Due to the nation's relative decline in economic growth, from 8% to a mere 2% in the past year, it has been deemed necessary by the President and the Board to obtain an overseas market free of foriegn competition. To achieve this end, an expeditionary force has been approved, consisting of the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force SOC (sponsored by Venture Group, LLC), supported by the 2nd Fleet, including the carriers Powerthirst and GECKO Insurance.
The Island of Hispaniola has been selected as the target for acquistion. The force's diplomatic cover is Peacekeeping, and other nations may be alllowed bit parts to preserve this cover. However, the Board does not feel that this venture would be worthwhile unless Powerthirst and associated companies hold 60+% interest.
The fleet has been prepped and will tentatively sail in one day.
