Agonising! Ripping! Tearing! Brutal, gut reaching, pure uncontrollable fury. It burned through Dr Maki like hot water through his veins. Dr Maki was tied down in a white padded room with a thick window two other doctors watched Dr Maki. Maki had long deep black crusting wounds all over his arms and legs, the other doctors suspected they were self inflicted. Dr Maki suddenly and violently restarted his thrashing. The two doctors behind the window started writing on notepads. Dr Maki eyes started to bleed so did his nose and ears black thick blood started spilling all over the white room. Dr Maki couldn’t see his eyes were completely covered in his black corrupted blood.
He could feel a scream coming on, as he began to scream something came first. A sudden wave of bloody flued erupted from his mouth. Because he was lying at a angle his entire, torn, white coat was covered in his own black blood. The two doctors were really interested now frantically writing notes over what they saw.
“that’s the second attack in 3 hours, his condition is worsening” one said in a very knowledgeable voice
“hmmm it’s a shame really, such a grate doctor… taken by such a brutal virus” the other one replied in a typically bland voice as if nothing was happening.
He continued “Ill go tell the boss.”
The other doctor nodded and continued to watch. Dr Maki thrashing had stoped and he began to breathe heavily.
“Water.” He said very faintly
That got the other doctor by surprise. The infected had never spoken before. He leaned in closer to the glass
“water.” Dr Maki was starting to cry “So thirsty… no …”
The other doctor ran over to the other side of his room picked up a gas mask and rubber gloves, he thumbled them on and ran to the door to the blackened room. He grabbed his keas on one of those role out strings attached to his belt, to get into the room.
He entered the room
Dr Maki jolted his head to face the new doctor “Docter, I need water,”
“just hold on, first do you know me”
“what are you talking about, your Dr Hykoga, whats going on.”
Before he was infected Dr Maki was the leader in the field of Rage virus research, he came to this abandoned planet 2 years ago as a part or a Human Union research expedition, after the 300 colonists apparently started ripping through local animals and eating there flesh raw along with various other acts with various body parts sometimes including there own that they apparently ripped of.
“Oh my god!...” Dr Maki looked suddenly incredibly worried “Get away!, Kill me!... the virus is tricking you… it’s intelligent!”
Dr Hykoga steped back. As Dr Maki started thrashing again. He managed to get his arm free. Dr Hykoga started to run towards to door, but he slipped on a pool of black blood, Dr Maki freed both his legs. Dr Hykoga tried to get up but he slipped again. Dr Maki ripped his other arm free leaving the torn hand being held in place by the metal brace.
Dr Hykoga ha little time to scream as Dr Maki ripped of the skin on his back with his fingernails, but what was screamed was in pure terror and pain.
Dr Maki felt pure satisfaction , as he ripped him to shreds, it made him feel good, it mad him feel sick to his very core. He ran out the room leaving a trail of black blood spiling from his torn stump.
His rage was burning as he ran. Sirens starting blaring, he could barely hear them over the sound of his twisted heartbeat a voice spoke over the sirens “Warning! A infected has escaped a full lock down is place all personnel stay on your current location all door are being locked. This is not a drill.” The thick door that lead to the control room was closing. He ran faster. His just made it, well it’s all a matter of perspective the door actually crushed his foot as it closed. Dr Maki didn’t notice as he ripped that off to to get to the two uniformed military officers. One of witch managed to get off a distress beckon before being engulfed in Dr Maki’s fury and rage.
“This is colony Zeo Delta … It escaped hel-----”
The transition was shut of by Dr Maki who was now opening all the doors in the base with the control panel.
The two soldiers stood up. One of them had only half his face and the other had no scalp, the both switched the rifles to there plasma setting and fired at the now energy enforced metal door locking them in.
