The collapse of the government in Ameriganastan was not a victory. Ascelonia needed to restore order and establish a democratic government in favor of capitalism. The rebellion had totally destroyed order in Ameriganastan.

While the Government of Salzland expresses gratitude that the Government of Ascelonia is willing to step in and aid in peacekeeping and reconstruction efforts, we are somewhat puzzled that a demand has been issued excluding all foreign nations except for Ascelonia and its regional allies. Certainly such an action would not be in the best interests of Ameriganastan.

While you are certainly within your rights to point out the apparent "large" Salzland Defense Force presence deployed for peacekeeping operations in Ameriganastan, we would like to point out that Ameriganastan at the moment has a population of roughly 190 million, and appears to be in a total state of anarchy (OOC: Per the OP). As such, we feel that it is prudent to err on the side of caution, and ensure that peacekeeping forces are over-prepared, rather than over-whelmed. Additionally, by mutual consent between Salzland and Ameriganastan, SDF Air and Naval deployments have remained in the region until the establishment of an internationally-verified elected government.

We look forward to co-ordinating efforts aimed at restoring an elected government to Ameriganastan, and appreciate your commitment of forces to aid us in achieving this objective.

OOC Edit: And I'm almost certainly light on the logistics personnel, in reality I should probably have closer to 225,000 across all three branches of the SDF

OOC Edit #2: As a bit of comparison, the U.S. deployed somewhere between 12-20,000 troops to Bosnia for peacekeeping back in 1995, when the U.S. Defense budget was in the toilet. Those troops were intended to help police a population of approximately 5 million. So for policing a nation 38 times the size of Bosnia, I'm not being entirely unreasonable.

In response to the increase of forces within Ameriganastan, the AOW is sending 12 battalions of peacekeepers (under Ascelonian command) and a secret air division. Ascelonia will also be deploying more forces and reorganizing (Ascelonia is a sea/air based nation).

1. We didn't threaten to nuke anybody. He said he would use nuclear weapons as a first strike.

2. The nuclear weapons would kill your 2 billion population (not to mention fall out carried by the arctic winds). It would also cut off wherever the hell you've been getting the food to feed that many people.
