GNN REPORT

Breaking News, just minutes ago, rebels took to the streets in the largest rebellion since 1863, when the current government came into power. The rebels are believed to be led by General Samuel Pines, a high ranking general who was recently relived of his command when he was discovered to be a member of the Gordonopian Communist Party. It is still unknown exactly how many soldiers are participating but we do know that at least 15 percent of the civilian population are part of the rebels, many of them not communists. It is possible that they are angry that Gordonopia has recently opened up to the world in the form of Embassies and Trade. Up until 2006, Gordonopia lived in seclusion on the island of Gordonopia. But now we have established contact and are beginning to modernize everything, from the military to health care.

Head Sergeant Markos Fazekas looked over the street just within the premises of the Ursavian embassy walls. He was in a Leopard II that had been air-shipped at the word of rebellion nearby. There weren't many and yes they had been without Gordonopian consent but it was in defense of the embassy. Markos watched in the distance as rebels moved about doing...whatever it was the rebels were going but none daring to go against the six Leopard IIs just withinh the embassy perimiter. As a few started approaching Markos slipped inside the tank and sat himself in the commander's chair. He didn't want to fire but he'd be willing to if they stepped in to the perimiter.

*slowly, the image of the reporter comes back on screen*

We're so sorry for that interruption. A tank shell just exploded very close to our building and temporarily took out power. But we now have some new information. The rebels now consist of 36% of the military as well as about 25% of the civilian population. They soldiers are all armed with HCC Sub-Machie guns, and they have in 23% of the nations A-1B Main Battle Tanks. The rebellion is now nationwide, and it has been confirmed that General Pines is the leader. Leading the loyalist forces is the talented General William Perkins, a former subordinate of Pines who recently surpassed him. The loyalist army is known to comprise of the rest of the military, but the civilian population is only aiding in rural areas. It is believed that the loyalists are armed with superior technology. The rebels have not been seen yet with the new A-1 Howitzer, or with any tank other than the A-1B.
This just in, reportedly 19% of the Air Force has joined the rebellion. Battles are now taking place in the sky above the capital. Also, the capital, appears to be the Epicenter of the rebellion. Rebel outbreaks in farther away in large cities such as Deska have reported far smaller numbers of rebels, and the navy has reported a mere 1% of their men rebelling. This could possibly be explained by the fact that Gordonopia City is considered the most open city so there are more communists, although that doesn't explain why so many non-communists, some from the majority party, have joined. Please stay tuned for more updates

At General Perkins Headquarters:

"Sir, we've received reports that they have begun attacking embassies! We must help defend them, or risk ruining our diplomatic relations." Shouted a sergeant at the communications desk.
"I agree, but we cannot transfer too many men, I propose that we airdrop a platoon of paratroopers with Assault Rifles into each embassy that agrees." General Perkins told his aides.
"That is the best we can do sir?" Replied a scared looking Colonel.
"Yes, we can't send tanks, we need them to fight the enemy's, we can't send aircraft, they can't land, and we can't send our regular infantry, there all already in combat. The airborne regiments are the only force that isn't currently needed. Now, contact the embassies at once."

"GUNNER, ENEMY INFANTRYMAN AT TWELVE O' CLOCK! IDENTIFY!" Head Sergeant Markos yelled as he stared through his sights at the nearest rebel.

"IDENTIFIED!" The gunner yelled.

"LOAD, LOAD SABOT!" Markos yelled.

"UP!" The loader yelled from in the turret.

"FIRE!" Markos yelled as the rebel crossed the yellow line around the embassy.

"ON THE WAY!" The gunner yelled.

The rebel turned from a man carrying a Gordonopian submachine gun with a belt of grenades and a "Hammer and Sickle" spraypainted on his shirt with red paint to a large stain inside the embassy perimiter.

"Squad, this is Head Sergeant Fazekas, priority targets are all people within the perimiter!" Markos yelled, looking through his sites.

A resounding reply of 'rodger' came from every single tank and several more rounds were fired at people who dared to cross the line...as if the crews of the Leopard IIs were scared of them. Even the tanks the rebels had could be taken out and barely hurt the Leopard IIs that the Ursavians used for their entire military.

We have received reports that your embassies are under attack. We request permission to airdrop a platoon of airborne troops in each embassy. The troops will be armed with 35 HCD Assault Rifles an 5 LR50 Sniper Rifles. We are sorry that we cannot provide more troops, but all other men are needed in other areas of the city. Please reply as soon as you can, an we will have the men there within 5 minutes of your answer.

We regretfully inform you that we do not need said support at the current moment We are regretful for it's without your consent that we deployed six fully armed Leopard IIs which are currently guarding our outer perimiter and according to radio reports: have fired on rebel forces that crossed the perimiter and judging by radio reports that were sent directly to the Ministrey of Diplomacy, we've caused approximately ten deaths so far. We would suggest you deploy those airborne forces elsewhere.

"Sir, we have some bad news, the rebels have in there possesion 20 Brand New GMT-1 Medium Tanks and are using them to attack the embassies. How are they supposed to hold out?"
"I'll tell you how. The embassies aren't stupid. As soon as they heard about the uprising, I'm sure they requested backup from there home country and I'm sure that they requested at least a few tanks. The question is, will it be enough. Pray to God that they don't send in the MBT's that they have, or it will be a real battle. Medium Tanks are one thing, but the strongest tanks in the army are a whole different game. If we recieve reports of MBT's near the Embassy Compounds, request permission for a tactical airstrike."

"Go ahead."
"The navy has wiped out it's small group of rebels, and all cities except Gordonopia and Deska have been settled. We also have reports that the rebels are down to 26% of the air power that they started with. Unfortunately, they have taken the entire international district, except for the embassy compounds, which are holding out"
"Than our first priority is to liberate that district"

Within minutes of recieving word of rebellion in Gordonopia, a flight of CV-30 "Vogel" rotorcraft were scrambled to evacuate the Falkasian Embassy. Of the three sent up, one one be actually carrying the staff, while the others would be dropping off a company-sized unit of Guardsmen to defend the Embassy compound.

Near the Falkasian Embassy
The Vogels descended from the clouds like angels, their white paint jobs gleaming in the sun as the sounds of battle echoed all around them. As they approached the embassy, their engines were transfered into VTOL mode with the flick of a switch. One of them landed on the roof on the embassy and awaited confirmation that the ambassador and staff were onboard. As for the other two, they remained hovering over the compound, extending fast-lines for their cargo to deploy down through.

Of course we will report such a thing but have no fear. Our superior tanks and strategy will easily be able to take any frontal blow that their tanks can deliver. We will report if we see them however and grant you permission to call in tactical airstrikes in the "danger-close" range of our embassy if neccesary.

Head Sergeant Markos peered through his sights as several CV-90s and infantrymen ran left and right, returning fire at the rebels who tried to cross the line. He took aim, and after the same process that everybody was required to go through a HEAT round exploded from the barrel, flew through the air, and hit the engine block of a fast-approaching modified truck. It did two flips in the air and landed in a large group of rebels.

4 hours after the battle for the international district

"General, I'm pleased to report that the international district is safe, all rebels have been cleared, with minimal losses. The 50 A-6B's were taken out in an airsrtrike after nearly leveling the Gordonopian Arms International Wharehouse."
"Good Colonel, now it's time to move on to the Residential District to finally clear the city. After that, we can clear out the last of the rebals in Deska, where Pines has fled."

In his office, President Chris Rescudo sat troubled, his telephone to his ear. On the other side, Richard Glass, the Aglorean Ambassador to Gordonopia, spoke in a suprisingly calm tone, all things considered.

"Are you sure you aren't in immediate danger, Richard?"

"Chris, don't worry. The rebels aren't on our doorstep yet. Besides, the Gordononian government should have this whole thing under control shortly."

"I'm going to send something in. I have to make sure you all make it out alive."

"What should I tell them?"

"Tell them we'll accept the airdrop. You may not want to believe it, Richard, but you'll need all the help you can get."

"Right. I'll forward the message now. Goodbye, Mr. President. And Godspeed."

There was a click as the Ambassador disconnected. The president stood and stretched. His aide walked in, with a file folder in hand. "What more do we have?"

"Mr. President, based on the Gordonopian population of about 8 million, and based on the numbers we have so far, it seems the rebels have no more than 2 million followers."

"Christ! They can't possibly keep that many men armed and fed for very long without funding from some government. Alright, I want thirty-five men airdropped into the embassy. And another sixty-five to be moved into the Gordonopia Airport. The way it's looking, these guys will need all the help they can get."

The aide left the room quickly, already on the phone with the Department of Defense. In five minutes the men would be ready to go, and in another five they'd be in the air.

I have ordered a total of one hundred men into your nation. 35 will be reinforcing the embassy. The remaining 65 will be landing in your airport on transport planes. They will have enough supplies with them to last a few days, so hopefully this little issue is resolved by then. The 65 will not move against the enemy without your consent, but they are not under your command. If you need them in a push against the rebels, don't hesitate to ask.

Ooc: er, Ursava I don’t mean to rain on your parade but you do realise the improbability/criminal action that illegally transporting not just 1 but 6 Leopard tanks into a peaceful state, then setting them up in the open around your embassy and then firing on citizens and the territory of a friendly state constitutes? Secondly most embassies are a] walled compounds and b] small, meaning just fitting those tanks, let alone along acquiring a firing range within your own embassy grounds is essentially impossible. Oh well, it’s Gordonopia’s story not mine.

IC: Chief Information Officer Alexander Omp hastily marched into the ambassadorial suite and switched on the television. “Watch this!” he insisted as most of the embassy staff followed into the room.

“What do you want us to do?” he enquired as the screen faded just before the first round of sporadic gunfire sounded in the not-so-distant background.

“All right, look, there’re procedures for these kinds of situations. Alex notify DFAIT [Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade] of the situation, make sure you mention we’re okay and the embassy is secure. Omorst find out where the families are get them to come here. Illo take the car down the road, pick up the kids and bring them here…”

A loud explosion noisily rattled the windows.

“Sweet Zombie Jesus!” exclaimed the Ambassador. The phone rang on line 8, the sentry box.

“No… close the gate but we stay open... The other two might have to do security checks… okay”

“Ebouka says the explosion was in our [the embassy] district. He thinks one of the embassies just fired on the protagonists.”

“Bloody hell! They’re shooting citizens, are they trying to start a war?” muttered one of the staffers.

“Look, we don’t know what he situation is but I’ll need everyone to keep their heads down. Actually Andens there’s a convenience store down the road. Take some petty cash and get some medical supplies, food and water. We don’t know how things are going to play out. The rest of you need to organise for us staying here possibly for a couple of nights, Maxoun I need you to be in charge of this, okay?”

The ambassador picked up the phone. “I need you to do this now!” he said dismissing the staff and quickly dialling the number to the Gordonopian Foreign Affairs department to try and ascertain what was happening…

General, that is good news. I will combine my forces from the embassy and the airport into a single task force of 100 men. As the force is relatively small, I must request all availible information about enemy troop strength. My men will begin moving in on Residential district to aid in the assault. Victory will be ours, so help us God.

OOC: Actually, they are outside but still in the lot. Also, those 'citizens' who were armed crossed in to the embassy's lot armed with harmful intentions. Thus, when rebellion started rising I transported the things and used them to protect my embassy, nothing more. Also, I told him and he was fine with it.

I.C:

The Leopard IIs scanned as rebels started running away, not wanting to mess with the six armored beasts of the Ursavian army. Upon messaging of the telegram Markos came over the radio to General Perkins to talk to him.

"General Perkins, this is Head Sergeant Markos Fazekas and I currently have six Leopard IIs under my command. We are perfectly willing to spear-head a distractional assault while you flank any major rebel forces that remain." Markos said over his radio.

He then leaned back, waiting for a response.

Our current estimates of the rebels remaining in the industrial district is 5000. These men are not civilians. They are former soldiers that have joined the rebellion. We think that they have been left here as a covering force, as all the other 50,000 rebel soldiers have pulled out to the city of Deska. All civilians that joined the rebellion are either dead, or captured. We suggest that you attack from the South Side of the district as all of their tanks are in the West Side fighting ours.

We would greatly appreciate it if your tanks would assemble in the industrial district, the assembly area for the assault on Deska. We would like it if your tanks would aid in the assault. However, if you or your government does not wish to do this, you do not have to. We will need all the help we can get as it is estimated that Deska contains 120,000 former soldiers and another 30,000 armed civilians. They also have about 200 A-6B Main Battle Tanks and probably 2 squadrons of CF-1's.

The Leopard IIs moved through the almost empty streets where the rebels had once been. They passed several embassies and Markos stood looking around out of the hatch. He rested a hand on the machine gun and looked ahead as they slowly approached the industrial district, or at least came in to distant sight of it. He couldn't see any of the tanks and soldiers from his distance but he could see a good portion of the district and as he approached he could hear the Gordonopian tanks and further in to the district he saw them. He tucked in to the tank and started firing on the enemy tanks. It wasn't the full force but they still started driving in reverse.

"THIS IS HEAD SERGEANT FAZEKAS, I HAVE MADE CONTACT WITH A LARGE PORTION OF ENEMY ARMOR AND I'M FALLING BACK!!!" Markos yelled in to the radio for anybody to hear.

The explosions of tanks firing on tanks and shells impacting buildings and street corners roared through the air. The one hundred men of the Aglorean force moved swiftly through the south side of the industrial district. According the General Bell, the enemy may have up to 5000 men in the area. Hopefully reinforcements would be on the way soon.

They reached what seemed to be the remains of a small factory, and divided the force into five groups of twenty. The teams (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo) began to move northward, so as to avoid the conflict with larger forces.

Team Alpha moved towards what was left of the largest factory in sight. Only a single wall stood, and that made them vulnerable. Suddenly, a rebel soldier walked into view, thinking he was alone. The twenty men in Alpha slowly and quietly surrounded the man, and when there was no way for him to escape, they leapt out of their cover. "Don't take another step! Drop your gun, kick it behind you, and put your hands behind your head!" the Sergeant barked.

Seeing he was surrounded, the rebel did as he was told, and was quickly tossed to the ground as the interrogation began. It took a little bit of persuasion, but the man finally revealed what he knew. The entire team of Alpha was being watched, and they were surrounded.

"RODGER THAT, YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO BRING IT IN DANGER-CLOSE!" Markos yelled as his tanks kept driving in reverse until they arrived in a train-yard.

There, they spread out to cover and hid their tanks. They would wait for the enemy to get close and then they would pop out from behind the trains and smaller buildings to fire off rounds at the approaching enemy tanks. Markos looked at the satalite image provided by Ursavian systems in the planet's orbit. He leaned forward, watching the screen with a calculating yet concerned and worried commander's eye. Tanks, hundreds of them. There was no way he could take on those tanks, even if they were of inferior armor and weapons, without at least the most basic infantry support or more tanks.

"This is Head Sergeant Markos Fazekas, we're going to need more than just artillery support with how many they've got coming. I've hidden myself and my other tanks in a train yard but I don't know if they know I'm in here yet so I'll need backup whether it's tanks or missiles from infantry, soon." Five remaining men from Alpha stood and sprinted away, firing at every target they could as they searched for cover. A ditch from an artillery shell was the only thing they could get to in time, and they all leapt for it. It wasn't deep, but it was better than nothing. Alpha began to return fire.

As Delta approached Markos came in to sight of the group and turned in, waiting a good distance behind Delta as to not catch them with the concussive force of the shots. Markos got on the radio to the nearest radio man for the allied forces.

"This is Head Sergeant Markos Fazekas, we've come her to support you so you can fall back." Markos said before peering in to his sights.

"GUNNER; ENEMY MACHINEGUN AT TEN THIRTY, IDENTIFY!" Markos yelled to the gunner.

"IDENTIFIED!" The gunner yelled back.

"LOAD, LOAD SABOT!" Markos yelled to the loader.

"UP!" The loader yelled back.

"FIRE!" Marcus called out.

"ON THE WAY!" The gunner yelled, pulling the trigger.

In the matter of second it took for that process, the machinegunner and his loader had started putting in a new box only to have a SABOT round turn them in to a smoking red and black stain. Then they aquired a new target and the crew repeated the same process while the other tanks fired. They were hoping to get kills but as long as they at least managed to keep heads down they could cover the infantry and later they could hopefully ambush the armored force with enough numbers.

Having assembled all the Diplomatic staff, their family and a handful of Gordonopian friends most of the people inside the Biotopian embassy sat in to the conference room watching events unfold on the wide-screen. The sound of anxious tea-leaf stirring and the occasional group arousal to a particular scene of the fighting ebbed beneath the ongoing narrative of the news presenter. The embassy had ascertained the current situation and made the appropriate provisions. The swarms of armed anti-government rebels that the Ambassador had been warned about had failed to appear beyond a few bands of desperados who were gunned down near the embassy by Ursavian and Gordonopian troops. Sitting in his suite the Ambassador was in conversation with Chief Information Officer Alexander Omp while the TV flashed quietly in the background:

CIO: “It does seem strange… this sudden uprising.”
A: “Yes. There doesn’t appear to be much organisation to what they’re [the rebels] doing.”
CIO: “Perhaps they’re being manipulated?”
A: “Possibly” replied the Ambassador moving forward. “But those kinds of circumstances are usually quite exceptional in anyone’s politics.”
CIO: “It seems obvious where things are heading then”
A: “Yes” sighed the Ambassador leaning back again “I’ll probably be writing this up as another Third World uprising. Radical-nationalists attempting to overthrow an inept government in response to crippling economic circumstances”

The CIO although expected to be as knowledgeable about his host nation as the Ambassador (falling second in rank in the Diplomatic Corps) Omp was both a junior officer and been recently dispatched to service one amongst a rapidly expanding number of embassies around the world.

CIO: “Hmm, I’m not sure how much of that I follow”
A: “Well, take a look at their statistics” replied the Ambassador lifting a sheet in front of him and squinting at the details
A: “Their official GDP per capita is half ours and actually more likely about a third... The central government spends a third of their budget on welfare, they spend more on defence than education and have an unemployment rate of 30%.

“All this” he said waving at the window along the side of the room, “is just a façade; it represents the economic pinnacle of the state, the concentration of the entire nation’s economic wealth and of course we’re posted in the ritzy side of town as well.”

CIO: “hmm it doesn’t seem much does it?” reflected Alexander
A: “no, it doesn’t”

The two of them sat in reflection about the current situation neither really listening the updates on troop movements in the background.

Finally, after an intense 10 hours of straight fighting, the city had been cleared. 23,000 rebel bodies had been cleared, while another 3,000 had been captured. Now that the city was clear, it was time to move to Deska, the last city under rebel control.

To: All forces under Loyalist command
From: General Perkins, Commander, Loyalist Forces

All men begin moving to the industrial district to begin preparations for the liberation of Deska. The city will be hard to retake but with it the rebellion will end. The city is now garrisoned by an estimate of 200,000 men including civilians. They have an estimated 250 A-6B Main Battle Tanks, and 2 squadrons of CF-1 Fighters. But, from... past experience, we can't trust this estimate. Prepare for larger numbers. And to our allies, it would be greatly appreciated if you would aid us in crushing these rebels.

They are ready to perform missions of both anti-ground attack and anti-air attack as well. Besides that two Corps of airborne infantry are ready to drop if you are willing to designate a specific set of coordinates. Upon designation we will be able to drop the infantry. General,
I have authorized complete use of military force to defeat the rebels that have killed, wounded, and threatened the lives of my men. I recommend that you do not begin the assault on the final stronghold until the rest of my forces arrive. In addition to the forces that remain there (roughly 80 men), I am sending 300 men to be airdropped over the city when the battle begins, 500 men to move in with your forces (but not under your direct command), and three elite special forces teams to aid in sabotaging enemy lines and eliminating rebel leaders. Also, several bombers of [EYES ONLY] classification will be availible to level entire city blocks, if the need arises. Please keep in mind that these men are for support only, and are NOT main combat troops. If needed, more men may be sent, but do not count on it. May we find victory.

We greatly thank you for sending these troops. As for the Aircraft, if they could be deployed over Deska immediately, that would help. The battle to wipe out there aircraft is now underway. In the Position we are in right now, it would be best if you dropped your airborne men in Williams Park, near the Northern Edge of Town. From there, they could create a contained drop one that will be able to absorb a large amount of enemy men. They Will be aided by the 1st airborne division. They will have to remain in the park for an estimated 1 hour until our main force can arrive. They can then join for the assault on the rest of the city.

As the F35B Lightning IIs flew over the advancing Loyalist forces Major Barna Simko looked out the door of the C-130 Hercules. In moments he threw himself out the door and his static line unhooked. He plummeted through the air while his chute fully deployed and he looked down at the city below him. He then looked up and could see the flash and occasional glow of a jet's engine. Then in moments he felt himself hit the ground and hundreds of others landed around him in the park. Instantaniously he and the two Companies started to form a perimiter while under fire. Major Barna looked out over their sudden, impromptu perimiter made by one company while the other began digging trenches and making defenses. Besides that they set up a command tent where Major Barna went and looked down at a map of the city.

PS: 23,000 killed, this sounds like an atrocity, we'd probably conduct an investigation if we weren't going to bed.

All 23,000 were rebel soldiers who participated in various battles in the city. Many of the dead were men who were given multiple chances to surrender, but kept fighting to the end, or committed suicide rather than surrender. Several were wounded men being aided by our medics who used a grenade to kill both themselves and the medic. These rebels are fanatics. Few can be talked down.

Your 300 Airborne men are needed in Williams Park, there, several thousand other airbourne men are engaged in a distraction operation. Your 500 men could be used to cover the rear so that they won't see to much combat, and your special forces, if possible, could parachute onto city hall and enter through the roof. That is the headquarters of the Rebels. As for your bombers, they will not be needed.

Fifteen large, noisy transport planes flew over the city. In each plane, twenty men, armed to the teeth, wore parachutes. As they moved over the park, they leapt from the rear of the craft, and gently floated down to the ground. That would be the last bit of peace they would get.
------
The planes continued to fly overhead, making their way back to friendly skies. The city hall was not far from them, and the pilots looked out at the building with pity. Suddenly, one of the planes went silent. The other planes ignored the smaller radar signal and lack of radio chatter as the plane went dark. It banked to the side and moved towards the city hall. As it approached, the rear door opened and twelve men leapt into the cold night air. They opened their parachutes as the planes circled away and rejoined the main group.

Alpha One led his team to the far side of the roof of city hall. Behind him, Delta One moved towards the massive satellite dish on the near side. Bringing up the rear, Zulu One led his men onto the neighboring building. As they removed their parachutes and checked their equipment one last time, the cold air brought them to full alert. Their mission: Eliminate or capture the leading men in the rebel faction. Alpha One inhaled deeply and waited for the go ahead signal.

Then a winded young paratrooper came jogging up with a dirty entrenching spade and some stains on his face.

"Sir, the north and eastern trench systems are dug and fully operational and the southern trenches are nearly entirely finished. We've just started the western trenches however." The soldier said with a salute.

Barna pushed the man's hand down.

"Watch that hand soldier, they could have snipers watching." Barna said.

The soldier nodded and jogged off to continue his duty. Barna then looked to the Colonel of the of the 1st Airborne Division. He then looked around at the Gordonopian airborne soldiers running around.

"Captain, when did you join the Airborne?" Major Barna said, looking back down at the map and biting the inside of his lower lip.

He circled the appropriate side of the city and drew an arrow in to the city "...we'll need to hold out until they can cross all those rebel infested blocks..." Barna looked at the Colonel.

In a single, swift movement he grabbed the man's ranking markings and tore them off, pushing them in to the man's chest.

Alpha One registered the go-ahead immediately. "All teams move out." Alpha One, followed by the others in Alpha Team, moved towards the door that led inside. He turned the knob and tossed the door open, gun up as he did so. Clear. He led Alpha Team down the stairs and hit another door. "Delta Zulu, Alpha has hit Oscar One."
-----
"Roger Alpha, Delta out." Delta Team had already clipped ropes to the rooftop and hooked their waists. They kept one hand close to their rifles as they leapt off of the roof and silently moved down the dark side of the building towards an open window.

In the room, a lone rebel sat watching the TV. Delta One nodded to Delta Three, who then quickly hit a switch, frying the satellite dish on the roof. The TV immediately burst into a loud static as Delta Team moved in through the window and gunned him down. They quickly secured the room, being sure to leave the TV on to provide a noise cover, and set up to breach a door leading to the dining hall. "Alpha Zulu, Delta has hit Oscar One."
-----
"Roger Delta, Zulu out." Zulu Team was positioned across the building, sniper rifles trained through the windows. They had watched Delta breach city hall, and had a clear view of the dining hall. "Delta, hold position. Seven tangoes in Oscar Two. Repeat, Seven tangoes in Oscar Two."

Our disagreement was with the rebel's actions (attacking the embassies of Foreign Powers), not with their ideology (communism). "I conqur with this letter." Kada said.

He then looked around and waited to see what the others would say. He himself hoped they would all agree. Despite his former military status he wasn't one for needless blood-shed. He'd much prefer that they only kill when neccesary and talk it out afterwards.

OOC: I think we should conclude togethor.

"So this meeting is Adjourned?"

Glass rose from his seat. "Yes. Perhaps there should be a followup meeting at a later date?" He stretched and pushed the chair in. "Good evening, gentlemen. If we are to continue later, you know how to reach me."

"Good to meet you Ambassador Glass." Kada said with a friendly smile.

He stuck out a hand for a shake from the Aglorean diplomat. With his free hand he smothered his cigar in a nearby ash-try and left it there unlit.

"Well, I guess this concludes the brief but bloody Communist Incursion? Because if it does, than I've got several things I need to get to. Press conferences, meetings with victims, you know what I mean"

"Unless anyone has any other grievences - or invasions to declare this meeting is closed. Mr Ambassador, i'd say it has been a pleasure, but i'm not in the habit of lying."

"Gentlemen" he said before standing up. His staffers rose with him and just before eyeing eveyone again he made to leave the parliament.

ooc: TSS well done on accepting defeat, you've done much better than most newbs but remember to read those stickies!!!

"Well than, goodbye everyone. It's been a pleasure to meet most of you."

OOC: So we're done now?
Aglorea

"The pleasure is all mine, Kada," Glass said, shaking the diplomat's hand. He turned to Mininster Gordon. "Yes, it seems so. The remaining Aglorean soldiers will be returning home soon, so if there is to be a victory parade, it must be very soon." Glass moved to shake Gordon's hand. "Very nice to meet you at last, Mr. Gordon."

EDIT: OOC: Yes, we're done.

"Also, Gordon, if you need I'll gladly send aid workers to help with rebuilding the country." Kada said.

OOC: I have to agree with what I said earlier in OOC and what Aglorea said. Good job accepting the defeat TSS, and read those stickies. Population is the most determining factor in your country.

He then stuck his hand out to shake the Biotopian's hand.

"It was good to speak with you in peace talks." He said in a friendly tone.

"Thank you" he replied. "Just before departing it was recommended that the Commonwealth establish formal relations between our countries. Perhaps one day we'll be meeting again on home soil."

"I hope we can have that arranged one of these days." Kada said with a friendly smirk.

He then nodded to all people in the room and his soldiers walked to his side.

"Gentlemen, I shall be leaving and Gordon; just contact the embassy if you would like restoration workers sent to help you." Kada said with a polite nod.
