War, yet again, had been averted, thanks to diplomatic efforts of the Uir. While David Aposon, President of Uiri, viewed this as a good thing, his Vice-President and the Prime Minister didn't feel the same way. Afterall, who will take Uir declarations of war seriously if we always end up negotiating a peace? David tried as best he could to shake off these thoughts. Peace was best.

However, the peace which had been negotiated would be sending Mr. Aposon into what was only hours ago enemy territory to be invaded if the Canedians refused to co-operate. He would have his Berreta 92 as always. Hidden in the left breast pocket. He wore a blue suit with a blue tie and a white shirt underneath the suit's jacket. He had two bodyguards. Both had the same type of handgun as he but they also had a FAMAS rifle each too. He wouldn't go into something like a trap without weaponry.

The Canedians seemed nice however they had made nuclear threats. Uiri had 200 'peacekeepers' which were real versions of what the Canedians were threatening East Congaree and others with. David had always wondered what ever happened to West Congaree anyways. The peace had been negotiated and as far as most of the belligerents were concerned Op: Chartham had been a success without leading to a longer scale war.

The president boarded the plane and prepared for the long plane ride to the Canedians. He was officially there to inspect their armed forces however he was hoping to also open up diplomatic ties, maybe forge an alliance. The Canedians developed some mean weapons and maybe a Free Trade Agreement could get some of their pistols into the hands of Uir defending themselves from every crazy guy and his mother.

The canedian general was happy to see the president of Uiri.

Later the general started speking of an alliance, just before they got to the base where the Armed forces where ready for inspect.
The general was happy to planing to make an free trade agreement. However, the general, who always want something back for something.
He spoken this:
President, i want to offer you a free trade agreement. I will give you weapons, and in return i want some other things, like ofcourse, help in wars, weapons, and tanks.

OOC: My President's name is David Aposon and he didn't mention anything yet - it was more explaining what he was thinking about as he traveled to your nation. No matter however some nations would be upset if they wrote something which wasn't supposed to be for your gov't and then you acted as if you know it ICly.

Perhaps you could set up a factory, import the necessary materials and export the tanks to wherever. You benefit from cheap labour, raising profit margins and it lowers our unemployment rate.

As for weapons - we are fine thank you, however if we do see any of your products which are an improvement on the versions we currently use we will most likely switch. Perhaps, you could market your sidearms in Uiri as they are permissible. As for help in wars and such, perhaps it would be best for you to join OSAFU in addition to a Free Trade Agreement.

Your military looks very good actually, and the tank seems like a solid main battle tank. Do you make all your weaponry yourself?"

The tanks are disgned by my best people yes.

The Free Trade Agreement shall basically eliminate all tariffs between us. Is that agreeable?"

"Then it is settled, we shall eliminate tariffs between us and you shall join OSAFU as a freely assosciating state. Wonderful. Remember you can call on me if you are in a jam."

I have some problems here, East Congaree and atleast 5 others are attacking me.
I am alone, so 6 against 1. I need help.
I bombed big part of East Congaree's capital, and he is attacking my factory's and airbases.
I want help, can i get some?

"Err...you mean this, where I am standing, right here is technically still a war zone? And you have 6 nations against you? I thought I had ended the war. Sorry, but I can't help you win this war, Uiri would be destroyed, not to mention we wouldn't be taken seriously. Tell you what, I'll go back to Uiri and think about it."

David Aposon left, having made the deals and taken account of his military. He hated it when the nation he made a deal with was in war when he had made the deal.

The East Congaree followers didnt want to help him anymore, because he wanted me as a dominion, of his own. They dont agree. We will fight back. The Operation Chatham has, i believe, ended.
