The Socialist Empire of Koharia

Map (http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e120/koharia/Koharia.jpg)

The socialist Empire is a nation in the Atlantic known for its complusory military service. It was founded in 1965, at the height of the Cold War by Italian citizenswanting increased defence for thier country of the impending doom of nuclear attack. Even now steel walled bunkers and tunnels still catacomb through this island nation.

OOC: Your marine force is awfully big. It's around the size of my army and I RP as more than 30 times your size. Generally, the maximum number of troops you can have (without being totally wankish) is around 2% but some (less disciplined) players go as high as 10% while others enlist less than 1%.

Also, it's generally frowned upon in the more proficient RPing communities here to buy from DMG (no offense to the old duffer). There are lots of great storefronts selling high-quality NS-specific gear. It's also worth noting that it's acceptable for any nation to claim they have RL equipment (as long as it's in realistic amounts. For instance, a nation with 10 million people claiming to have 20 aircraft carriers would be ignored. Also, I'm not sure what your plans are, but the general rule is to hold off on nuclear programs until you have a population of 100 million).

If you have any more questions, I'm happy to help since you seem to be a lot more workable than some of the newbies that come though here. Seems like all you need is a little II-specific orientation.

OOC: Umm...could you please write like you did for your factbook so I can actually understand you? You know, with capital letters and all.

I've never seen anyone have a problem with smaller nations have nuclear-powered vessels, so absolutely no reason not to keep those.

And I didn't mean II as in the Roman numeral for two. II stands for International Incidents (this forum).

(OOC: Ok. I will write like I did in the Forum.

Ok thats great since I already bought them.

Oh well that is a bad mix-up I'm sorry for that. So I got the basic jist of this, but what do you think I need to learn?)

OOC: The most important thing is that you read the stickies (they're at the top of every forum page), especially if you don't have much/any past RPing experience.

Usually, a good first step for a new player is starting an embassy program.

(OOC: Ok I have gotten through a lot of that. I actually learned how to write a factbook from the stickies.

Now how do you start an embassy program?)

OOC: Here's my embassy program: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=13666068

It's more comprehensive than many and you really don't have to go into as much detail as I did. If you just look through II, you'll see some embassy threads and those will give you an idea of how to set it up.

(OOC: Thank you very much for the tips. They are a life saver. As soon as I get an Embassy Program up i will immediatelly telegram you with the details.

If you want to have an Embassy on our soil feel fre to ask)

One thing, you may want to correct the smiley face in your post.

Another thing, your urban areas are extremely large in comparison to your rural areas. If it was able to withstand WWII alone, then its rural population should be mighty large. 5 million farmers and 1 million urbanites seems reasonable.

My embassy programme is just as advanced as yours, Zinaire! ><

(OOC: I didnt put the smiley face there. It appeared there.

Yea I was thinking about that but I think 1 million urbanites is too small.)
