In the ’40 Day War’ not everybody wanted the Democratic government that the Ursavian government was turned in to after Odon Pete was pulled from office by military force. Specifically, one of the larger of these groups called themselves, quite simply ‘Monarchists’. They believed in a monarchy involving a royal family and such like a democratic monarchy save for one thing: the king and queen were the only two people with the power. They believed this was the best type of government a country could have and went dormant after the ’40 Day War’ had ended until years later when they decided to emerge.
**Saáry City, Ursava**
“SAY WHAT!?” Major Odon Pete (of no relation to the former dictator) yelled in obvious anger and surprise at the police officer before him.
“What I said sir: a plane carrying passengers from several other countries was hi-jacked and touched down on a runway in the capitol of Saáry approximately half an hour ago. The press jumped on it like dogs and they’re spreading rumors that it might be one of the other old resistance groups from the ’40 Day War’. People are in a panic and we’ve managed to evacuate the airport. However, it’s obvious that the other countries involved will obviously be aware if they simply watch the news.” The police officer explained for the second time to the fuming Major.
“Have we managed to make contact with the group yet?” Major Odon asked, standing up straight once again.
“We are waiting on your arrival before we send a phone engineer to the plane sir.” The officer said.
Major Odon rubbed his eyes tiredly and headed for the nearest door in the room, waving for the Ursavian officer to follow him.
Saáry National Airport
Becse Szigeti smirked as he looked from the passengers within the 767 to the window outside where a cluster of Leopard IIs and CV-90s formed up along with the police units across the large grassy area between two of the runways. Men in military uniforms piled out of the CV-90s and started to strengthen the perimeter. He then looked back to the other members of the small group. This wasn’t even all of the ‘Monarchists’ and some of them weren’t even Ursavians or weren’t around during the ’40 Day War’…or both. He then patted the top of his Steyr in it’s submachine gun variation. Submachine guns were the largest things they could sneak in save for a couple of Tomahawk hatchets were just as big and pistols for each member.
Becse moved to the pilots’ cabin where the pilot, co-pilot, navigator, and radio operator all sat nervously, looking out the windows and back at Becse and the terrorists further back with the passengers. The co-pilot had a heavy sweat and the radio operator was lightly shaking. Then again, it was natural when there were several people armed with guns on a plane where nobody else had any weapons. Becse walked back in to the 1st-class passenger section where he continued to watch the barricade become stronger with the still arriving military personnel.

"We've got a what?" demanded Vamp as he stood in the marbel hallways in the Order HQ.
"We've got a situation down at Ursava about four of our citizens being taken as hostages on an airplane," replied Lee as the radio sent a message out about the situation in Ursava.
"Lee, inform the Ursvaian Government that we'll be dispatching a platoo of 12 Lynion Assassin's to them to be used to take down the terrorists or whatever they're called these days," ordered Vamp.

It has come to my attention that some of our citizens have being taken hostages on an airplane. We haven't taken matters into our own hands yet but we'll be sending 12 Elite Lynion Assassin's to aid you with rescuing the hostages. Unless you can prove to us that they are not required, they should be there within a few hours.

We are aware that you have citizens on the plane but we would ask you to please not perform any drastic plans being as Ursavian citizens are aboard the plane as well.

Live News Report
As you can see behind me the Ursavian police have cordoned off the air around the plane. For those of you just joining us, earlier today several men took control of a 767 here at the Saáry National Airport in Saáry City, Ursava. It is not clear how many hostages are on board or how many nation's citizens are involved. We have been told that a number of Oseaton citizens are currently on board.
Ursavian military and police units have been deploying to the area for some time now. We have told that the hostage takers are suspected of being members of the "Monarchists" who have cropped up from the "40 Day War" during which the current Ursavian government was installed. No demands have been made by the group yet, but it is said that the Ursavians haven't opened negotiations with the terrorists on the plane.
Please stay with us as this situation develops for up to the minute information.

OOC: Nice post Oseato, seems like a realistic news broadcast.
An engineer stripped down to nothing but his underwear to show that he was unarmed and grabbed a portable field phone. He slowly walked from the police and military barricade and towards the plane holding the phone up. While he walked along Major Odon Pete glared through the combat scope of his Steyr A3 at the plane to see if anybody was moving. He then looked to his left and right at the other soldiers and at the Leopard IIs and CV-90s. He went back to watching as one of the doors was opened up and a man instantly just took the phone from the engineer's hands and pointed his gun directly at the man. He shooed the man away, tracking him with the gun the whole time until the engineer got back to the barricade and put his clothes back on.
Then Major Odon moved over to an awaiting field phone and picked it up. He simply pressed one button and heard a voice...an Ursavian voice.
"Hello, who is this?" The voice asked.
"Hello, this is Major Odon Pete of the 2nd Corp, who's this?" Major Odon said, glancing up from the phone at the Oseaton reporter nearby.
"We are the Monarchists."
Major Odon froze, his suspicions having been confirmed.

FROM: The Gordonopian Embassy in Ursavia
It has come to our attention that several of your citizens have been taken hostage at the Saary Airport. After close examination of some of the news footage, we have noticed that one of the terrorists is Manfred White, a Gordonopian Citizen, as well as a wanted killer. Our proposal is to send a force of 10 DSA (Diplomatic Security Agency) Operatives along with one of our GFRA (Gordonopian Foreign Relations Agency) Operatives to the situation. There purpose shall be strictly to negotiate with White and bring him back to our Embassy where he may than be deported back to Gordonopia and be prosecuted under Our laws for the 3 murders he has committed. Our DSA agents are trained in non-lethal as well as lethal combat so that they may help to subdue the terrorists without blood being spilled. Please contact us if we have your permission.
Best of luck,

Be aware that the chances of talking the man down is neigh impossible. If he's a member of the Monarchists now then he has most likely been brain-washed to their cause and he most likely won't leave unless the leader of this group orders him to. We also appriciate that you are willing to send your operatives with non-lethal capabilities as we wish to resolve this in as civilized a way as possible with as little bloodshed as possible on any party's hands.

Even if he cannot be talked down, it is still standard procedure to send a GFRA Operative with any group of DSA operatives leaving an Embassy compound. They occupy a higher ranking position than the DSA operatives and can act as a sort of field commander. GFRA operatives are also trained in non-lethal combat in case they are attacked outside of the Embassy.
Also, with your permission of course, we would like to send the operatives with their SR45 handguns and 2 with LR50 Sniper Rifles in case the situation gets a little, "messy".

Vamperial Guardian Assassin Dracula came to the hologram device as the Vamperial Order appeared before him who were in Lynion. His eyes looked Vamperial Headmaster Lee King came forward as he looked at Dracula.
"Dracula, what's the report on the situation," asked Lee as the sound of rotor blades could be heard in the background.
"We're just about to enter the country sir and we'll be touching down in a few moments. The men are ready and anti-piecing rounds have being issued to our snipers," replied Dracula in a deathly tone.
"Excellent, then the moment you land, inform the Ursavaians that you have arrived but under no orders are you to land at the airport," finished Lee as the transmission ended.
Dracula turned around as he listened to the conversation the pilot was making with Ground Control.
"This is Assassin Flight to Homestead. Requesting permission to land behind the airport over," started the pilot as small plane moved quietly over the country.
"This is Homestead; rodger that Assassin Flight, we've been told all about you and you are cleared to enter Ursavian airspace but do not, I repeat, do not engage the plane without direct consent from Major Odon Pete." The tower replied.
"What are your demands?" Major Odon asked over the phone.
"We want the official resignation of Zigana Saary, and the installation of a full monarchy with our leader as the king." The Monarchist rplied.
"You know someone of my position can't get you anything close to that." Major Odon replied, still standing still while looking down at the phone.
"Well I suggest you find someone who can or everybody on this plane dies by tomorrow morning." The Monarchist replied before hanging up.
"Copy that Homestead, we'll be landing behind the airport and we'll report to the major," replied Dracula as the plane landed behind the airport carefully and quietly.
The Assassin's got off the plane as it quickly took off again. The squad of eight found themselves in a pickle as they quietly went into the terminal determind to find the major. Dracula had an eye patch over his eye but his right eye still posed a threat to his enemies and a protector to his friends and allies. His sniper rifle was in his hands as the others carried mostly AUG-1 assault rifles while another person carried a high powered sniper rifle with anti-personal rounds inside of them.
"You must be one of the officers here right? Can you tell me where a Major Odon could be found?" asked Dracula to an officer.
"You mean Major Pete? This way sir." The soldier said, waving for Dracula to follow.
He led him through the terminal as several soldiers and officers jogged or walked left and right. He led them through a set of double-doors made entirely out of glass and out in to the open air. From there he led the group to Major Odon who was currently looking at the plane with a pair of hi-powered binoculars with his back to the group. The phone was currently hung up and he was simply watching through the open windows to see if the terrorists were doing anything. He sighed and lowered the binoculars before setting them on the nearby table next to the phone.

SUBJECT: Our hostages
It has come to our attention that three of our citizens have been taken hostage by known Ursavian based terrorists. These citizens were returning after advising poorer nations on agricultural practices. It is important to us that they return home unharmed, and thus we ask your permission to send one of our most celebrated negotiators to aid in the negotiations. We of course will also send a military security unit.
We understand that you have no reason to bar our entry.

Any and all aid you are willing to send is and will be greatly appriciated. You are correct in assuming there is no need to deny your aid and you are now officially granted permission to enter Ursavian airspace.
An AN-225 transport plane landed at the airport, far away from the captured airliner. A Lancovian officer, an important-looking civilian and 20 Lancovian soldiers disembarked.
While the troops unloaded the cargo, the officer and the civilian walked up to Major Odon. The officer saluted.
"I am Lieutenant Pasha, Lancovian Army. And this Veronov Hovic, expert negotiator for our Federal Police."
"Good evening Veronov..." He then saluted the lower-ranking officer back before he spoke "...and good evening to you as well Lieutenant." Major Odon said, dropping his salute.
"Okay, here's the situation: this group calls themselves the 'Monarchists'. They believe in a 'true' monarchy for government but they were one of the least influential rebel groups in the '40 Day War' so a democracy was put up instead. They've taken the plane hostage and they've been holding it and the hostages for about an hour now but we have managed to set up a field-phone with them." Major Odon said, thumbing to the phone by the set-up of the plane.

"I remember the 40 day war. The rebel groups often hid within our borders, killing our citizens and pillaging towns. We had to root them out of the mountains with helicopter gunships. We lost many good pilots, and we think there may still be some in hiding. As for the present, what exactly do you want us to do after we set up our base camp?"
------------
At that moment, a stolen Lancovian FROG-7 missile launcher stopped only five miles from the airport. A missile was gassed up and ready for launch, carrying enough power to level the entire airport. The leader of the men who had stolen it sent a text message to the lead monarchist at the airport:
"launcher in place just give us the word"

I have recently recieved word from our embassy in your nation that there is an incident of some kind involving hostages (some from my country) and a plane. Now, my citizens are journalists that were covering the rebellion in Gordonopia, and they proceeded to fly to your nation to gain the story from many sides. I cannot take any serious action short of sending a small team that would be able to help you retake the plane. If you would allow them, 7 men (all special forces) will be dispatched to aid you. They will not act without your permission, so there will be no need to fear that. Hopefully this issue will be resolved shortly.

Live News Report
The situation continues to develop at Saáry National Airport here in Ursava. It has been confirmed that the terrorists on board the 767 are indeed Monarchists. We have been told that their demands include the resignation of the leader of the current government and the installation of the Monarchist leader as king. Some of our counter-terrorist experts have speculated that these may not be the true demands, seeing as the demands are too unrealistic. No rational government would fold to these demands based off of a single act of terrorism.
It appears as if we are here for the long haul, the terrorists wont be talked out of their position. We've seen a few other foreign officials on the ground to help out the Ursavian government. We still have no official word from the Oseaton government at this time, though sources inside the administration stated that "The situation in Ursava is being followed closely." That same source suggested that Oseato may offer their "Black Guard" special response troops to Ursava.
Stay with us as we cover the situation as it develops.
Captain Jonathan Edwards formed up with the major as he viewed the airplane for a moment. It seemed that there's a number of things that can happen. Jonathan listened to the major's briefing before turning back to the others.
"Lucus, help Jaxson get onto the roof top. Jaxson, scan the airport and find their escape routes. Harvey, find the highest point in the airport and be our lookout man. rest of you stay put," ordered Jonathan.

Becse Szigeti smirked at the text message. He then texted back.
'Fire when I give you the command and at no other time, stay to the original plan as much as possible' Was what his message read.
He tucked his cellphone away and then looked back out before moving by the field-phone.
"I have a Master's degree in criminal justice and a Doctorate in criminal psychology, from the University of Farin. I have been a hostage negotiator and criminal profiler for the Lancov Federal Police for twenty years." Hovic said.
OOC: I'll be back on Sunday.
(OOC: Sorry for the relatively major bump, but this thread has too good an idea to just let it die in the middle like this.)
IC:
Jacob Baxter, team leader of the Aglorean counter-terrorism group sent in to Saary to help with the potential breach of the airplane, looked out the side of the transport helicopter, taking note of large number of men surrounding the single plane. This is rediculous! was all he could think. The sheer number of men, in his mind, would only make the hostage takers nervous, and possibly cause them to kill the hostages.
"Pilot!" he called over the radio headset. "Put us down there!" He pointed to a small clear area on the ground that had no men in the way.
"I'll try! But they haven't given us clearence to land, let alone drop down in the middle of the whole bloody situation!" The helo hovered in midair over the area as the pilot waited for the okay to land.
OOC: It's okay.
IC:
"Greetings Algoreans, you're welcomed in to the airspace just touch down and meet with Major Odon Pete of the Ursavian Airborne Command." The voice said over the radio in well-versed Algorean.
OOC: I'm going to bed soon.
Baxter checked the safety on his weapon to insure it was on as the helicopter lowered to the ground. "All right, let's move!" he called to his team as they dropped from the helicopter and hit the ground. The helicopter rose and turned away. Baxter led his men through the crowd of police and news reporters towards what looked like the command post. They stopped as they reached the post, and spoke in his best Ursavian, "I'm looking for Major Odon Pete."
"You're talking to him." Major Odon replied as he looked at the new arrival.
"Christ we have too many people on-scene." He said almost to himself.
Major Odon waved for the Aglorean man to follow him by a layout of the plane on the only desk in the tent.
"Okay, here's the plan." He said to all the commanders.
"We bring a fueltruck out on to the runway but keep the lights off so they can't see it. We'll pour out fuel across the entire runway and then light it. We'll make sure this is all near the other end because then the light will mess with their vision if they look out front due to the contrast. After that, we raid the plane in three teams with the Lynions will provide sniper fire if anybody tries to escape. The Agloreans and the Lancovians will be on the raiding team and the Ursavians will handle any who aren't killed in the raid; understood?" He bolted it all off in a hurry, wanting to get the situation resolved.
It was a risky plan, but Baxter knew his men could handle it. "How are we getting in?" he asked as soon as the Major stopped talking. "We can't just knock the door down and expect their bad vision to protect us."
"We come in by two ways. According to the layout Coach is nearly empty so we could charge one of those doors and besides that..." Major Odon thumbed behind him to the plane and one of the two doors leading in to 1st class was wide open "...they've left the door in to 1st class wide open so they don't damage the field phone's cable. Now our negotiator is going to be a vital part. We'll need him to keep them busy and convince them that the whole ordeal with the fuel truck was an accidental spill. While we're going that, the attack teams; in ghillie suits to hid in the grass between the two runways, will make their way to the Coach and 1st class doors where the will make their entry and move in to the cargo hold." Major Odon said.
He then looked up at the others to see what they would think.
"Any revisions?" He asked, leaning on the table.
"Nope, just a question," Baxter stated plainly. "When are we going in?"
"What is to keep them from killing the hostages?" Lieutenant Pasha spoke up.
At that moment, One of Pasha's aides entered the tent, and whispered something into The lieutenant's ear. Pasha quite obviously did not like what he heard, but said nothing.
"Well, if I were them," Baxter began to answer Pasha's question. "I wouldn't kill them because they'd be my only chance to make it out alive. You see, we fear that innocent people will die, so they have leverage. I only hope they have the sanity to realize this. Otherwise things get alot more complicated."
"They won't..." Major Odon said, looking up at everybody "...because they're too smart. They know that the second they do they'll lose their shield and we won't have any qualms about gunning them down when they stand." Odon said "The signal will be a flashbang thrown up in front of the cockpit window, once the Ursavian thrower says 'out' look away and once it's gone off get in." Odon added.
He looked back at the plane.
"That's good enough for me." Pasha spoke. "My team will be ready. Just give us the word."
"Alright, if there are no more arguments: everybody get geared up to go." Major Odon said, lookign up at the group.
Baxter turned around towards his team. "Alright! Get ready, we're going in soon!" His men let out a slight groan as they had only just gotten a place to sit and relax, but were quickly on their feet, checking weapons and supplies.
"Alright, lets get this done with," smiled David as he and two other members of the Assassin's went with the group. They checked their ammo, clips and helmets as they waited for the signal to go in.
Baxter slowly and deliberately ate a small sandwich as his team sat in postition, resting as best they could. It was soon gone, the crumbs on his chest. He brushed them off, and checked his weapon one last time.
The fuel truck slowly moved in to position, out of view of the pilots in the darkness and fuel trailing across the tarmac of the runway. Once it had teached the end of the trail the tank was closed and they proceeded to drive away safely. Then a match was lit and a large line of fire covered the end of the runway. While this happened, two Ursavians in dark brown and dark green clothing along with ski-masks crouched along to the nose of the plane in silence and darkness.
Baxter flicked his middle and index fingers forwards three times, the move signal. The team slowly moved toward the open door of the plane, careful to make no noise. They hit a point about five feet from the door and paused, waiting for an update from the other teams.
The Lancovian commando team moved towards their door, relying on their night vision goggles to see properly. Moving into breach position, the team leader spoke quietly into his headset.
"Team Echo in position."
"Copy that, await the signal, Echo." Pasha replied, sitting in the command center.
The moment the pin was pullled it was lobbed up towards the cockpit window.
"UP!" The Ursavian yelled in to the radio.
Then the flashbang went off and the terrorists inside, including Becse; were horribly blinded. This point was proven as one of the 'Monarchists' accidentally fired a burst from his Steyr that buried in to the interior walls of the plane save for one which came out through a window. Becse rubbed at his eyes as the effect of the flashbang slowly began to wear off with the ringing still stuck in his ears.
The Aglorean team charged through the doorway, suprisingly quietly, and used the advantage of the suprise flashbang to gun down the first target. They took positions behind any cover and waited for the others to move up.
The Lancovian team breached the door and rushed down the hallway. Their silenced SMGs took out any Monarchists in their way.
