Nope I believe that while the ICBM's from the subs would reach their target in a couple of minuets, they could be destructed without going Nuclear... Like 5 minuets or something before the MIRV warheads reach their targets maybe 10 minuets.
And the Cruise missiles can be redirected out to sea where they will exhaust their rocket motors and sink into the Ocean. Being picked up by our Navy's Deep sea Recovery vessel.

Four MRAW command vehicles took up positions around Seattle,
and Twelve AAV's which were part of the Marines NBC recon teams sped over the water
to the city.
They were going to work in three vehicle teams; 1 was a scout, 1 carried NBC troops to go out on foot with the passenger section sealed from the driver/ commander.
Vehicle 3 was an ambulance to pick up any survivors.
On the shores around the Island peninsula that was Seattle and it's suburbs had been completely closed off with several thousand troops, Mechanized infantry and Armor units.

Everything seemed to move in slow motion, not just the shock of such devastation visited on one of the Nation's greatest cities. But the fact that the rescue vehicles moved at five miles an hour. Some times only two miles an hour.

There were few people who could be called "survivors" for nearly all the soldiers that had been within a quarter mile were injured by the shockwave from the explosion and the debris which had slashed holes in their suits.

Each person had to be evaluated, put on a stretcher and carried to the ambulance. Then if it looked like they would survive then they were placed on a Stainless Steel table and every surface was decontaminated, but as it was too early to know for certain which agents ( Biological or chemical ) had been used there was a slow and laborious task of using nearly all the different kinds of chemicals to make some one "safe". Then they were put into a New NBC suit and sprayed with bleach on the outside before being put into the ambulance.

After nearly ten hours of work, the teams were recalled. Even though they had only covered about a third of the city for sure. The process to clean them up was also slow in the extreme. Finally it was determined that all forces inside the city before the blast would have to move them selves out of harms way. The Sterilizing would take place at Noon that morning.

Only 1,000 of the 5,000 men and women who had been garrisoned in Seattle had been found alive and injured but able to walk or limp out of their craters and ruined shelters. Another 1,500 had been found dead from the blast or had disappeared all together. There were radio calls from people trapped under roofs and inside buildings which had collapsed in the explosions.
But there was no helping them unless the agent could be identified before noon.

After the "bomb" went off, if it was a bomb the AAV7 which had been carrying 4th platoon and it's assistants members of a Combat medic unit. The whole ride had gone from boring to Unreal. They had heard the first blast, felt the impact and were moving towards it when they got the call it was near The Space Needle.
The Commander ordered his driver to make it fly and they went upto 35mph passing the East side water front where they were patrolling when the Impact hit them. The blast was probably 400ft away, but from what ever hight it was the blast threw them into a cinder block wall of some warehouse. The whole ride, 20 tons of it was tossed like a rag doll another 35ft inside the building before the roof collapsed onto them. the vehicle was "upright" more or less, it seemed to be nosed up on something.
Everyone inside had been thrown from one end to the other, and half were sleeping off the concussions, except the driver, Commander and four medics. Everyone else had been readying for a stop and drop, ( vehicle pulls from high speed to a sudden stop and drops the back door, Everyone gets out it continues to circle the area ).
The Commander was shaken and slowly slapped his driver's helmet until he could get a response.

"What? Stop that! I'm awake already!..,"

The Commander tried to call the passengers with his radio, but everything was off. They both unbuckled and tried to rearrange themselves. The commander took out the Flashlight and began to shine it around. There was some blood on the console, it looked like they had broken noses and now the pain was setting in. The driver slid back to the access door. It was sealed still, he motioned to the Commander.

" Well either we get out or we die,"

The driver broke the seal and pushed on the door, it only came open a bit and the air was full of dust. They yelled back inside, there was a pause and then a pale yellow light.

"Wellow! wis Wany won win ware?," Came several muffled voices.

" Yea it's us ! Look the driver and I can't get out, what's blocking the door?,"

" Were wall walked wout, wait... wits won of wa soldwers,"

Well can you move him? And why the hell are you talking like that?," Came the Commander's confused reply.

The radio crackled on, " Sorry we have our MOP SUITS ON, it's making it hard to talk.

Then the door swung open freely into the pale light of two Glow Sticks. the Four members of the Combat Medics were at the bottom of the compartment, everything was at a 45degree angle with the nose "Up". After some wrestling the back emergency exit opened up enough to get out one at a time. But it was slow. They fed the sleeping men out into the dark area under the roof. and then pondered how to get out of where ever they had landed.

1 I believe this thread or my part in it, is nearly over. We have a peace agreement with Cuborg who has accepted it.
2 Macgruber and I may have some odds and ends to tie up, but his fleet wasn't destroyed so there's no 2 billion to repay.
3 Cuborg agreed to the terms of peace, which means opening up his country to Inspectors, and dismantling all WMD facilities. As well as building a defense force for the next ten years.

I don't remember all of the peace agreement, so I'm going to relook at it.

Basically those were the terms, Cuborg Agreed to them.
I see no reason in real life to keep this a drawn out conflict, the continued tactics of
chemical or biological weapons against us would merely draw a unlimited nuclear war.
Using 150kiloton to 50magaton Nuclear warheads. ( And would provide enough radiation to sterilize the soil of your nation(s). Even if I only struck Military targets it would be decades before anyone could walk through many of the vast tracks of your nation without falling into a mass of goo.
Crops would fail, people would painc and attempt to flee all that stuff that goes wrong and such.
So Can we the players end this peacefully as agreed or Do you two wish to continue the harassing tactics ?

I'm still not sure about your ultimate ends for this thread, I didn't plan on getting into
the Forever War. And will not turn into an Occupying force trying to run your nation(s)

I've done what I had planned on doing plus a great deal more, that was fun. Now may nation needs to focus on rebuilding before the people come out of there bunkers and demand a vengence against the two governments that destroyed their capital.

Macgruber army is working round the clock to ready all nuclear missiles and Biological missiles for launch if this goes sour. Thousands of women and children have been evacuated to Safe CM provinces. All of Macgruber's anti missile defenses have been activated. High ranking military and governmental officials have been moved to the large nuclear bomb shelters.

Official message to Cascade states and Cuborg: You know we could still fight but we can just ban WMDs from the conflicts. Cascade state we both know the outcome of a nuclear war.

Because I am starting to agree with other players, the use of nuclear weapons basically ends or starts a conflict. It is not a means to wage war.
But as I said, my nation's leaders have, hmm possibly days before those folks inside the bunkers start asking some hard questions.
1 day is a drill
2 days is and "accidental spill" or some issue over seas
3 days is a direct threat, possibly an attack on our soil
4 days is a war, real and hard war, the people would of course understand why they were there for protection. But the lack of information would begin to wear on them. By the end of a week my government would have to explain that we were attacked, that it was a Biological attack. People would find out our Capital was struck, they would demand a measured response ( some would want unrestricted war ). This has already happened and when word got out the Cuborg wasn't living upto the peace agreement ,
because of the continued WMD program / and probably a denial of Inspectors. It would cause the people here at home to become discontented and angry.

Your only chance of dismantling our program is if cascade states makes his army smaller and dismantles all of his WMD programs. The only way you could possible bend me is if you 'wet my beak' if you catch my drift.

Basically,
Cuborg has had an ON / OFF series of hostilities with Macgrubber
( both are siblings in Real life )
this I believe started out as peaceful international action of some kind,
there was some sort of alliance.
Then Cuborg stated that they were going to sell samples of a biological
agent they had developed.
Our nation decided to purchase the samples to build a vacine against it,
as well as study the processes developed by Cuborg.
Macgruber had also bought some of the supplies for uses they didn't specify.
While at the laboratory our C-130 and it's four escorts waited on a tarmac
while the delegate from our Nation, Mr. Woolesy and four assistants took
something to the tune of 165million dollars in gold ( our payment for the product )
There was to be some sort of "Demonstration", then things got odd, alarms went off. My people were ordered to follow a Cuborg official. There was some sort of "escaped man" a shootout ensued when my people felt that the biological agents might leak or contaminate anyone else. Our people activated a "backup" plan which was to activate a magnesium box that was brought to carry our samples home.
Needless to say that was spectacular in a bad way.
Our people got outside, were taken by Cuborg forces into a van which sped off ( with the gold ).
Our forces received a radio from Mr. Woolsey that they were taking fire from the lab, and one of our F-35 planes began to use it's 20mm cannon to lay suppressing fire against the lab.
Things blew up, fires raged...
Macgruber's people called an air strike, which blew up all of my aircraft as well as the site itself.
Macgruber lead an incursion into Cuborg to retrieve their money,
a shootout took place with Cuborg winning in the end.
A series of messages flew between all three countries, Macgruber agreed
to have a negotiations about the loss of property and what would happen.
They sent an envoy our nation,
Cuborg after some bluffing, agreed that they would return our people and gold as soon as possible.
Cuborg had an assassin on board Macgruber envoy's plane.
there was a shooting, Our forces attempted to save the plane and all aboard,
but it was impossible.
We brought the plane to shore in a recovery ship, and it is on a barge waiting for clear passage to return the bodies and airframe to Macgruber.
More words were exchanged,
Cuborg relayed a message saying that they had decide to renigg on the previous agreements.
We began moving our forces to an active stage, and evacuated all civilians to shelters in the country sides.
Cuborg using a " Supper Cannon " fired ( 9 ) 350mm Ebola filled shells into
our Nation's capital Seattle.
We responded by a counter strike of ( 600 ) B-52's with stand off cruise missiles, and ( 80 ) B-2 with cruise missiles to strike the Cannon.
We also used Jamming and AEW planes to maximize combat potential.
Fighters and all that jazz.
After we had "bombed" every military site of interest we could find with satellites we had repossitioned. We demanded the imediate return of our people and gold.
Cuborg refused, and continued to hold WMD's with the express purpose of using them as leverage against us.
There was massive movement of forces from Macgruber to Cuborg,
Cuborg was ordered to stand down it's WMDs ( only at this point )
They refused.
We fired a small number of Trident D-5 ICBM's from about 1,000 miles off their shore and then followed with a small number of tactical nuclear cruise missiles to hit any sites we had previously missed.
just before impact ( with less than 5minuets left ) Cuborg agreed to the terms of peace between our nations which is on page 15 or 17?
We aborted the missiles, they are being recovered by several of our ships at this time.
( the peace treaty is on page 17? I forget )
Macgruber and I have some agreements to work out about losses of property.
After the missiles were aborted there became some confusion over who lost what ( since there was no nuclear detonations ).
And this has caused several disagreements between all three parties as to who owes who how much.
But basically Cuborg as agreed not once but atleast twice to repay Macgruber the money for the samples which were lost, as well as myself.
They have yet to do so.
Also an interesting note, Macgruber and Cuborg will come within inches of a full out war between their nations, then just as quickly join forces or stop hostilities to work on another country. ( Cascade States in this case )
Our nation has images of at least one of our people being assaulted while tied up on the surface of a Cuborg base.
We have suspicians about the real motives of that "exchange" and
suspicians as to the real status of Cuborg and Macgruber Military and WMD
capablilities.

At present there is no demand from Cascade States that Macgruber give up it's WMD program.
The peace treaty we have with Cuborg ( yet unratified ) was that Cuborg
( found on page 18, post #269 )

We did not say that Macgruber was ordered to dismantle.
Only Cuborg,
Cuborg agreed to it under the grounds that we did not use those ICBMs and
Cruise Missiles against their assets.
Now Cuborg has to live by it's agreements.

In a strategic move Macgruber order 2 cargo ships to transport dozens of Nuclear weapons to a missile base in CM. this journey will take 24 hours. the ships deported 1 hour ago.

Cuborg has embarked on a reckless move to build and then use WMD,
They have lied, and stolen from The Cascade States and Macgruber.
They started a war with the Cascade States, they lost that war,
our peace agreement was very kind towards them.

We recommend you halt this action,

Any Aircraft entering into Cuborg air space will be redirected, any plane which
does not leave after a warning will be shot at, if it does not redirect after that it will be shot down.
All roads, railways and other means of entering the Cuborg nation are sealed by Cascade States.
All Sea lanes are blocked so that ships may leave, but they must head away from the blockade, and maintain a peaceful purpose.

Macgruber's forces are to leave Cuborg air, water and soil, until this situation can be sorted out.

There will be NO Nuclear transfer between either nation, there will be an interdiction for the purposes of maintaining peace in the region and to help
Cuborg abide by it's peace deal with The Cascade States.

ARCS ( Armed Republic of Cascade States ) vessels in the area moved to begin the blockade of Cuborg,
Air sorties were started, and preparations for a siege.

More ships and subs were on their way, flights from the mainland were running now to ensure that there was no "surprises" from Cuborg or Macgruber on the high seas.

Airborne Early warning planes swept the ocean for any signs of ships, planes or subs.

Strategic Bombers were reloaded and new crews took over, the planes took up holding patterns in the air over the ocean.

Both Carrier Battle groups went to Alert, thirty percent of their aircraft were in the air at any time, Anti-sub warfare helicopters swept the sea for any magnetic anomalies or Sonar signatures. The fleet(s) subs began to the prowl for enemy subs or vessels.
Mine sweepers took up perimeter positions and searched for any mines.
Corvettes and frigates were dispatched to assist in the blockade, with Destroyers on the way soon after.

The Marines were called up, for a secrete mission.

Bomb what, COMRADE? You blew up all our military targets? And our WMDs and commanders are underground. And your only option is to bomb civilians and stoop down to the very level you're protesting.

It's going to be hell to play a cat and mouse game in the nebulous world
of the Cuborg / Macgruber coast lines.

But if I continue in this we need to have some real hard maps of where and how far.

There are at least a couple of really good examples of when an national force
closed " International water / Airspace " during a war.
It is generally accepted in real life by the United Nations, for a limited time that this can be done to keep civilians safe from straying into the war zone.

So I guess I'm going to hold my IC playing until Macgruber and and Cuborg
can post some maps which give us a rough idea of what they look like geographically and politically.
Otherwise my nation's only option would be to interdict all vessels and aircraft, to close all bridges and railways out of that country.
And return to the use of bunker busting weapons, and tactical nuclear weapons on those bunkers once they've been all exposed by conventional munitions. This would be a war of attrition, in which I'd wear away at your bases, dig out those leaders who remained.
If necessary divide your nation into new boarders and set up regional governments.
I'm well aware in and out of character that Macgruber would probably use
everything in it's arsonal to stop us, then we'd loose a great deal of our naval forces in theater, but would inevitably wind up doing the same sort of Shock and Awe campaign against their military ( with some new things up our sleeves) Followed by an expensive and time consuming repeated bombing campaign with 500lb-ers. Eventually I'd have lost several thousand men and dozens of planes and billions of dollars...
But there would be a nuclear war between us, My ridiculous nuclear supplies would be diminished, but both our countries would suffer greatly.

I don't want to be rude, but I don't see a way you'd win this in a conventional war, even less in a nuclear war.
I have massive supplies, and the ability to wage a stand off war against both of you. As a player I have no desire to level your nations, where as my nation is only a couple of days from having to explain it's actions to a nation who unless appeased with the Cuborg / Cascade States peace agreement enacted. Would call out for blood.
Our nation would not choose to land a massive land invasion against Macgruber and Cuborg. We know what a Veitnam style war is like, and it would simply be easier to bomb any thing with a gun until there was no one left to raise a weapon. call an international force to come build a new stable government.

Or the worst case I'd have to Neutron bomb military targets and then remove
the WMD's our selves.

Basically I'm a little tired in real life, but don't want to be a follower of the
radio active glass movement, but this needs to end.
Also Cuborg if you'd agreed to the peace deal and followed through you'd be half way done by now.

It is in Macgruber's interests to agree to it too, since they will be the regional
power as well as probably be the ones who wind up rebuilding Cuborg's assets.

We held back the nuclear strike on Macgruber since Cuborg was the instigator in our first two "incidents", but their continued belligerence in these matters is testing our patience. Macgruber should remain a non-combatant
and neutral with respect to aiding the Cuborg side of this conflict.
If Macgruber supports Cuborg, then Macgruber will be held in equal responsibility for destruction.

I can't tell you if they strike my missiles without some idea of what these things can do.

Oh, since an EMP works by over powering all the circuits with too much electrons, Doesn't that sound like it would detonate the warheads? Since they are set off by explosive charges to cause universal implosion. It seems to me that by washing the warhead in all that Electromagnetic energy is going to cause some "side effects".

Where did this guy come from?
I'll accept that once he's in my country he could probably shoot a PFC, or a Corporal.
Steal the uniform and even a truck.
But The city was sealed off, The Bridges closed. They were begining the purge of
contaminated areas. He wouldn't have just been allowed to drive in because he had a uniform.
Also where did he pilfer 55,000 pounds of High Explosives? It's not something that is just lying around. HE is something the Military ( all over the world ) keeps pretty tight tabs on. You couldn't wave your E-5 rank and expect to have the Quarter Master to hand over nearly 30 tons of the stuff.

Also for the purposes of this story, I suppose it doesn't matter a great deal since the city is going to be burned ( locally ) and the rest sterilized where the buildings are intact.

But these sort of things would be nearly unheard of, since none of us live in Iraq.

Squad moves south to meet the ship and at a range of 93 miles from target each fires
Four, SS-19 Shipwreck missiles. With a Speed of 1,300mph and a warhead of 1,650 pounds.
Then begin firing counter measures against possible Anti-Air missiles and return to base in the Cascade States. One more Squadron takes their place and another squadron moves up to the "waiting list".

Steven Glansworth was already in the city. He was a one-man sleeper cell. He got his explosives from the Cuborg National Armory. Glansworth has backed by an entire nation, and given access to the materials he needed. Steven H. Glansworth will be remembered for his great duty for his country. (OOC: Can we get an official damage report?)

The EMP rockets will (hopefully) disable the nuclear capability of the missiles by destroying the circuits that would activated the nuclear material. The rockets are actually missiles (OOC: I originally thought Tridents were rockets). Trident I UGM-96A missiles, with EMP-emitting magnetic equipment were fired from the HMS Devonshear.

I don't have the mental capacity to work How BIG the blast is,
But I'll just say that it was Massive. City shaking, probably felt for a couple of miles and seen for half a dozen more.
( I'll get someone to work out how big that would be later )

As for the Nuclear bombs / EMP I'll have to call a cousin who works nuclear tech
for the Navy and see what he says I know that there were plans to use nuclear weapons to attack nuclear weapons in air, but that was a Blast / shockwave not the EMP.

the laptop had a "virtual memory " issue,
then it decided to have a mental break down and I'm building my tower.

I haven't been able to reach anyone I know who's business it nuclear weapons from
my family / friends.

The Western side we have only covered by a few ships, We rely on observation from

Assurances are a wonderful thing but they do not provide the same level of protection as eye witnesses do. The Aircraft will turn around now, and will be allowed to enter as soon as we can put inspectors in the Cuborg Airports, seaports and rail stations.
These are non Negotiable terms, If you wish to send inspectors we will be happy to add them to the Cuborg / Cascade States inspectors.

Locate sources of future attacks, by WMD and fire 200kt warheads at ( 1 per 2.5sq miles of base )
Begin striking ALL Military bases, ( Air Force, Navy, Army…) By in Order of Largest to Smallest.
Beginning with your largest Army base / and Air Force it will receive 8 ( 200kt warheads ) Ground bursting the first 4, in order to “dig up” any underground base assets, the second 4 fall 1 minuet later and will also impact before detonating.
Secondary Army / Air Force bases, will receive 1 airburst ( 1megaton ) and 4 warheads ( 200kt each ) to ground detonation spread out 1.5 miles apart.
Largest Navy Base attack as follows, 5 ( 1 mega ton warheads ) with One centered on the middle of the Navy base, the other four to be detonated North, South, East and West of it 7 miles from the “center” blast. The Air bursts will be 1.5 miles of elevation. The Second strike will fall 1 minute after initial blast with 8 ( 200kt warheads) that will fall into your Bay / River what ever body of water. Each warhead will fall a quarter of a mile apart ( to follow a linear course if river, or a cluster if a bay or sea shore )
Secondary Navy bases, ( Like coast guard, and Marine bases) will receive 1 ( 200kt warhead) for every 4sq miles of base. Dropped in a “grid pattern” if base is larger than 4sq miles.

Then there is a pause while data is relayed by satellite to commanders as to damage assessment. Any targets which show signs of life will receive second and if necessary third Nuclear strikes.
All ships attempting to leave the Nation being attacked will be ordered back to the port they are leaving. If they do not return they will be fired on. Will take atleast 30 minuets to reach your shores, this should be time enough for you to make some attacks against them, Here is how they are loaded should they reach their targets;

Coastal targets of Macgruber cities and places of interest;
Begin with flights of 6 planes per city targeted;

Several of the smaller boats ( 5 vessels ) Begin firing Nuclear Cruise Missiles with 120kt warheads towards the coastal boarder between Cuborg’s North Eastern boarder and Macgruber’s South Eastern Coast. 10 large ships begin moving towards the coast, they begin unloading smaller boats 20 each capable of carrying 50 men.

A Blackhawk helicopter escorted by an Apache gunship nears the train. The two break up and the gunship circles the train as the Blackhawk helicopter lands 100ft away from it....

The 'General' unbolts the engine room door, and looks at the deceased guards. He notices an MK-01 assault resting on the floor. He checks the magazine. Full. He checks the safety. Off. The impostor rips off his latex mask, and his phoney-baloney Cuborg general's uniform. Mr. X re-enters the engine room, barricading the door.

The train started moving. Only 130 kilometers to Macgruber, and downhill at that.

The Blackhawk decides to fly over the train and have the men placed directly above the car beside the engine room. It gets up over the train and the 8 men are swiftly dropped onto the slow moving train. One solider makes a large circle out of Thermite and sets and ignite it.....

The gunship has orders to destroy the train if it gets within 100 miles of Macgruber.

Mr. X notices the men on the train and half-assedly fires a burst of several shots at them, leaning from the engine car window... The train is going just faster than walking speed.

The shots clip one solider in the arm ,but that doesn't seem to hinder his ability to walk or jump. The men jump down to the car and secure all of the doors. 3 soldiers at the back of the cart and 4 at the engine room door. One of the men by the engine room door aims his combat shotgun at the hinges and fire another man gets ready to throw in a flash grenade when the door falls

OCC: I assume its a weak door because Mr.X could shoot through it.

OOC: Yes, it's a relatively weak door, but it's being barricaded.

The train builds up speed. Mr. X jettisons all the cars except for the closest one to the engine room: the warhead car. He sticks the barrel of his MK-01 through a previously made hole in the door and fired blindly.

"we're going to give you one chance to come out!" shouted Commander Funkleberry.

Mr. X weighs his options...

He activates the brakes. "I'm coming out! Don't shoot!" He chucks his rifle on the ground, and surrenders to the soldiers.

Mr. X is hit in the chest repeatedly with pieces of flying metal. He falls backwards onto his back, landing near his MK-01. As his last dying act, Mr. X extends his middle finger, and his world goes black.

As the soldiers reach the cargo they notice one warhead is missing. the commander reaches the engine room and presses onto Macgruber. The helicopters return to base.

The Enterprise crept silently through the water. It's black exterior reflected none of the full moon's light. The crew were scrambling around the innards, desperate to meet their deadline. In the center of the ship, surrounded by catwalks, a white and red SCUD missile sat on an angel. The missile was pointed towards a currently closed sliding panel. The ship's outer shell was covered with stealth material, and black panels. The captain ordered full speed towards Cascade States. Nothing would stop its nuclear cargo.

As the Standard SM-2’s finish the interceptions, the second wave of fire comes from:

These missiles are being fired to intersect the path of the Macgruber ICBM’s and detonate their multiple warheads spread out 2 miles apart in a grid which is; 4 miles by 16 miles with each missile. The idea is to “burn up” the Macgruber missiles with the close and overlapping waves of thermonuclear blasts.
160 warheads, working in 20 grids ( 320 miles acrossed, and 4 miles high from top to bottom ) and should look like a series of blasts from one end of the sky to the other, the small yield means it won’t affect surface electronics or aircraft flying below 70,000ft.

Any missiles which survive this ( because they were a second wave ? ) will receive the following;

These missiles are set to airburst directly in front of and around the surviving missiles before they reach the middle of their middle arc ( the first third of flight ) 4 x 4 warhead detonations, each detonation 2 miles apart in a square of 4 miles by 4 miles. This should work out to 1,600 miles long, by 4 miles wide by 4 miles high ( from it’s top to bottom ).


Back on the ground in the Cascade States;
Orders to Fire 100 Minute Man missiles delivered to Alaska, British Columbia, Washington and Oregon States.
Each state is ordered to fire 25 missiles, with their 8 MIRV’s of 120kt warhead each.
Targets are the Major cities in Macgruber. They should begin their terminal course in six minutes from launch.

Immediate launch orders are given to the 40 B-2 bombers who are in a holding position, their targets are The cities of Cuborg. They are using Variable warheads ( like the Mk 86)
And are set to 1megaton each, 20 warheads per plane. 4 warheads per city on the map given, and extra bombs to be used against “surviving” targets or dropped on any underground tunnels for roads and railroads flown over.
The second set of 40 B-2 bombers are given immediate launch orders

The third wave of Bomber pilots are called to duty, this will take 30 minutes before they can get air born.

A second call is given to All Strategic Bomber groups to take immediate flight and assume a bombing run with what ever munitions are currently loaded.
( there will be a mix of conventional bombs, nuclear bombs and cruise missiles )
Flights will take 10minutes for the first B-52 group to get off the ground, and each other group will take off at 20 minutes. Another wing will take off from every state every 10 minutes.

dozens of surface ships East of your Coast, Submarines hunting your surface ships, as are B-52's armed with Anti-ship missiles which have ranges in excess of several hundred miles and some travel two or three times the speed of sound. The AWAC planes are watching areas of roughly 600 miles in

I would be willing to guess that your ship could make it a day maximum before they would be spotted by surface ships and submarines.
But only a couple of hours in blue seas before it was spotted by Aircraft.
Don't forget that a ship moving creates wake, a white Vee behind it. That cannot be made "stealth" and is visible with satellites.
As soon as it is spotted, it will be fired apon.

The countries anti air systems go online and fire at all CS planes in range. This includes parts of Cuborg. Hundreds of IRIS-T, MBDA Meteor, and A-Darter missiles are fired at all planes in range and hundreds more ready for ones coming into range.

The full Macgruber armed airforce takes of and fly into combat attacking any plane not locked onto by the anti air missiles

Dozens of Boeing Harpoon missiles are also launched at any CS naval vessel.

That our Nuclear exchange will be finished long before these planes reach your shores.
The bombers will take like half an hour to reach your coast, and maybe two or three hours to reach targets.

I don't mean to be an ass, but you never told me how many missiles there were.
You said that there were 1,000 decoys in addition to the missiles. You said that the others were " in equal numbers "
So I figured you were talking about a combined force of 2,000 missiles.
But as you don't have to "hit" them like if you were shooting bullets, it's more like shooting a model rocket with a Rocket Propelled Grenade it makes my life much easier.

I figured all things being equal that maybe 200 to 400 warheads, since this would have been the lower section of your nation, and it could have eliminated the missiles headed directly to my Southern State, which only has a coast of 375miles. That leaves Washington, British Columbia, and Alaska.
The total coastal mileage in my nation is just under 3,000 miles,.

This would just about horse shoe around your nation from it’s southern boarder with Cuborg clear up over the Northern side. This would destroy any missiles inside it’s “Area of Effect”.
Unless there were More missiles launched at a latter time ( like several minutes later )
It seems likely that all the missiles which were listed have been destroyed.
Unless you can think of a likely reason for why any would have survived?
But there are second and third waves of missiles being launched from my nation, and there are still local levels of missile defense, ( each state, and their counties, the islands ect. )
There would also be the coast guard, and some specialized aircraft.

Those black tiles are going to warm up once the sun beats down on them.
Even if you put some sort of cooling system under them, it would never match the air around it perfectly. It would tend to create hot and cool patches depending on location of the tiles in relation to the sun, the angles of the boat are going to absorb heat differently and cooling them universally would be a real issue. The anomaly on a thermal image ( let alone the sight of a black ship on normal light images, but is "invisible" on Radar would raise alarms )

Also how do hide the sound of the engines running, the screws pushing it through the water and all that jazz. ships make quite abit of noise.

You must realize that the Maximum range of a Scud is like 90 to 150 miles?
It will take your ship days to reach my coast.

Even if you went full out towards my fleet, you'd have to pass well inside the Sonar range of over a dozen ships, and more than half a dozen submarines.

Ontario hun? Cool. I've never been to Canada, but it seems like a good place to
visit. I'd start at Vancouver Island, and then work my way towards the fossil beds in B.C.

The Vehicle is fired apon by the ring of Military vehicles which have been ordered to blockade the city of Seattle. ( Happened after the Ebola issue )
He won't be able to reach the bridges into the city, actually he'd probably
have been stopped by patrolling National guard units. ( and would probably

Our citizens were evacuated, so any vehicle is going to be stopped several times before it could travel several miles in any direction. As necessary to prevent other citizens from potentially looting, or committing other serious

You know, I have no idea. I'll have to do some research. There would several water filtration plants in each state, and their counties. Since our nation is
temperate we don't have to a whole lot of filtration, or desalinization .
As for blue prints, those like power plants and radio stations would not be publicity available. But if there are some I can find online I'll try and get them.

The LIM-49 missile used Neutron Flux to destroy unhardened missile warheads,,
As previously stated, Minuteman missiles are EMP hardened so that it WILL NOT be affected by EMP effects. ( the missiles should continue on their course )

Mini23 anti Aircraft missiles?
I was unable to find out any information on them via the internet. ( who made them? )

There is no such thing as a “stealth ICBM” and I’ll tell you why;
Stealth is accomplished by incorporating several factors,
Size; small objects are easier to hide than large ones.
Shape; an object which is long and wide but thin is easier to hide from a forward facing opponent. An object which is cigar shaped, 50ft long and 10ft wide is not easy to hide on a radar cross section. Moving the location and shape of flight stabilizers can help lower your cross section. But you do so at the cost of making the vehicle less stable.
Propulsion; The means of how it moves will determine how “stealth” it is against Radar and IR or other forms of Identification.
Slow moving turbo fan or turbo jet’s can be hidden by covering the exhaust as it leaves the engine, but this slows the aircraft down. It also means you have to alter the shape of the flight regulators. Rockets are decidedly NOT stealth. The heat plume from a launching missile is easily seen by satellites with IR and optical satellites who see the huge burst of light given off by the rocket motors burning away.

Are you talking about as they leave the Earth’s atmosphere they separate into more missiles?
Or are you saying that they break off into separate warheads?

In short you cannot build a stealth ICBM, it just isn’t possible. Not that clones are either, but I was prepared to accept that for some reason this was going on in Cuborg as an inconsequential piece of the story line, but stealth ICBM’s are wholly beyond the scope of scientific ability.
I choose not to believe in them, you’ll have to find another weapon. One which has been built by some nation.

Where do all these Macgruber suicide bombers come from?
I was prepared to accept that a singe guy, or small group could enter from Cuborg before hostilities started. But Macgruber was a nation with nothing against our nation. If you sent terrorists into our nation before we even started shooting at each other that in it’s self would be cause for war. After we started shooting it’s too late. Since I had posted that citizens of both Cuborg and Macgruber were being denied entry into our nation.

What about the hundreds of pounds of Anthrax?
Even if you nation had produced it, and I’m prepared to believe that. How did your nation get it into my nation? Why would they have done this before hostilities began?
Smuggling High explosives is hard, since you’d have to bribe maybe dozens of people to get passed customs and get a HQ for the cell that was going to use it.

But Anthrax requires sealed containers, special handling equipment at every moment or it would get out.
You would have to wear Level 4 Biohazard suits, decontamination rooms. Trucks to carry it all in. A place to hold it, dispersal equipment, highly trained people ( with PhD’s ) to move this stuff and use it. It’s not like a car bomb anyone can do that.
You’re going to have to figure out just when and how you could smuggle hundreds of pounds of Highly dangerous anthrax spores without killing your own people and the dock workers, delivery men. And managing to get all of this done without alerting the secrete police. ( good old nation states and it’s let’s have secrete police ).

“Lenny Smites” Will find himself on the wrong end of a military patrol.
Who will order him to stop the vehicle. If he does not do so immediately they will fire on him with small arms and 40mm under barrel grenade launchers.
There is no civilian travel since martial law was declared and civilians were ordered out of the cities ( back when Cuborg and I first started shooting each other ).

Question One; what time ( in relation to the earlier messages ) is this message being sent from your nations? ( in relation to Cascade States Pacific Standard time )

Reason for asking; like any "nuclear deterant" those missiles only had a few minutes of time in the before they passed the point of no return. Since they are meant to be fool proof in delivery you don't want them to able to recall at the last moment... Kind of spoils the effect.

Question two; is this a surrender of your nations by your nation's leaders?
( mainly the point is, are you the players telling me you're ready to end this )

Peace treaty for the Cuborg, Macgruber , Cascade States war;

In order cease hostilities in this conflict We the Armed Republic of Cascade States
Are putting forwards this document which will formally end our part in the now war which has involved Biological, Nuclear and chemical weapons.

In order for the Cascade States to withdraw it’s forces, naval fleets, strategic bomber and missiles Cuborg and Macgruber must agree to the terms set forward. Knowing that any refusal to do so later, or back peddling will result in immediate resumption of hostilities by Cascade States forces.

In order to provide sufficient proof of their nation(s) good will Both Cuborg and Macgruber will submit to Arms inspections which will show that they are no longer keeping or creating Weapons of Mass Destruction. These inspectors are to be allowed free access of any site which they believe is a facility which violates the terms of the peace treaty. And that any site which violates or refuses to be inspected is going to be destroyed by Cascade States forces.

That Macgruber and Cuborg will not own, produce for their own nations or any other nations; missiles, Strategic bombers with a range greater than 500 statute miles.
Missiles, ground, air or sea based will not have a range exceeding 100 miles.
No submarines.

The Nations of Macgruber and Cuborg will not have a deep water navy;
( Any ship greater than 1,000tons displacement ) And any ships kept will not have a nuclear power plant nor; Nuclear, chemical or biological weapons as part of their armament.

The Nations of Macguber and Cuborg will maintain a military for defensive use only,
And will not exceed 0.5% of their total population.

The total Airforces of Cuborg and Macgruber each will not exceed;
600 fighter aircraft ( include interceptors, and strike aircraft )
600 Ground attack aircraft
200 Bombers ( must conform to the range limitations previously described )
10 AWAC aircraft
30 Recon aircraft / maritime patrol planes
50 Heavy Transport aircraft ( no larger than 130 tons lift per plane )
50 Medium transport aircraft ( no larger than 20 tons lift per plane )
100 AC-130 Specter Gun Ships

No Mid-Air Refueling aircraft


No more Helicopters than the following;
1,000 troop transport helicopters
500 Attack helicopters ( which will include armed troop carriers with rockets or missiles)
200 ASW helicopters ( Anti-sub warfare )
400 Search and Rescue Helicopters ( all must be unarmed )

All of these aircraft are being counted in the total Naval airpower, they are not separate numbers of air craft.

Naval assets may not exceed;

100 ships of greater than 1,000tons each

Ground forces not to exceed;
Main Battle Tanks ( 60 tons or more )
May not exceed 5,000 vehicles including command and recovery vehicles.

Medium Battle Tanks ( 40-60 tons )
May Not exceed 5,000 vehicles including command and recovery vehicles.

Light tanks, IFVs and HIFVs ( 20-40 tons )
These will include light tanks and infantry carrying vehicles with anti-tank weapons
May not exceed 5,000 vehicles

Armored Personal carriers;
Any vehicle which is not Anti-tank based and carries troops greater than 4 in number counting crew. May weigh up to 60 tons if desired.
Total not to exceed 1,000 vehicles

Artillery, Mortars and rocket artillery;
Any vehicle mounted or towed weapons;
Mortar carrier weapons Not to exceed 1,000 units
Artillery Self propelled Not to exceed 1,000 units
Artillery towed Not to exceed 1,000 units
Rocket Artillery Not to exceed 1,00 units and their weapons range not to exceed 100 miles

Small arms and equipment to left upto the decisions of the governments responsible for the people of their nation(s).

These Agreements Bind Cuborg and Macgruber in peace with Cascade States for a period of ten years. At the end of which If Cuborg and Macgruber have abided by the peace treaty than at the End of Ten years from the time of the Treaty being signed than the Cascade States will withdraw it’s presence and allow the Nations of Cuborg and Macgruber to run their nation’s as they like. But if they do not abide by these agreements than they will revoke the safety of the peace agreement, and may be attacked until such time as they pose no danger to the Armed Republic of Cascade States, or any other nation which is attacked by them.
While abiding by the peace treaty in good faith the nation(s) of Cuborg and Macgruber will be protected from external hostile forces which have become aggressive against them. Provided that neither Cuborg nor Macgruber have done any thing to instigate the attack against their nation(s).

All three nations hereby agree to these terms for the peace treaty for the period of ten years from the signing of the peace treaty until it’s conclusion.
