Ursavian Arms Company (UAC)

The Ursavian Arms Company is the newest Ursavian weapons company that was developed after the ’40 Day War’ and it has remained a staple-point within the country ever since. Due to a recent boom in military funding however, we’ve now been starting to dip our feet in new technology: specifically combat. So now that we’re producing these items in excess we’ve decided that instead of waste money we’ll make these items publicly available to any and all people willing to pay enough money to the Ursavian government.

First off in our line of technology that we’re making available is:

the A-1 ‘Spear’ Howitzer

Shells: Impact shells, air-burst rounds, smoke rounds, phosphorous rounds, “crop-circle” rounds.

Crew: Can operate on a minimum of four people: two lifting the shell, one putting in the charge, and the fourth firing the thing.

Maximum Effective Range: 17000 yards.

Muzzle Velocity: 2000 feet per second.

Traverse Ability (when in fixed position): 30 degrees to the left or right.

Elevation: -1 to 70 degrees.

Carriage: Split trail.

Recoil: Hydro-pneumatic system.

Breech: Slow-cone interrupted screw.

Caliber: 165MM.

Shell Loading: Separate-loading bagged charge.

Height: 7 feet (when pointing straight ahead).

Width: 9 feet.

Overall Barrel Length: 25 calibers.

Bore Length: 24 calibers.

Length (in traveling position): 25 feet.

Weight: 5700KG.

Price Tag: Name a price and we’ll discuss from there.

”Crop-Circle” 165MM Artillery Shells

The “crop-circle” round is a first for the Ursavian Arms Company. Regular artillery rounds send shrapnel in a large, uncontrolled cloud, phosphorous rounds make everything within a certain cloud lethally hot, air-burst rounds rain down shrapnel on your enemy’s head, and smoke rounds just make everything hard to see! So we made regular artillery rounds better against your enemy. The “crop-circle” hits the ground and used a custom system consisting of various metal panels within the shell to send out a large circle of shrapnel which starts at ankle-level and ends just below the average man’s waist in a thirteen-yard radius circle. It’ll sweep your enemy off their feet…and take ‘em off at the knees in the blast. Fear not however, as you won’t need to deal with the pained wails of horribly injured soldiers which would surely get every Human’s Right group in existence on you. Upon detonation a cloud of phosphorous is released in to the air, instantly igniting and killing anybody who was foolish enough to be in a trench where this puppy landed!

Keep in mind, we're just now touching the global market and will make sure to produce more for you all later.

OOC: May I recommend the NS Draftroom (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php)? You can join hundreds of other snobby designers in making useless crap that you'll never use! To be serious though, the NS Draftroom is a great place to have your designs critiqued and rated.

Gee, thanks for the first part of that comment.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion. Also, I do think that a Modern-Tech or Early Post-Modern Tech army might want to use it. Not neccesarily the shell but the gun that can fire it. The shell is sort of a side-item that you can buy as well.

Besides that I've seen a few "Storefronts" in this section.

We would like to purchase the A-1 ‘Spear’ Howitzer. Would you like to sell with plan 1 or 2?

OOC: Sorry, but a good bunch of the designers in the Draftroom are self-important pricks. Your designs are fairly good by most standards.

OOC: I understand why you said that Volzgrad, you don't need to explain yourself. I just thought "well artillery can help make or break an offencive and Howitzers are always nice so..." then I figured "If I'm making an entire gun why not add a shell to it?"

We would prefer plan one as we think (and hope) that you will find a great and long use in our A-1 'Spear' Howitzer. As per the statement in the contract, we shall gladly throw in the "crop-circle" rounds for free given your stated need for good artillery.

I think that 800,000 USD per gun would be acceptable.

So now that we’re producing these items in excess we’ve decided that instead of waste money we’ll make these items publicly available to any and all people willing to pay enough money to the Ursavian government.

We’ve come out with new equipment for the countries of the world that we ourselves have integrated:

TK-1 ‘Big-Boy’ Tank Killer

The TL-1 ‘Big-Boy’ Tank Killer is just what it’s name entitles: a tank killer. It is a balance between the portable anti-tank systems that soldiers can carry and the stationary platforms that you commonly find mounted in a base. This one’s great because it’s armored, mobile, and powerful. It’s three great things all put together in one to make infantrymen safer and bases more secure. It won’t replace the soldier’s anti-tank system or stationary positions for good however, because it is like a tank in that it has a supply need and thus needs support.

Crew: 3. 1 Commander, 1 Loader and 1 Gunner/Driver.

Armaments:
1x 135, rifled cannon.
1x Coaxial M240 machinegun.
1x Top-mounted M2 Browning .50 caliber machinegun.

Armor: 3rd Generation composite: including high-hardness steel, tungsten and plastic filler with ceramic components.

Length (with gun forward): 9.90M.

Width: 3.80M.

Height: 4.0M.

Weight: 63 tons.

Speed: 72KM/H.

Engine: MTU MB 873 Ka-501 12-cylinder diesel engine. 1103 kW.

Range: 550KM.

Transmission: Renk HSWL 354.

Suspension: Torsion-bar.

Produced: 2007-Present.

Designer: Ursavian Arms Company.

The TK-1 was designed and built off the modified chassis, engine, and transmission of the German Leopard II main battle tank. It’s designed to support an infantry squad in clearing a section of town or guard the rear of a convoy from ambush while the actual tanks guard the front of the convoy. These vehicles aren’t tanks per say but they’re just as tough as one of them. Like tanks they need supply lines and lots of gas to run but if they have what they need these ‘Big-Boys’ can be a devastating force. Whether on the defensive or going on assault they’re a nice commodity to have you in the battlefield.

Price Tag: 900,000 USD per TK-1.

Our protectorate, Kurzhivsko Chornorus, officially formed after Kurzhivsk's failed invasion and the Solyhniyan takeover and People's Revolution of Kurzhivsk and Chornorus, requires a large number of small arms and battle machines. The nation is still armed with the poor AK-47s and T-62s of Stalinist Kurzhivsk. This is unacceptable, as the new nation will undoubtedly need to defend itself, especially with the imminent terrorist threats surrounding our nation and theirs.

However, we are ultimately reluctant to arm this unstable nation with Prospekt rifles, LU-89 Kobra tanks or anything else of the Solyhniyan , as Solyhniya wishes to keep its military advancement to itself.

We request that you make contact with the Solyhniyan Ministry of Defence when you have new small arms and vehicles available. We may also be interested in purchasing howitzers, but it we cannot yet confirm this.

We will not reveal our level of expenditure available until you would communicate with me or Defence Minister Denys Volkiv.

We shall gladly inform you when we have developed firearms that would be appropriate for arming your Protectorate. We have already been working on it but when it is developed you shall be the first informed of any new advancements in small-arms technology. We shall also be willing to sell A-1 'Spear' Howitzers to you if you wish.
