A couple of hundre people were standing outside a 20 story high glass office building in central Olsen City.
There was a large emblem above the front entrance of a broken block with a snake carved in it and had the worlds Marble Developments Corporation engraved in it as well
Mayor Jonathan was cutting the red ribbon standing next to Robert Spears, Marble Corp founder who was a tall balding man and quite built in a flash black suit
The Mayor said a few words then cut the ribbon. after that Robert gave a speech about progress, growth and development and new jobs and oppourtunities in Olsen City and when the time comes Marble Corp will expand beyond the city limits and the national border
the people on the street applauded. Eric Kent who was a local journalist was reporting at the scene. getting an article ready for tomorrow's news paper. He had to beat the 6 o'clock deadline. so he had 8 hours to write a story before the paper went to print. This was no problem for him he was the best the Olsen Daily had.
Personally he didnt know what to make of this Robert Spears. Eric has moved into Olsen from New York in 2000 after he quite working for the New York times in place for a more easy job at a smaller local news paper. This was after Robert's term as mayor.
He had heard stories of blackmail, corruption and embrezzlement from Robert while he was mayor but choose not to pursue them for his own security. Besides he sensed the public liked him and so to appeal to the reader he had to follow the publics opinion.
Marble Developments Products were quickly filling shelves in the store for the first time. brought in from a newly built Marble Corp factory in the southern part of Olsen (which provided more jobs for people)

Our factory can produce 300,000 of each unit of the Head Relief and Pain relief annually. We hope to expand and buy more factory's and pay foriegn factories to produce our products etc. We want to be prosperous and help make foriegn nations prosperous with our capital. So who wants to get involved with our new company and do some trade deals. Or join a Partnership on a joint project like computer technology (Or something more secret)
