word "Griffencrest" sparked near insanity among surrounding reporters. Sources close to Benson report that he is planning to reposses the corporation and put it under government control. He will then negociate with Griffencrest about the matter. Before this can happen though, a vote with the Miroxian Council will be in place.

Subject: Oil
It has come to my attention that a local Miroxian citizen has discovered some oil in southern Miroxian waters. Since I am currently waiting to negociate peace with north Miroxian royalists, I must make my e-mail short and sweet. Before we take military action for oil possesion, let me extend to you an invitation to the next meeting of the Miroxian COuncil, in which we will discuss this matter. Please reply.
