Okay here is my plan. If you are a Christian you know about the times yet to come, The Great Tribulation. Now this thread may not cover your position on the Rapture of the Tribulation, but I want to do an RP covering the time from the day after the Rapture 'till the end of Jesus' Thousand Year Kingdom. With that information alone you know that it will take commitment and a lot of time to finish this thread. Here is what I have in mind as far as a storyline:

You may play your own nation as it would be in the time of the Tribulation. If you are not a Christian and are interested in RPing in this thread you may however you need to consider somethings first.

1) There are two sides. Christian Believers and the followers of the Antichrist. You will have to pick which side you are on. If you start out on Antichrist's side and wish to switch later in the RP you may unless your nation's leader has taken the Mark of the Beast in which case, at least as far as this RP goes, you cannot.

2) Since we are going by Bible facts, the Believers will win. The whole point of this thread is to see how the people of NationStates would run a nation if they were a ruler at this period of time.

3) And most importantly, Christian or Not, if you do not agree with the Bible views that we are Rping in, you may not post rude comments or ruin the RP in anyway. I will not tolerate flaming and trolling or spam on the RP thread. Any rude comments and the such may be made in the General section of the NationStates forum.

Here is the time line that I have envisioned based on what I believe:

1st) The Rapture (this will be mentioned only, not RPed.)

2nd) Antichrist takes over Ten Regions.

3rd) Scroll Judgments

4th) Trumpet Judgments 1-6th

5th) The Witnessing and Assassination of the Two Witnesses in Jerusalem, and Antichrist is assassinated and risen back to life

6th) Last Trumpet Judgment

7th) Destruction of New Babylon

8th) The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

9th) The Sheep and Goat Judgment

10th) The 1000 year Kingdom

11th) The Great White Throne Judgment and the End of the RP

Now I am a big fan of the Left Behind Series. So some of the stuff I RP will be similar to the story line of Left Behind. Again, if you don't believe in the time line above, this is an RP, so you may still co-operate but if it bugs you to no end then don't sign up.

One last thing I forgot to mention. If you RP something Biblical then put the exact verse in quotes like you would when you quote another player. That way everyone can check their Bibles to keep you honest.

Another thing. You need to fill out this form. You may continue to enter until after the RP thread reaches the 3rd part of the time line.

I'll try to keep it close to the Revelation according to what I remember. It and Genesis were the only books of the Bible I did read more than once.

To explain "Believer-leaning": The Empire is not officially Christian. Nor is it a Majority Christian macronation. Christians make up 42% of the population, and Coscivian Theists (Monotheists who have a semi-Christian life philosophy, to the point where some Kiravians see themselves as Coscivian Christians) make up 35%. So, not all Kiravians will be the first to sign up for the Believer side, but there will be enough to create conflict. Also, only 25% of Kiravian Christians belong to churches professing the Rapture, so most will be caught unawares.

So, this sets the scene for conflict within the Empire.

You are correct. This will not affect you're normal RP's. This is "just a what if" situation.

It's a good idea, no really, a good idea because you've planned it really well. But as a very devout Catholic and being very fond of my nation (which has a lot on my plate) I probably won't get into this RP. Mainly because of the amount of stuff I've got to do but also because I don't like looking ahead to the Second coming because our view is almost certainly going to be different to God's own vision.

But rest assured I will be following this RP closely and will give it a good reveiw to those who enquire about it. In short I'm saying you've got a great idea here and I hope it gets off the ground.
