On Lynscert

The 4th Assassin Squad was coming under heavy fire from the opposite side of the island as a squad of enemy troops were moving up. The shouting from the enemy forces gave the Assassin's a chance to think of the situation. The captain gave simple hand signals as the sniper went through into the dense forest. His eyes darted around as two squad members laid down surpressing fire against the enemy.

"Hell! Fall back!" shouted a soldier before being shot in the head by the sniper.

The captain gave the orders with simple hand signals as the squad split up and flanked the enemy forces. He went with another squad member as they made their way up through the forest and towards the mountain.

"This is Alpha Ten-Six-Zero calling for air strike at corridenets 379.94.23," said the captain into the intercom. "Fire for effect!"

The captain waved his hands as the MG-67's fired on his position. He took a bullet to the shoulder as it knocked him to the ground. The lieutenant pulled the captain aside as a squadron of Dingo Fighter jets soared overhead and did a two pass by air strike. It took out the enemy forces easily and the squad made their way up the hill. The squad of six easily took out the remaining enemy forces as they took the flag down. They threw it aside as the sniper handed the flag of the Assassin Corps and it flew over head.

"This is Alpha Ten-Six-Zero calling base. Mission accomplished score please," said the captain into the intercom as the bodies vanished into thin air.

"The Holographic Troops made two wounds. One into the captain and one into the sniper. These guys were only SAS (Saddict assault Soldiers on Veteran Difficulty) troops but they put up a hell of a fight for a squad of 15 against a squad of 6," replied a voice.

"I asked for the score," repeated the captain.

"Two injuries to 7 deaths and 8 to an air strike. Score of 4598," replied the voice.

"Damn," replied the captain.

"Well, if things aren't going to get worse, you'll be training some new squads. We already got a response from Imperial Australia about helping training their boys. Think your up to it?" asked the voice.

"Up to it? I'm an Assassin for crying out loud!" snapped back the captain. "As long they are not a bunch of nerds, then I can do something with them,"

The squad returned to based as the holographic bullets in the clips, chamber and in the captain body armour vanished.

"We'll be sending the telegram soon so best get some R&R," replied the voice.

TO: World Military Forces
FROM: Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion, Vamperial Grand headmaster Lee King

I'm sending this telegram out to the world because we want to help new nations, current nations and nations that want to compete in competetion to come to Lynion to test out their skills. Each nation can send a detachment of a 100 personal at once. This includes pilots and army personal. Navy units can't be used at this moment.

In this telegram there are a list of things you are required to bring. Don't worry about accomadation, that'll be prepared on Lynscert Island where the training will be taken place. Each squad will be in a situation thrown at them. It can be anything from repelling an invasion force, to assaulting a key target to escorting a key VIP on the field of battle. Each detachment will be facing numerous types of units in their faces. They can face holographic soldiers, to choppers, to ground tanks. Pilots will be able to take part in aerial dog fights in the skies against holographic planes. Levels vary from recuirt, to regular, veteran, commandoes, to Living Hell. Vehicles will be produced from hangers around Lynscert and it'll be up to the teams to use them to their advantage. If teams find themselves up to the challenge, they can face each other.

Bullets aren't going to be real. Each soldier will have their clips taken from them, empty and re-filled with holographic bullets. There will be a weight at the bottom of the clip to make it feel real. This is the perfect way to train soldiers into battle. We give them clips that feel real, looks real but the bullets are fake. Each soldier will be required to use a shirt that covers their whole body. This is used for the holographic bullets to piece into and make the player feel like he/she has taken a real hit. No blood will be seen just a simple mark. After so many shots that the shirt can take, the clips automatically shuts down and jam's the chamber. The soldier will be required to return to base or sit out in a nearby bunker which is called the 'Wound' Bunker.

If anyone cheats, the team is automatcially canceled and the holographic bullets will be terminated. The team will be required to leave the field ASAP. if they refuse, a number of Lynion Assassin's will come onto the field with orders to take your team away.

Bombs, artillery pieces and tanks will be provided at Lynion. Aircraft's and weapons can be bought to Lynion as well. All you need is a max of 100 keen soldiers and/or pilots willing to take part in the operation. We only require a small fee of $30,000 to house each team, feed and support them while they are here.

There is also night and day games as well.

NOTE: Because of this in training foreign troops, Lynion Forces will not be thrown into war's around the globe unless it means life or death for the interests in Lynion relations.

Any questions, please reply back to me and I hope I can sort you out.

OOC: this is an RP thread that is designed to help newbie's get experience in battles and hopefully develop their skills as an RPer. Any questions please ask my and the levels will be explained when the teams comes togther. And NO nuclear weapons are allowed which is obivous if you think about it.

Ofcourse i want to take place here.
30.000 will be transported to you.
I want 100 troops to train, to become good and powerful.
I (if i can) want them to train with the 9mm gun and the mp5.
Is that possible?

You can't send 30,000 at once. We'll allow 100 at the most of any nation because, we also need to provide the housing, the hospitality of the troops. If you wish, you can send 200 troops to Union where they'll be sent to Lynion one week prior to the war games. You can send your own weapons if you wish. And remember, this is also opened to pilots as well.

We can only accept 10 at a time, so if there's any other units coming over the 10 mark, please direct them to Union for the time being," said Lee into the intercom.

"This is Ring of Hell. Copy that Lynscert and have fun with them," replied a friendly voice.

Lynscert was alive as barracks were being built, civilians were being re-located to one of the other islands (even though there was only a handful around), a handful of pubs in the town were being rebuilt, the port town was turned into a military centre which should've happened last year and the major airfield on Lynscert was building additional hangers just in case any pilots wanted to try out in the simulator's.

We also would like to tell you in this letter that we would gladly participate as OpFor. We are willing to do this because as you know, computers of any kind can become predictable. Thus we are willing to operate against countries training in your system to provide a more real, less predictable force than the holograms you produce. We thank you for your offer and we will allow your men to come. Armoured combat will be provided but for that we'll be using real tanks. The tanks will be firing a round similiar to a paint ball round and the splatter should take out the driver's view. We recommend that all your people be sent to Lynscert island. We perfer if you send your own aircraft as our aren't allowed to be flown by foreigners.

TO: Ursava
FROM: Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion, Vamperial Grand Headmaster Lee King

We don't any offense but we wish to state none are operated entirly from operator's. I'll admit that the first level and second level can be predictable but that was how the program was designed. However levels between Veteran (Normal) and Nightmare (Expert for Elite Spec Ops), the holograms are given tactic manouver's, strategy, outline of the battlefield, tricks of the battle and use the brain power of strategiest in the making.

I would like to point out that it isn't all holograms. If the players are ready and there's enough people, they can verus other terms. The battlefield can support four teams of 20 at a time making it challenging for more teams to use their brains. If you want to test them out we can allow you to do so without a fee.

Lynscert Island

The Canedian Army personel came onto the ground as they looked around. Lee was at Lynx Island at the time but Field Marshall Mavis had turned up to greet the players.

"Must be Canedian army we were expecting? Sorry but Lee couldn't come because of a few things happening on Lynx Island. Before I go, I need to take all live rounds off your hands as well as clips and generades you might be carrying," explained Mavis. "My name is Field Marshall Mavis by the way,"

During his conversation five Lynion Assassin's came over and two Hunter's carrying cretes to be used to remove the live rounds before the operation started.

Greetings Headmaster King. Due to the recent flood of recruits to The Agency, we would like to displace some of them to an out-of-nation training facility. We know it would be a stretch, but would 150 Agents be possible? 45.000$ would be wire transferred immediately upon approval, the extra fifteen thousand as compensation for extra soldiers.

Please reply ASAP

Excellent. The 45.000$ has been transferred to the account earlier provided. The troops are en route via transport helo. They should arrive within the day. They are pre-equipped with Agency standard firearms, as per different MOA. These are as follows

All Agents Browning Hi-Power Mk III sidearm

75 Agents Steyr AUG w/ 3x scope

25 Agents T93 Sniper Rifle

25 Agents High Standard Model 10 Semi-Auto Shotgun

25 Agents M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)

Thank you

"Can you believe they're making us do this?" 21-year old Jeremy Taylor said to the fledgeling Agent next to him.

"Yeah. This is supposed to be one of the best training facilities in the whole world dude."

"Still. I think they're just being lazy."

"Oh you know you just can't do it." said the Agent with a toothy grin.

"I'll show you. I'll pass with flying colors!" With that, Jeremy turned on his heel and took another seat in the already-crowded helicopter.

----------------------------------------------------

A few hours later, the helicopter began descending into the Lynscert Island hangar. Everyone was eager to get some sleep. Except the Agents who'd decided to take a nap on the helo ride over. Everyone wearily picked up their packs, filled with their weapons, and uniforms, and proceeded to hop out of the helicopter's open doors.

TO: Ursavian Ministrey of War
FROM: Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion, Captain Lucus, Technicion

I've being asked to write this telegram because I designed the program. Now, what we used was a Tactic Program which we installed into the system. From there, our taction's thought of every single possible strategy and came up with a few new ones and we programed it into the system. On easy and normal, its fairly straight forward as the players will be taking on militia and they know the basic tactic's like flanking and assaulting. However, what we program it to do on the harder levels such as Veteran, Hard, Expert, Hell and Nightmare levels, we program the computer to use mutliply tactic's when possible. Son they might try a flanking move, distraction and pincer manovour all in a timeline for 5 minutes at the leasts. However, they only programed to use a max of four tactic's at a time or less.

Each tactic is looked over twice to make it realistic as possible. These tactic's include, taking out tanks with infantry, house to house clearing, taking bunkers, taking the hill and others which people can be used. However, we have being having reports that on Nightmare levels, the computer can actually outsmart the players but if you hear this, it isn't possible. Its remarkable if it can work but not many people are keen to play on Nightmare Level.

Would it be easier if you send someone down to have a look at Lynscert Island system?

Lynscert Island

"I meant, we need all clips and magazines so we load them with holographic bullets. We also need to take any live rounds, bombs and clips off you because this isn't a live round exercise," stated the officer.

At the hanger

"Welcome to Lynscert Island," started a Lynion. "My name is Lynion Assassin Captain Amos Beret and I'll be your guide to the barracks. Before we go, I need to take your magazine's and any live rounds, bombs or genrade you may have on you. We need to the mag's for the holographic bullets to be used and...no live rounds are permitted on the course. The exercises start tonight so if you want some sleep you can get some,"

The pilot, James McKgewen stepped forward.

"Hello Captain. Thank you and all the staff in the facility once more, on behalf of The Agency, and the Free Land of Resqwandi. Our men have their weapons in the bags on their shoulders," He motioned to the swooning soldiers behind him. "If you'd like their ammunition. I think, from the looks of them, they'd love to take you up on that sleep offer."

"Isn't that right, boys?"

"Yes, Sir!" came the half shouted-half mumbled response.

"Now, when you come out of this, I'll be calling you men, not boys." With a warm smile, he turned back to the Captain. "Lead the way, sir."
Lynion
11-08-2008, 12:17
"Actually that depends on which level you train on. Some have a few nightmares from the Nightmare Level and they learn some new tactic's but we suggest you do Vetern or Normal level to get a feel of what the holograms are capable of," replied Amos as he lead them down the runway towards the barracks which were in the port town below them. "For security reasons their isn't a civilian around so you'll be seening alot of Lynion Military Personel doing their rounds,"

Amos took the clips and picked up a bag and stuffed them into it as they boarded a truck and started for the town below them. He looked out one of the mag's and took out one of the bullets before putting it back into the mag.

They stopped out the front as Amos got out first and looked at a sentry droid doing guard duty.

"Report 7-4-6," said Amos as the droid took its two machine guns on its arms and folded them backwards.

"Barracks ready for the Spec Ops," replied 746. "Aerial Admiral Lee was asking for you and said to report to the office for instructions,"

"Alright 7-4-6," replied Amos. "You don't look tired do you?" asked Amos as he face the leader.

These boys are ready for whatever you guys can dish out, and they're going to come out better men. So, can they get settled in? As you noticed, they're already falling asleep. And could I get a lift back to the hangar?"

With that, he turned back to the rows of Agents.

"Atten-HUT!" They all snapped to attention.

"You boys will do whatever the people say here, and you will not give up, you will not quit, you will beat this course, and above all, you will represent your country like it should be represented. Do you hear me!?"

"Sir, yes sir!" Came the response, perfectly in unison.

"Yes sir," replied the corporal as he waited for the captain to climb in while he opened the door.

"Good luck and I'll see you in four weeks time," smiled Amos to the captain before turning back to the agents. "Now! Go get some shut eye. Midnight tonight, you'll have your first exercise and believe me, sleep is a matter of life or death!"

746 stood to attention with its claws facing outwards as it opened the door for the agents.

"Don't worry, 746 will stand guard while they sleep," Amos said to the captain.

After seeing the agents fall asleep, Amos left the barracks and went down to the office to see Lee. His thoughts wonder about as he wondered what Lee was about to talk to him. His eyes darted about as he watched a squad of Fungi Minator's take to the exercise field. It wasn't rare seeing the Fungi around Lynion since they became a state of the kingdom. He wasn't sure what they were like but they were some of the best fighter's he's seen in the Pacific Region.

"Ahh Amos," smiled Lee as he looked at the program. "I've had a look at what the agents have as weapons and their clips have being loaded with holographic bullets,"

"I've seen them as well sir," replied Amos. "They're asleep at the moment as I know Veteran level is pushing their minds and bodies to the limit,"

"Hmm," thought Lee to himself as he watched the minator's take to the field. "They'll have two snipers to use. Their mission will be to remove enemy forces from a school building. The terrorists will have 200 teenagers hostage and they'll be under the...Special Air Forces class. Have them wake up at midnight, give them a quick briefing, the mag's and I want you to be their guide. Don't interract with them or help them in anyway. I want to see what they can do before we give them a program," finished Lee.

"Of course sir," replied Amos. "What about droids?"

"Four droids will be given to them and what they do with them is up to them," replied Lee. "Let them sleep until midnight then go wake them up,"

Midnight, Barracks R45

Amos opened the door with a bang as he turned on the lights suddenly.

"Wake up Ops!" shouted Amos as he used his rifle to hit the agents to wake them up. "We've got a problem on our hands and I hope you have night vision goggles with ya, because it'll help you with this exercise!"

Droid 746 came into the barracks and ordered the agents to get up as the lights shone down like a pwerful beam of light.

Lynion Airspace

The Hind-D slowly moved towards Lynx island at a steady pace as to not provide discomfort to the portly man inside along with the four Ursavian Special Forces in white berets. Gara Salamon looked at his four recently aquired escorts with secret envy. They had such stature, such lean build, such an attitude. Their faces alone seemed to say without words: "Don't mess with me or I'll kill you with a napkin." He was also sort of scared of them at the same time because of it. Two of them were on the door-mounted RPKs, monitoring the air around them as was standard procedure.

The Hind-D slowly came lower, now above the island and Gara Salamon, renowned Ursavian scientist and possible one of the best ones the country had, hence his guard of Special Forces instead of normal soldiers; listened in on the pilot as he spoke.

"Attention tower, this is U-12 T, requesting permission to land, over." The pilot said, holding his mike the whole time.
